EDU RESEARCH : Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan merupakan jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh IICLS (Indonesian Institute for Corporate Learning and Studies), dan sebagai sarana publikasi hasil penelitian serta sharing perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Jurnal ini memuat artikel yang belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya yang berupa artikel hasil penelitian ataupun penelitian terapan, artikel telaah yang berkaitan dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan proses pembelajaran. Informasi mengenai pedoman penulisan artikel dan prosedur pengiriman artikel terdapat pada setiap penerbitan. Semua artikel yang masuk akan melalui ‘peer-review process’ setelah memenuhi persyaratan sesuai pedoman penulisan artikel. Penerbitan jurnal ini dilakukan sebanyak tiga bulan sekali yaitu pada bulan Maret, Juni, September, dan Desember.

Abstract

Pendidikan jasmani berbasis etnopedagogi adalah pendekatan yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai budaya lokal ke dalam pembelajaran fisik, dengan tujuan untuk menciptakan pengalaman pembelajaran yang lebih holistik. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan etnopedagogi dalam pendidikan jasmani, dengan fokus pada pengembangan keterampilan fisik dan pemahaman budaya lokal di kalangan siswa. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif yang melibatkan wawancara dengan guru, observasi kelas, dan analisis dokumen, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi manfaat dan tantangan yang terkait dengan penerapan etnopedagogi dalam pendidikan jasmani. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai budaya lokal, seperti permainan tradisional dan olahraga berbasis budaya, meningkatkan motivasi siswa serta memperkuat hubungan mereka dengan identitas budaya mereka. Namun, tantangan dalam hal pelatihan guru dan keterbatasan sumber daya masih perlu diatasi untuk memaksimalkan potensi etnopedagogi dalam pendidikan jasmani. Kesimpulannya, penerapan etnopedagogi dapat memberikan kontribusi besar terhadap pembelajaran yang lebih holistik, yang tidak hanya mengembangkan keterampilan fisik tetapi juga karakter dan pemahaman budaya siswa.

Abstract

The first aim of this research is, this research aims to explain the types of conjunctions used in descriptive texts written by students in class VII of SMP Negeri 22 Kerinci. Second, this research explains how conjunctions are used in student description texts in class VII of SMP Negeri 22 Kerinci. This research is qualitative and uses a descriptive approach. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 22 Kerinci. The data used in this research came from text descriptions of class VII students at the school. The descriptive text used in this research is the descriptive text of class VII students at the school. Classifying, analyzing, and discussing data is used to analyze it. The results of the research show that in the descriptive text of class VII students at SMP Negeri 22 Kerinci there are three types of conjunctions: 124 coordinating conjunctions, 186 subordinating conjunctions, and 2 inter-sentential conjunctions. The second type of conjunction used in the descriptive text of class VII students at SMP Negeri 22 Kerinci is 80 correct coordinating conjunctions. There are 89 correct subordinating conjunctions and 2 inter-sentential conjunctions. There are also 44 incorrect coordinating conjunctions and 97 incorrect subordinating conjunctions.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the effect of using a group investigation type cooperative learning paradigm on the ability of class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Pancung Soal in writing negotiation texts. This research focuses on the challenges students face in writing, including difficulties developing ideas and a lack of understanding of the structure of negotiated texts. The research method used was an experiment with a One Group pretest-posttest design. The research results show that the application of the Group Investigation type cooperative learning model can significantly improve students' negotiation text writing skills. Students involved in small groups actively collaborate to complete assignments, gather information, and discuss the results of their work. Through these interactions, students not only learn from teachers, but also from peers, which encourages their motivation and interest in learning. This research concludes that the cooperative learning model which emphasizes active student participation is effective in improving writing skills, especially in the context of negotiated texts. Therefore, it is recommended that teachers apply this model in the learning process to achieve better results in students' writing skills. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the development of innovative learning methods in schools.

Abstract

This research analyzes the role of digital leadership in educational transformation in the Education 4.0 era, with a focus on the readiness of school principals in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach through literature study, the results show that the majority of school principals do not have sufficient competence to face digital challenges, especially in mastering technology, change management and pedagogical innovation. Key barriers include limited infrastructure, resistance to change, and minimal stakeholder collaboration. Strategy recommendations include digital competency training, improving infrastructure, and developing contextual approaches to overcome these challenges. This study emphasizes the importance of digital in creating an innovative and adaptive learning ecosystem, which supports sustainable educational transformation.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan berkelanjutan semakin menjadi kebutuhan utama dalam menghadapi tantangan kompleks dunia modern, seperti krisis lingkungan, ketimpangan sosial, dan globalisasi. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana integrasi filsafat ke dalam kepemimpinan dapat menjadi fondasi yang kokoh dalam membangun keberlanjutan. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif eksploratif dan analisis filosofis, penelitian ini menggali nilai-nilai utama dari pemikiran para filsuf, seperti Aristoteles, Immanuel Kant, Hans Jonas, dan Peter Senge, serta menghubungkannya dengan praktik kepemimpinan berkelanjutan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa filsafat memberikan landasan etis, konseptual, dan strategis yang esensial bagi kepemimpinan berkelanjutan. Nilai-nilai seperti kebajikan, tanggung jawab moral, keadilan, dan pemikiran sistemik membantu pemimpin untuk mengambil keputusan yang tidak hanya berorientasi pada keuntungan jangka pendek, tetapi juga mempertimbangkan dampak jangka panjang bagi manusia, lingkungan, dan generasi mendatang. Selain itu, filsafat mendorong pemimpin untuk bersikap autentik dan visioner dalam menghadapi tantangan global yang kompleks. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendekatan filosofis bukan hanya memberikan perspektif yang lebih mendalam terhadap kepemimpinan, tetapi juga menawarkan panduan praktis untuk menciptakan solusi yang berkelanjutan, inklusif, dan adil. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam memperkuat hubungan antara filsafat, kepemimpinan, dan keberlanjutan, sekaligus mendorong pemimpin untuk menjadikan nilai-nilai filosofis sebagai fondasi dalam membangun masa depan yang lebih baik.

