Abstract

This article discusses the extensive academic practices of Hadith scholars. They undertook journeys to seek authentic or sahih Hadiths. The primary aim of this research is to safeguard the authenticity and originality of the Prophet's Hadiths. The method used is descriptive analysis, which explains the urgency of these scholarly activities. The scholarly tradition of Hadith search began during the time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), continued by his companions and the Tabi'in, and subsequent generations. Al-Baghdadi explains that their journeys had two main objectives: first, to ensure the highest sanad (chain of narration) and to hear directly from the Prophet (PBUH) himself; second, to meet, discuss, and learn from Hadith experts (huffâzh). Thus, this article provides a detailed description of how Hadith scholars from various generations made significant efforts to preserve the authenticity of Hadith, using descriptive analysis to illustrate the urgency of their scholarly activities in the ritual tradition of Hadith search.

Abstract

This research aims to see the influence of the Discovery Learning model on science learning outcomes in Class V of SD Negeri 03 Bandar Buat. The type of research in this research is Quasi Experimental using a pretest-posttest control group design. This research instrument is an objective test in the form of multiple choices. For initial data, analysis was used using the normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test. Based on the results of data analysis, the average value of the pretest results for the experimental class was 68.63 and the control class was 65.33. After being given treatment in the experimental class using the Discovery Learning model and the control class using the conventional approach, the average posttest result for the experimental class was 86.37 and the control class was 76.96. The results of data analysis from the hypothesis tests that have been carried out, obtained tcount 5.010 and ttable 2.006. This means that tcount > ttable, namely 5.010 > 2.006, then the hypothesis Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, namely that there is an influence of the Discovery Learning model on science and science learning in Class V SDN 03 Bandar Buat, Padang.

Abstract

This article explores the impact of integrating percussion activities into children's learning environments to enhance temporal lobe abilities. The temporal lobe, crucial for auditory processing and memory, plays a significant role in language development, music appreciation and social interaction. By engaging children in rhythmic exercises, such as drumming, clapping and rhythm-based games, educators can stimulate temporal lobe functions, fostering improved language acquisition, cognitive skills and social-emotional development. This article reviews current research on the neurological benefits of music and percussion on the developing brain, highlighting the potential of percussion activities as a valuable tool in educational settings. Additionally, practical strategies and considerations for implementing percussion activities in classrooms are discussed, emphasizing the importance of creating inclusive and engaging learning experiences for all children.

Abstract

Terrorism is an extreme activity that can take the lives of many people and is very detrimental to various parties. This study aims to conduct a critical analysis of hadiths that are often abused by terrorist groups to support acts of violence and terrorism. The research method used is a literature review with a content analysis approach to hadith texts as well as the interpretation of classical and contemporary scholars. This study found that the hadiths that are often used as justifications by terrorist groups actually have a different historical context and meaning than what is understood by the perpetrators of terrorism. By understanding the context and proper interpretation, these hadiths should teach peace, tolerance, and justice. The study also highlights the important role of Muslim scholars and scholars in providing a correct understanding of Islamic teachings to prevent the misuse of hadith in acts of violence. The findings of this research are expected to contribute to efforts to deradicalize and counter terrorism, as well as strengthen the understanding of Islam which is rahmatan lil 'alamin.

Abstract

This paper aims to reveal the methodology of Hadith literature writing in the 3rd century Hijri. The research method used is qualitative, gathering written data sources both primary from books and secondary from online digital sources, with a library research approach to facilitate the compilation of this article. The results of this study uncover that the methodology of Hadith literature writing that developed in the 3rd century Hijri includes the compilation of Al-Musnad books, As-Sahih books, and Al-Jami' books.

Abstract

This article explains the importance of Hadith research, specifically detailing its purpose and urgency. Hadith research is a deep and critical study of the text (matan) and chain of narration (sanad) of Hadiths, which is dynamic and employs certain methods to determine the validity of Hadith as a proof (hujjah) for the truth of Islamic teachings. The main issue in this study is the urgency of researching the sanad and matan of Hadiths as essential elements for determining the quality of a Hadith. To answer this question, this study uses a type of library research. The results of the research conclude that there are several legal urgencies underlying the importance of Hadith research: first, related to the position of Hadith as a source of Islamic law; second, related to the historicity of Hadith.

Abstract

This research investigates the use of the Canva application in improving students' understanding of Social Sciences in Elementary Schools. By using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study will involve classroom observations, as well as literature studies regarding students using Canva. The research results also show that Canva is effective in facilitating students' understanding of several social studies concepts through creative visualization. Students may also respond positively to using Canva, which indicates increased motivation and engagement in learning. However, there are challenges related to digital skills and access to technology. The implications of this research will at least highlight the importance of ongoing training for teachers and adequate technical support to optimize the use of Canva in primary education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of principal transformational leadership on teacher performance. Methods used are literature reviews. Transformational leadership is measured based on four main dimensions: charisma, inspiration, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration. Teacher performance was measured using indicators of attendance, teaching quality, professional development, and involvement in school activities. The regression analysis results show that principals’ transformational leadership has a positive and significant influence on teacher performance. Of the four dimensions of transformational leadership, the charisma and inspiration dimensions have the strongest influence on improving teacher performance. This study also found that intellectual stimulation and individualized consideration also contributed significantly, although on a smaller scale. The implication of these findings is that it is important for principals to apply transformational leadership style to improve teachers’ motivation and performance. Principals are advised to develop their leadership skills through training and self-development programs that focus on transformational aspects. Thus, it is expected that the quality of education in schools can be continuously improved.

Abstract

Education is a conscious effort made by humans to develop and shape humans according to their potential in order to improve the quality of their lives. Liberating education is education that gives students the freedom to grow and develop according to their nature. The implementation of education that liberates students is realized by Ki Hajar Dewantara in implementing the among system at Perguruan Taman Siswa. The among system implemented by Ki Hajar Dewantara is based on the principles of independence and humanity. The implementation of liberating education is also used by the Minister of Education in running the current education system. The form of implementation is in the form of an independent learning curriculum. Merdeka Belajar implement the student-centered education. Students are given the freedom to determine their learning goals. The curriculum of Merdeka Belajar creates learning practices that enable teachers and students to innovate and be creative freely according to their needs, so that students can learn according to their nature.

Abstract

This systematic literature review aims to examine the effect of using the WordWall application on student learning outcomes in Civic Education learning in elementary schools. This study was conducted by analyzing relevant research using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. Data were collected from various sources such as scientific journals, seminar proceedings, and research reports. The results of the analysis show that there is strong evidence that the use of the WordWall application can improve student learning outcomes in Civic Education learning in elementary schools.
