Abstract

This study is motivated by the crucial role of lower limb explosive power in supporting the shooting performance of football players, alongside the limited research specifically linking these two variables in adolescent groups. The objective of this research is to examine the relationship between lower limb explosive power and shooting ability in 17-year-old football players at Persatuan Sepakbola Rambatan. A quantitative approach with a correlational design was employed. The sample consisted of 40 players selected through total sampling from the entire population. Measurement instruments included the standing broad jump test to assess lower limb explosive power and a goal-shooting test from three different angles with six attempts to evaluate shooting ability. Data were collected through direct observation and documentation, and analyzed using the Liliefors normality test and Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The results indicate a significant relationship between lower limb explosive power and shooting ability, with a calculated t-value of 2.18 exceeding the critical t-value of 1.68, indicating a positive and significant contribution. These findings confirm that explosive strength of the lower limbs is a key factor that should be developed to enhance shooting ability in youth football players. The study provides practical implications for coaches in designing physical training programs that emphasize lower limb strengthening to support players’ technical performance.

Abstract

Psychological assessment plays a strategic role in guidance and counseling practice, serving as a means to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the counselee’s potential, psychological condition, and personal challenges. This study aims to examine the functions and contributions of psychological assessment in supporting the effectiveness of the counseling process. A descriptive-analytical approach is employed to explore the role of assessment in objectively understanding individual characteristics across cognitive, affective, social, and academic dimensions. The assessment instruments utilized include test techniques, such as achievement, interest, aptitude, and personality tests as well as non-test techniques such as interviews, observations, questionnaires, and problem checklists. The combination of these approaches provides an accurate informational foundation for designing targeted intervention strategies aligned with the actual needs of the counselee. Beyond serving as an initial diagnostic tool, assessment outcomes also serve as a crucial reference for ongoing evaluation of the counseling process. Thus, psychological assessment is not merely an administrative procedure but an integral part of professional counseling that supports the optimization of individual potential and the reflective, well-being-oriented resolution of personal issues.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of students on stoichiometry material highlight the need for the development of contextual and applicative learning media. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using student worksheets (Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik, LKPD) based on project-based learning that incorporates the use of organic waste in improving the learning outcomes of phase E students at the senior high school (SMA/MA) level. The research design employed a quasi-experimental approach using a pretest-posttest model with two groups: an experimental class and a control class. The instruments used were pretest and posttest assessments to measure learning improvement. The t-test results showed a value of 5.17 > 2.01, indicating a significant difference between the experimental and control groups. Thus, the use of project-based LKPD integrating environmental issues through organic waste utilization was proven effective in enhancing student learning outcomes. The study concludes that a contextual, project-based learning approach can serve as an innovative alternative in teaching chemistry, particularly in stoichiometry. The implications of this research encourage educators to design LKPDs that are not only theoretical but also practical and relevant to everyday life.

Abstract

Character formation is influenced by various factors, particularly the family and community environments in which an individual is raised. Good character leads to positive behavior, while poor character tends to result in negative actions. The term character, derived from the Latin character, refers to traits, dispositions, or morals that distinguish one individual from another. In this context, akhlak (morals) is a component of character embedded within an individual, which drives spontaneous good or bad actions without rational deliberation. This study aims to examine the formation of students’ character through the learning of the classical Islamic text Ta’limul Muta’allim at Madrasah Mu’allimin Mu’allimat. The research employs a qualitative case study approach, using observation and interviews with students and school administrators. The findings indicate that the classical learning methods applied at the madrasah contribute significantly to the moral development of students. Following the study of Ta’limul Muta’allim, students exhibited positive behavioral changes, especially in their respect toward kyai (religious leaders), teachers, dormitory administrators, and peers. However, some students still displayed undesirable behaviors in daily life, indicating the continued need for consistent moral guidance. The study concludes that moral education through classical texts plays a crucial role in shaping the character of students in pesantren-based madrasahs. Its implication is that strengthening character education rooted in Islamic values should be an integral part of the pesantren education system.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of students served as the background of this study, particularly in the IPAS subject on the topic Landscapes and Their Utilization in Relation to Professions in Grade IV at SDN 03 Geragahan, Agam Regency. The aim of this research is to describe the improvement in learning outcomes through the implementation of the Cooperative Learning model of the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) type. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) employing both quantitative and qualitative approaches, conducted over two cycles. The research subjects included 24 students, the classroom teacher as an observer, and the researcher as the practitioner. The findings show significant improvements across various aspects: the average score of teaching module assessments increased from 85.4% in cycle I to 95.83% in cycle II; teacher activity rose from 82.75% to 96.87%; student activity also improved from 82.75% to 96.87%; and the average student learning outcomes increased from 71.4% to 87.81%. These results demonstrate that the AIR Cooperative Learning model fosters an active, collaborative, and reflective learning environment, leading to a positive impact on learning outcomes. In conclusion, the AIR model is effective as a learning strategy for improving IPAS learning outcomes in primary education.

