Abstract

This research examines the cultural impact of the Gayo saman dance on the Islamic tradition in Titi Village. This type of research is field research (research in the field) which is a research carried out by collecting data by research at locations where there are symptoms that will be examined to find facts found in society. The results of this study are that the Saman Gayo dance choreography is not an ordinary dance work, but Saman is a dance that contains basic Islamic concepts symbolized through rhythm, movement, poetry, floor patterns, clothing, stages of performance, purpose of offerings. From the choreography produced, it can be seen that the Saman Dance is a symbol of the Gayo tribe in carrying out Islamic law in their daily lives, so that the Saman Dance is synonymous with Islam and in accordance with the customary system in Acehnese society, namely "adat with syaraad, syaraq with Kitabullah". This statement becomes clear by looking at the performance of the Saman dance itself, which was originally an activity of the Gayo people in taking advantage of the time between their breaks by playing a game which was later called pok ane. This game later became a medium for spreading the teachings of Islam, especially in the Gayo Lues highlands. The lyrics mean advice, religious advice, rules that guide life, and so on. This dance is a symbol of brotherhood, education, religion, courtesy, heroism, cohesiveness, and togetherness. Through the Saman dance, the community is taught to behave according to politeness in Islam which is also in accordance with the customs that apply to the Gayo tribe.

Abstract

The accuracy of the assessments carried out by schools, especially those related to class assessments, expresses the desire for student learning outcomes. For a teacher, the use of assessment tools is very important during the evaluation process. Starting from the assessment of the selection instrument, the preparation instrument, the review instrument, the implementation of the assessment, the analysis of the results of the assessment, and the follow-up program on the results of the assessment. This article uses the library research method, namely by collecting data related to the title of the research discussion. In this study the data collected from several sources were used, including scientific journals, research results in the form of theses, and the internet. Competence is often used to indicate one's qualifications or abilities. Knowledge assessment can be called cognitive assessment, which is a process for obtaining and using knowledge possessed by students in experiencing a process of change in learning, which consists of: recognizing, remembering, creating, and understanding material. given by their teacher during learning. The main purpose of this cognitive assessment is to find out the target in measuring the level of mastery of students about the competencies that have been achieved in the knowledge aspect. Knowledge assessment is carried out using various assessment techniques The techniques commonly used are written tests, oral tests, and assignments. The learning outcomes are when a person has learned to experience a change in behavior in that person, for example from those who do not know to know, and from those who do not understand to understand. Assessment is very necessary in learning process. Assessment instruments are very important in measuring student learning outcomes. Teachers use assessment tools, which include assessment of selection instruments, preparation instruments, study instruments, implementation of assessments, analysis of assessment results, and follow-up of assessment results. Abstract

Assessment tries to determine whether or not educational goals are achieved, so that assessment plays a very important role in the world of education. Each subject emphasizes continuous assessment related to holistic goals and outcomes. This study aims to determine the results of the process of compairing learning outcomes using objective tests and those using subjective tests, because the use of tests greatly influences student learing outcomes and how efficiently the test results are used against students’ abilities in mastering the material. From teaching materials. The method used is library research. A number of references are based on assessments of cognitive learning outcomes from books, journals, and related government regulatory documents. The results of the study show that based on several references to journals and books that the author has collected from various sources, it can be concludes that objective tests and subjective tests have the same use if they are correct ini selectibg questions. Because there are students who do not concentrate in the daily learning process, so that in objective tests student can choose answers with conjecture guessing techniques. While this subjective test can train students’ mindsets, can develop their knowledge, can train children to arrage words into appropriate senteces and can help children to improve the assessment of learning outcomes

Abstract

At the elementary school education level, which is generally children aged 6-12 years, learning activities that produce works of art have an impact on student learning progress, one of which is making collage art. Grade 1 students are often interested in and exposed to various types of transportation, such as land, water and air transportation. Therefore, choosing transportation images as the theme of the collage can provide direct relevance to their lives. The purpose of this study was to find out the visual elements of a transportation theme collage made by first grade students at SDN Karangrejo 02 Semarang. This study uses Qualitative Research, because researchers observe, analyze, and interpret an object to be examined using interview, observation and documentation methods. Test the validity of the data using a triangulation technique that is used to test the credibility of the data. The results of the research carried out were that the results of the collage work of class I students at SDN Karangrejo 02 Semarang totaling sixteen students with pictures of transportation equipment made of paper, the results of the student collage work were many who were good at making collages, but there were still students who were not neat in pasting, there are still many students who miss the drawing line. Some students may not have fully mastered their fine motor skills, so they have difficulty controlling their hand movements precisely. So with that it is very important to provide proper guidance and training to students through repetition of exercises and supportive approaches, students can improve their skills in pasting pictures neatly.

