Abstract

Salat is a compulsory worship performed by Muslims 5 times a day and can be supplemented with sunnah worship. Allah requires Muslims to comply with the Qur'an and the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad. In Salat, there are bowing and prostration movements that cause the spinal muscles to become stretched. This helps the muscles become more elastic and prevents pain in the spine. This article using the literature review by examining 5 journals regarding the association between Salat and the prevention of spinial pain. Journals are downloaded or obtained through the journal portals of universities in Indonesia published in the last 5 years. The results of research from 5 journals that have been reviewed, it can be concluded that if Salat movements such as bowing and prostration are carried out properly or seriously and not in a hurry, then this movement can help restore elasticity of the muscles of the spine and maintain flexibility, so that it can prevent pain in the spine and can be a natural therapy if there is already pain in the spine.

Abstract

The human body has important digestive organs such as the stomach. One of the gastric diseases, namely gastritis or ulcer, has started to be experienced due to a lack of knowledge about the factors that cause gastritis and the behavior to prevent gastritis. Gastritis, known as ulcer disease, is an inflammation or bleeding of the gastric mucosa caused by irritation, infection, and irregularity in eating patterns. The method used is a literature review article or literature review by examining 7 journals published from 2010-2020 regarding the effect of fasting on the health of the gastric digestive system which was carried out in April 2020. The results showed that there was a change in diet when fasting caused various changes in the body, especially in the digestive tract. Fasting gives the digestive system time to rest, which can reduce the risk or cure digestive health problems. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between diet, knowledge, and stress on the incidence of gastritis. Meanwhile, coffee consumption behavior and gender have no relationship with the incidence of gastritis.

Abstract

The prayer movement is an alternative exercise in endurance that is appropriate for Muslims to face the development of a world that is demanded with speed and endurance demanded with excellent muscle speed and endurance. Psychotherapy as a health worker has an important role in the effort to provide health services per its field, namely developing, maintaining, and restoring movement and body functions in life which includes impairments, functional limitation, and disabilities, which have a comprehensive, integrated, and sustainable nature involving roles. Some of the prayer movements that can be analyzed in the vector are the takbiratul ihram movement, the ruku’ movement, the i'tidal movement, and the prostration movement. Prayer is any word or deed that will form the essence of praying to Allah. If one of these pillars does not exist, then prayer is not considered syar'i nor can it be replaced by prostration. Prayers are not only the main practice in the hereafter but the most proportional prayer movements for the anatomy of the human body. Even from a medical point of view, prayer is a storehouse of medicine for various types of diseases. Allah, the Creator, knows exactly what His creation, especially humans really need.

Abstract

Worship is doing something that is against the desire of his lust, to magnify His God. According to the scholars of fiqh, worship is doing something to achieve Allah's pleasure and to expect His reward in the hereafter. Fasting comes from Arabic, from which the mufrad shaama-yashuumu-shiyaaman means "to refrain from doing something", whether it is eating, talking, or traveling. Meanwhile, in terminology, it means to refrain from eating, drinking, and listening and being accompanied by the intention from thedawn of the dawn to the setting of the sun. The method in this research is to use the literature review method. So here is visible health wisdom in the fasting law. Because fasting helps all living things to adapt to very little food and makes it able to live life naturally and normally. So that fasting can prevent degenerative diseases.

Abstract

Sleep is an important component for maintaining individual health. Insomnia is a common sleep disorder characterized by difficulty initiating or maintaining sleep or both despite the opportunity to do so. In an Elderly Social Service in the Jombang area, 42.5% of respondents experienced sleep disturbances in the form of insomnia and even 2.5 of the total respondents experienced severe insomnia. This study used a literature review of various scientific articles in the last 10 years. There were four journals that stated there was a significant relationship between ablution therapy before going to sleep on sleep disorders. The movement in ablution written in the Book of Thaharah Tarjih Muhammadiyah directly gives calm to the limbs that are washed as well as a calming therapy for those who carry it out. The author suggests that Muslims carry out one of the prophetic traditions, namely ablution before going to bed because in health science it can have a good impact on sleep quality and prevent sleep disorders.