Abstract

At the beginning of mankind has not been born a social nature, in the sense of not having the ability to interact with others. Child's social ability is obtained from a variety of opportunities and experiences people associate with their environment. The need to interact with other people has been felt since the age of six months, when they have been able to get to know another human being, especially the mother and her family members. Children begin to distinguish the meaning of a smile and other social behaviors, such as anger (not happy to hear loud noises) and affection. Social development in adolescence develops the ability to understand another person as a unique individual. Both related to personal traits, interests, values or feelings that encourage teens to socialize more familiar with the peer environment or society either through friendship or romance. At this time berkembangan attitudes tend to give up or to follow the opinion, opinions, value, habits, interests, desires of others. There adolescent social environment (peers) that displays an attitude and behavior that can be justified, for example: pious, noble character, and others. Teens are expected to have appropriate social adjustment in terms of the ability to react appropriately to social reality, situations and relationships both within the family, school and community

Abstract

Assessment is an activity or process that involves collecting and processing information to measure and analyze the achievement of student learning outcomes. This research method adopts a qualitative approach by applying literature study techniques. Using literature studies, this research focuses on collecting, analyzing, and interpreting information available in the form of writings, articles, books, or journals that can provide insights related to the phenomenon being researched. This literature study shows that the assessment standards in Integrated Islamic schools aim to shape the character of students based on religious, nationalist, independent, mutual cooperation, and integrity values. The assessment is carried out comprehensively by involving an evaluation of students' attitudes, knowledge, skills, and morals. This assessment process prioritizes a structured and based approach on character development in accordance with Islamic teachings and universal social norms. Moral assessment has an important role in strengthening students' moral values, helping them adjust to the social environment, and supporting the formation of a good personality in the context of Islamic education. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: pertama, mendeskripsikan keterampilan menulis teks prosedur siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 9 Padang sebelum menggunakan model project based learning berbantuan media video animasi. Kedua, mendeskripsikan keterampilan menulis teks prosedur siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 9 Padang setelah menggunakan model project based learning berbantuan media video animasi. Ketiga, menjelaskan pengaruh penggunaan model project based learning berbantuan media video animasi terhadap keterampilan menulis teks prosedur siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 9 Padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Desain penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah one group pretest-posttegt design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 34 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini hanya satu kelas. Berdasarkan penganalisisan data dan pembahasan, disimpulkan tiga hal. Pertama, keterampilan menulis teks prosedur siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 9 Padang sebelum menggunakan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbantuan media video animasi berada pada kualifikasi Cukup (C) dengan rata- rata 65,44. Kedua, keterampilan menulis teks prosedur siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 9 Padang setelah menggunakan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbantuan media video animasi berada pada kualifikasi Baik (B) dengan rata-rata 84,56. Ketiga, hasil uji hipotesis yang dilakukan thitung > ttabel (9,06 >1,67) pada taraf signifikasi a yaitu 0,05 dan taraf kepercayaan sebesar 95%. Hal ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dalam penggunaan Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbantuan media video animasi terhadap keterampilan menulis teks prosedur siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 9 Padang.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how mathematical proficiency influences the leadership capabilities of engineers, as well as to offer insights to industry practitioners, educators, and policymakers in fostering a generation of future leaders equipped with both technical skills and strategic competencies within the Leadership paradigm of the DU/DI (Industrial and Vocational World). Mathematical principles, encompassing logic, patterns, and structures, have the potential to be applied in strategic decision-making processes, systematic planning, and in-depth analysis. In the context of leadership oriented toward the DU/DI philosophy, a leader's Mathematical Competence can enhance the quality of data-driven decision-making, optimize efficient planning, and improve resource management effectiveness. The method employed in this study is a literature review, utilizing an analytical approach to various relevant scientific sources.The research findings indicate that Mathematical Competence in Vocational Technology Education leadership has a significant impact. These principles enable leaders to optimally allocate resources, minimize inefficiencies, and strengthen resource utilization effectiveness. Additionally, mathematical approaches provide a systematic framework for managing complexity in measured decision-making processes. This study contributes to theoretical insights on the synergy between mathematics and DU/DI leadership, while offering a conceptual foundation to enhance leadership quality by integrating rational and humanistic aspects. The results of this research have theoretical and practical implications, which can serve as a foundation for designing a more effective, rational, and humanistic DU/DI leadership model. To broaden the scope of these findings, further research is recommended, particularly focusing on empirical testing of the effectiveness of mathematical competence in DU/DI leadership contexts and analyzing its long-term impacts in greater depth

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum has four language skills that must be applied, including: listening, reading, speaking, writing, presenting, and viewing. At the Junior High School (SMP) education level for Indonesian language subjects, writing skills need to be improved. This research is related to the effect of using the Think Pair Share (TPS) type cooperative learning model assisted by audiovisual media on the fantasy text writing skills of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang. This type of research is quantitative with experimental method. The population in this study were all seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang in the 2024/2025 school year totaling 271 students selected by purposive sampling technique. The data in the study were the scores of students' fantasy text writing skills before and after using the Think Pair Share (TPS) type cooperative learning model assisted by audiovisual media. The results showed the effect of using the Think Pair Share (TPS) type cooperative learning model assisted by audiovisual media with an increase in the students' average score from 60.42 with Fair qualification (C) to 78.61 with Good qualification (B).