Abstract

Evaluation includes measuring and assessing. The process of evaluating the process of student growth in the teaching and learning process. Each student has abilities that vary from fast, medium and slow. Before doing things that need to be considered are evaluation, evaluation, and evaluation. However, now teachers pay less attention to this matter and many teachers manipulate student grades. The consequences of manipulating grades will be bad for students.The research method used in gathering information was by using the observation method and conducting interviews with the school principal at SD Muhammadiyah 35.. The results showed that the obstacles encountered during the assessment were the assessment of attitudes, skills, and also how to describe grades on report cards. Efforts to overcome these obstacles are hoping that the scope of the assessment is expected to be minimized. And teachers hope that the Government will provide deeper training to teachers who do not understand the 2013 Curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate leraning to read Indonesian beginning in class II at Pondok Kacang Timur 03 Elementary School. This research uses a descriptive evaluation method with a qualitative approach. The data collected includes interviews with teachers and students, observation of evaluation activities. The results showed that the evaluation of early reading learning in the school used an outcome evaluation which consisted of formative and summative evaluations. Formative evaluation is carried out through oral tests, while summative evaluation is carried out through objective tests. Process evaluation is carried out t review the planning, implementation, and management of the learning process. Evaluation of students reading development is divided into process evaluation and product evaluation. Evaluation of learning outcomes inludes cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. This study provides an overview of the evaluation of early reading learning in grade II at Pondok Kacang Timur Elementary School and can be used as a basis for improving the process of learning to read at that school.

Abstract

The study is conducted aimed at getting information on the teacher's attitude assessment of the 2013 curriculum learning process at SDN GINTUNG 1. the approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. This qualitative approach is used to describe, explain, and dig up anything related to the study. Data collection techniques in this study using observation and interviews. Data is analyzed using inductive logic, that is, from specific to general. The conclusion of this study shows that teachers give assessments of students' attitudes in the 2013 learning process at SDN GINTUNG 1 where the teacher's challenges to assessing students' attitudes in the 2013 learning process at SDN GINTUNG 1 are time constraints, the large number of students in one class and the difficulty of directing students to instill good attitudes according to the purpose of learning. The efforts of teachers in overcoming the assessing difficulties of students' attitudes in the 2013 learning process in the way of observing or observing students' attitudes during the learning process, discussions with student parents, coordination with other teachers, and asking with other students and also creating purposeful media.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the evaluation of the learning process at the elementary school level. An effective learning process can improve the quality of education. However, evaluation is often ignored by educators, who focus on implementing learning only. Improper assessment and falsifying value evaluations can have a negative impact on learners and the overall quality of education. Therefore, this study uses a qualitative approach and literature study methods. Data were collected from various literature sources related to learning evaluation at the elementary school level. Data analysis was performed using content analysis techniques to hide information, provide explanations, and draw conclusions. The results of the study show that evaluation plays an important role in obtaining valid data about students' abilities. The data becomes the basis for making decisions related to learning and assessing the quality of teaching. Creativity and high motivation from educators are needed to create an interesting learning process for students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out: To find out science learning activities using the SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) method for class IX.G students of SMP Negeri 2 Mataram. To find out the increase in science learning outcomes using the SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) method for class IX.G students of SMP Negeri 2 Mataram. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR), using two cycles through the planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. As subjects in this study were class IX.G students for the 2021/2022 academic year with a total of 35 students, consisting of 16 male students and 19 female students. The results of this study indicate that: The SQ3R (Survey Question Read Recite Review) learning model strategy in science learning in the initial conditions was 68.57 with an average of 80.37 and in the first cycle the students' classical learning mastery was 82.86% with an average score average 83.91. In cycle II the classical student mastery was 100% with an average value of 91.29. Thus the SQ3R (Survey Question Read Recite Review) strategy in learning science can effectively improve student learning outcomes in class VII.I SMP Negeri 2 Mataram in science subjects. Student activity in learning with the SQ3R strategy (Survey Question Read Recite Review) in science learning in cycle I obtained a score of 65.00 with a score of 26 in the good category. In the activities of questions, reciting, presenting the results of group learning and concluding learning outcomes are included in the sufficient category, while the activity of answering questions through group discussions is still in the less category. The deficiencies that existed in cycle I were corrected in cycle II. Acquisition of student activity scores in cycle II increased to 33 in the very good category, with a value of 87.50. In cycle II students were able to carry out SQ3R (Survey Question Read Recite Review) activities in science learning well. Teacher activity in science learning with the SQ3R strategy (Survey Question Read Recite Review) in cycle I was 68.57% (fairly good category) and experienced an increase in cycle II of 85.71% (very good category).

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the increase in activity and achievement of class VIII.H students of Mataram 2 Public Middle School in writing creative poetry with the application of media images. This Classroom Action Research uses two cycles with each cycle implementation covering (a) planning action (planning), (b) implementing action (acting), (c) observing (observing), (d) reflecting (reflecting). While the research procedure includes the steps: (1) preparation, (2) initial study/survey, (3) implementation of the cycle, and (4) preparation of reports. The results of data analysis showed that the activities and achievements of class VIII.H SMP Negeri 2 Mataram in writing creative poetry increased. Researchers took action in three cycles, in cycle I it was seen that the percentage of student test scores reached 78%. This shows that students have not fully achieved learning mastery. Whereas in cycle II the percentage of student tests has increased to 94%. This shows that there is an increase in the percentage of student learning completeness. This increase was partly due to an increase in students' motivation and creativity in learning. This indicates an increase in learning outcomes in creative poetry writing material in Indonesian lessons. Although basically the use of media images in learning is not the only method that can be used in Indonesian subjects, this method can help students understand the material for writing creative poetry. However, this also needs to be supported by the willingness of students to study poetry more actively so that it can be applied in everyday life. Based on the results obtained by students in cycle II, this research was declared successful in achieving the research objectives to be achieved.
