Abstract

Marriage is one of the important stages in a person's life according to Islamic teachings. In the context of educational psychology, marriage readiness involves psychological aspects such as emotional maturity, mental stability, independence, and an understanding of roles and responsibilities as a husband or wife. From the point of view of Islam, readiness for marriage also includes an understanding of spiritual values, religious responsibilities, and readiness to foster a harmonious household based on Islamic teachings. By understanding this perspective, it can help individuals in making the right decisions and preparing themselves well before entering the marriage bond. This study aims to determine the readiness to get married from the perspective of Islamic religious education psychology and to find out the factors of readiness for marriage. The research method carried out is using qualitative research methods with a literature model. The stages in analysing data are doing it by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The researcher reduces the literature on marriage readiness from the perspective of Islamic religious education psychology, then presents it systematically. The final stage is to draw conclusions from critical analysis. The result of this study is Don't get married just because you're in love. Marry because you believe that the paradise of Allah Almighty is nearer with him. Getting married is the longest worship, make sure you have the knowledge to carry it out. Getting married is easy, it's just that the mind complicates it because of the fears in marriage, especially in financial matters. Meanwhile, the factors that need to be prepared for moral, spiritual, physical, psychological and, material maturity.

Abstract

The Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum is a curriculum that needs to be emphasized on the process and results, where students learn it and then apply or apply it in their daily lives, both for the school environment, family, or for themselves. Education is an important thing for every individual, especially religious science education which is knowledge in understanding Islam, as a guide and guideline for life in the world. One way to understand Islam is to study the Qur'an and memorize it. Memorization is a process that requires time, perseverance, and patience. Memorization cannot be done instantly, except for servants who Allah has given ease in memorizing the Qur'an. This research has the objectives of 1) to find out the method of sabak, sabki, manzil in memorizing the Qur'an, and 2) to find out the implementation of the sabak, sabki, manzil and aisar methods in Ma'had 'Aly Imam Bukhari Putri. This type of research is field research with qualitative research methods. The results of the research, namely the sabak, sabki, and manzil methods, are curriculum development that has its own innovations and characteristics. The sabak, sabki, and manzil methods focus more on adding and improving the memorization of female students. Even so, the memorization and reading of female students are corrected, especially in the science of tajweed while the aisar method for female students who have readings that need to be improved from the basics.

Abstract

The most important developmental aspect in determining student success is social development. In fact, currently some elementary schools still do not understand the pattern of development of their students (Anisah & Hakam, 2022). In line with the previous statement, Syukri (2021) argues that teachers do not really understand the solution to overcome the shortcomings of their students. This is also felt in SDN Duri Kosambi 06 Pagi, teachers have not been able to understand the pattern of social development in children so that it hampers the learning process. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The population of this study were all students of SDN Duri Kosambi 06 Pagi. From the total population, researchers took samples using purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study were 30 students in class V. Based on observations, this is proven by the existence of several social problems for children, including (1) students are still reluctant to participate in group work activities; (2) students still often choose friends; (3) there are still students who are excluded; (4) students only want to work in groups with close friends; (5) students have not been able to express and share feelings with their peers; (6) students have not been able to take responsibility for their obligations; and so forth. The low social aspect needs attention from all parties.

Abstract

Quality human resources are those who are physically and mentally healthy. Efforts to develop quality and healthy human resources include implementing School Health Programs (UKS). Based on observations of the school environment and interviews with six respondents, including the principal of SDN Cipindoh 06 Kota Tangerang and five fourth and fifth-grade students, the results showed that most aspects of health and cleanliness in the school environment met the established standards. However, some aspects, such as the school library, prayer room, and bathrooms, did not meet the requirements, whereas other aspects were generally satisfactory. The UKS room met the standards, and the facilities and infrastructure were adequate, as was the UKS implementation team. However, the UKS at SDN Cipindoh 06 Kota Tangerang has not been operating optimally due to several factors: the UKS supervisor has been reassigned, resulting in no current supervisor, insufficient teacher participation in UKS training, lack of support and training from the health center, and limited exposure to information about UKS management. Interviews revealed that the six respondents indicated that health education and services, such as health counseling, cleanliness drives, and immunizations, were implemented at the school, but UKS management had not been maximized. In conclusion, while most aspects are met, some areas still require improvement.

Abstract

The age period between 6-12 years is a transition from pre-school to primary school (SD). This period is also known as the transition from early childhood to late childhood until just before pre-puberty. Physical growth develops rapidly and their health conditions improve. In addition to physical growth, there is also mental development of elementary school-age children that involves various important aspects affecting cognitive, emotional, and social development. The purpose of this article is to delve deeper into the Physical and Mental Development of Elementary School-Age Children. The type of research used in this study is a literature study (Library Research) with a qualitative research approach. The data collection technique used in this study is documentary study. The data sources used are books and journals related to the chosen topic. The data analysis used in this study is content analysis. The results obtained are the physical growth of elementary school-age children, namely a) the average during this period is 3-3.5 kg and 6 cm or 2.5 inches per year; b) head circumference grows only 2-3 cm during this period, indicating slow brain growth as the myelination process is complete at the age of 7 years; c) 6-year-old boys tend to weigh around 21 kg, approximately 1 kg heavier than girls. The mental development of elementary school-age children involves various important aspects that affect their cognitive, emotional, and social development. Piaget's cognitive development consists of several stages, namely: (1) Sensorimotor stage (0-2 years); (2) Preoperational (2-7 years); (3) Concrete operational (7-11 years); and (4) Formal operation (11-15 years). Emotional development is also very important in a child's development. This emotional development will go hand in hand with the child's social development.