Abstract

The conventional strategic management approach often overlooks ethical and spiritual dimensions, despite the increasing complexity of global challenges that necessitate the integration of such values. This study aims to analyze the application of Sharia-based strategic management in organizations or companies to establish an efficient, competitive managerial system grounded in Islamic ethical principles such as ʿadl (justice), ṣidq (truthfulness), amānah (trustworthiness), and iḥsān (excellence). The methodology includes literature review, a qualitative approach, and case studies with normative analysis of scholarly literature, fatwas, trade contracts, and online business practices. The main findings indicate that Sharia-based strategic management can achieve a balance between operational efficiency and competitive advantage while maintaining spiritual and social values. Three key pillars were identified: ethics as the foundation of strategy, efficiency in resource management aligned with the prohibition of isrāf (wastefulness), and the pursuit of long-term, value-driven competitive advantage. This study concludes that the model is not only applicable to Islamic organizations but also holds potential as a universal framework for sustainable modern managerial practices. The findings offer both conceptual and practical contributions to the development of management systems that integrate religious values with contemporary business goals.

Abstract

The construction of a U-turn facility on Maulana Hasanudin Street, Batu Ceper District, Tangerang City, is a strategic infrastructure initiative aimed at enhancing regional connectivity and accessibility. This study seeks to analyze the impact of the development on the community’s social geography, educational accessibility, and traffic density in the study area. A descriptive mix methods approach was employed, combining qualitative analysis with line density techniques to assess traffic congestion levels. The findings reveal that the U-turn development has generated complex effects. In terms of social geography, it altered travel patterns, influencing social interactions while simultaneously strengthening local community solidarity. Economically, the project stimulated activity in sectors catering to construction workers' needs, although other sectors faced adaptation challenges. Educational accessibility exhibited disparities in travel time between morning and afternoon, highlighting the need for traffic policies that are responsive to school activity rhythms. Traffic analysis indicated that, while the U-turn effectively managed vehicle flow during regular hours, congestion persisted during peak times (17:00–18:00 WIB) and weekends, with a traffic imbalance showing 30% higher density from Benda toward Maulana Hasanudin. These findings underscore the necessity for ongoing evaluation of both the social and technical impacts of urban infrastructure development.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of interactive learning media using the Construct application for the topic of active and passive electronic components at SMK Negeri 5 Padang. The research aims to produce interactive learning media that can enhance student engagement and to evaluate the feasibility of the media. The Research and Development (R&D) method was employed, utilizing the 4D development model, which includes the stages of Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires using a Likert scale to measure users’ attitudes, opinions, and perceptions. Validation by media experts yielded a score of 83.75%, categorized as very valid; content expert validation scored 77.77%, categorized as valid; and practical testing by users (students) achieved 81.99%, categorized as highly practical. In conclusion, the interactive learning media based on the Construct application for active and passive electronic components is feasible for use and effective in enhancing student engagement at SMK Negeri 5 Padang.

Abstract

Student discipline is a key factor in the success of education and character development in pesantren; however, violations disrupting order still frequently occur. This study aims to identify the strategies implemented at Pondok Pesantren Perkampungan Minangkabau to improve student discipline. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, involving observation, interviews, and document collection from the pesantren administrators, kyai, and students. The findings reveal that the pesantren applies the IQOB strategy, a form of punishment or penalty functioning as a means of self-evaluation and self-improvement, thereby fostering the growth of independent, disciplined, ethical, and responsible individuals. These findings provide a concrete depiction of disciplinary challenges in pesantren and demonstrate the effectiveness of the IQOB strategy in creating a more conducive learning environment. The study also opens opportunities for further research on unresolved issues related to discipline.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of a multimedia quality program to support the learning process in the Digital Education 5.0 era within the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Study Program (KPI) at Universitas KH. Mukhtar Syafaat (UIMSYA) Banyuwangi. This era demands a synergy between technology and humanistic values in higher education systems. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The findings indicate that the KPI Study Program at UIMSYA has implemented the multimedia quality program by utilizing a Learning Management System (LMS), integrating audiovisual media into courses, providing digital content production training for lecturers and students, and collaborating with local media for broadcasting practice. This implementation supports the achievement of Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL), enhances students’ digital competencies, and strengthens both online and offline learning interactions. Challenges faced include limited infrastructure, human resource capacity, and digital literacy gaps among students. Nonetheless, program evaluation is conducted regularly with strengthened interdisciplinary collaboration. The study recommends reinforcing a multimedia-based curriculum, increasing investment in educational technology, and developing local content as adaptive strategies to address the challenges of the Digital Education 5.0 era.