Abstract

Abdullah Nashih Ulwan and Ahmad Hassan are prominent thinkers in Islamic education who have long been involved in the field. Many of their works have been translated into Indonesian and can be studied and used as references. According to both, the concept of good education is one that produces children who are obedient and diligent in carrying out Allah's commands and avoiding His prohibitions, based on Islamic values, and embracing Islam as their religion. They also emphasize that the foundation of all educational activities should be the Qur'an and Hadith rather than other sources. They advocate for a curriculum that is integrated and comprehensive, with the Qur'an and Hadith as the primary sources in its formulation. The thoughts of Abdullah Nashih Ulwan and Ahmad Hassan are highly relevant to contemporary education, aiming to create education with the primary goal of fostering students to embrace monotheism, derive all sources from Islamic teachings, and cultivate students' morals so that their interactions do not deviate from Islamic guidance.

Abstract

Psychology as a science is currently influenced by Western scientific concepts. Islamic psychology examines the psychological phenomena of humans based on the sources of Islamic teachings, namely the Qur'an, Sunnah, and the thoughts of Muslim scholars and philosophers. This article discusses the history of Islamic educational psychology, which is divided into two periods, classical and modern, and explores the foundations of Islamic educational psychology. The classical period (7th to 13th century) features contributions from prominent figures such as Al-Kindi, Al-Farabi, Ibn Sina, Al-Ghazali, and Ibn Arabi. The modern period (19th century to present) includes significant contributions from figures like Muhammad Iqbal, Malik Badri, Abdul Hamid Abu Sulayman, and Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas. The article also highlights the broad scope of Islamic psychology, covering various aspects of human life, and emphasizes its integration with modern scientific knowledge and Islamic values to address psychological issues.

Abstract

Education is one of the sources of learning that can add knowledge and insight for each individual. A teacher in carrying out learning activities needs innovation in terms of learning methods, strategies, and others. So, students' learning activities do not feel bored. Learning that uses only one method can make students feel bored. So teachers need to provide some variation in the learning model given to students. The purpose of this study is 1) to find out the various innovative learning models, 2) to find out the advantages and disadvantages of each learning model, and 3) to find out examples of the implementation of each learning model. This study uses a qualitative research method with a literature model. The stages in analyzing data are doing it by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The researcher reduced the literature on the learning model, then presented it systematically. The final stage is to draw conclusions from critical analysis. The results of this research are that there are four innovative learning models, namely cooperative, contextual, problem-based, and project-based.

Abstract

Therapeutic dawah communication among public figures is an increasingly prominent phenomenon in the digital era. Public figures, including artists and celebrities, leverage their popularity and influence to convey religious and moral messages to a wide audience. This therapeutic dawah focuses not only on spreading religious teachings but also on providing emotional and psychological support to their followers. By utilizing social media platforms, public figures can reach millions of followers directly, creating personal and deep interactions. The essence of therapeutic dawah communication among public figures includes attention, role modeling, relevance, inclusiveness, and personalization. Public figures can capture the attention of many people and set themselves as positive examples. Their use of modern language and communication styles makes their dawah relevant and easily accepted by various groups, especially the younger generation. An inclusive approach and universal messages help reduce stigma and strengthen interfaith tolerance. Furthermore, personalizing dawah messages based on the public figure’s personal experiences makes the messages more authentic and inspiring. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness and impact of therapeutic dawah communication carried out by public figures. By employing case study methods, content analysis, and library research, this research will explore how public figures utilize digital platforms for dawah and the psychological impact on their followers. The results of this study are expected to provide new insights into modern dawah strategies and their contribution to the mental and spiritual health of the community.

Abstract

Contemporary Islamic Education (PAI) plays a pivotal role in shaping the character, morality, and spirituality of individuals, particularly within the learning context for students of the Professional Teacher Education Program (PPG). In the contemporary era marked by globalization dynamics, technological advancements, and cultural pluralism, it is crucial for PPG students to comprehend and apply Islamic concepts within the evolving zeitgeist. The scope of contemporary PAI for PPG students encompasses various aspects, ranging from understanding the Quran and Hadith in modern life contexts to the utilization of technology in religious education. Additionally, topics such as Islamic ethics, character education, and Islamic-based classroom management are pivotal focuses in nurturing quality teaching professionalism. This abstract aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the contemporary PAI scope for PPG students and the significance of integrating Islamic values with the challenges and opportunities posed in modern education. Through a holistic and innovative approach, it is envisaged that PPG students can become agents of change, capable of inspiring future generations with relevant and inclusive Islamic values.
