Abstract

In Indonesia, there are five recognized religions, including Islam and Buddhism. Both of these religions believe in the end of life or death. However, each religion has different teachings in providing guidance for life to its people. Likewise in matters of charity and worship. This research raises the issue of how the essence of life and death is the view of Islam and Buddhism. The discussion of this thesis uses theological approach method. Researchers used a descriptive qualitative research method with a comparative theory approach (comparison). The result of this study is that death in Buddhism and Islam has differences. In Buddhism, it means the end of the life of the human organs with the destruction of the body or body, while in Islam, death is a separation between the spirit and the body. Regarding the nature of death, Buddhism and Islam have the same meaning. In essence death is the process of moving humans from one realm to another, but both are different about nature. In the view of Buddhism and Islam, life after death is the revival of humans to continue life in order to achieve the desired goals. In Buddhism, that goal is the attainment of happiness in the form of eternal nibhanna. Meanwhile, what Islam wants to achieve is happiness in the form of eternal heavenly pleasures and this can be achieved with the good pleasure of Allah.

Abstract

Kuta Tinggi Village, Badar District, Southeast Aceh Regency is a village whose people still maintain and uphold customs and religion highly. Every time there is an event, they still carry out the Customs. Like the Pangeri tradition (plain flour) where this tradition is still carried out at weddings and apostle circumcision. Especially during weddings for the bride, some carry out the Pangeri tradition by violating Islamic law, such as not wearing the headscarf and shaking hands with those who are not mahrams, but it can be underlined that most people are still unfamiliar with such things, for those who understand religion it is impossible not to wearing headscarves etc. so that the writer is interested in researching the views of community leaders and religious scholars on the Pangeri Tradition in terms of the study of religions. The research method used by the author is a qualitative method of the Field Research type with the Phenomenology of Religion approach using symbolic interaction theory. Sources of data generated by the author is from the results of interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study show that the views of the community and religious scholars towards the Pangeri tradition are well done and there are no harm as long as we do it the right way and do not violate Islamic law.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Assimilation of Javanese and Batak Culture in Batu Tiga Belas Village, Dolok Masihul District, Tengah Bedagai Regency". Assimilation occurs when there are groups of people with different cultural backgrounds interacting directly intensively for a long time. The result of the assimilation process is the thinning of the boundaries between individuals to identify themselves with common interests. That is, adjusting his will with the group. The same goes for one group to another. The formulation of the problem in this study are: 1. What is meant by cultural assimilation? 2. How do people view the assimilation of Javanese and Batak cultural marriages? This study aims to determine the assimilation of Javanese and Batak culture in Batu Tiga Belas Village, Dolok Masihul District, to determine the influence of Javanese and Batak cultural assimilation in Batu Tiga Belas Village, Dolok Masihul District, to increase knowledge for students of the Study of Religions in assimilation between two different tribes. different. The research method used by researchers is an anthropological approach. The findings of this study are: first, there is a change in language, second, there is transmigration of Javanese people to the majority Batak environment because of work in Batu Tiga Belas Village, katiga, there is education outside the village then meets other cultures and adapts, causing marriage.

Abstract

The goal to be achieved from this research is to find out Increasing Interest and Learning Outcomes of Indonesian Language through the Application of Study Groups for Class IX.A Students of SMP Negeri 17 Mataram in the Academic Year 2022/2023. This research is a classroom action research. The subjects in this study were 32 students of class IX.A SMP Negeri 17 Mataram with 20 male students and 14 female students. Data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, and tests. Observations are used to collect data on learning interest. The test is used to measure learning achievement in Indonesian subjects. Data analysis used is descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative. The increase in students' cognitive learning outcomes before and after the implementation of group learning at SMP Negeri 17 Mataram can be seen from the percentage gain of each indicator, namely: The average value of the initial data students obtained 74.10% increased to 77.69 in cycle I and obtained 82.84 in cycle II. While students who completed the data were 17 people then obtained 25 in cycle I and experienced an increase to 30 people in cycle II with each classical completeness obtained initial data from 64.10 to 78.13 in cycle I and increased to 193.75 in cycle II, this shows that all the indicators expected by the researcher on the reading ability of grade I students were successfully achieved. Lesson planning carried out by the teacher increased from 75.00% in cycle I and 85.00% in cycle II. So the lesson planning carried out by the teacher is very good. While the implementation of learning carried out by the teacher also experienced an increase from 79.17% in cycle I to 87.50% in cycle II. So the implementation of learning carried out by the teacher has also increased. Student learning activities that the average percentage in the first cycle is 80.00%. But in cycle II, student learning activities increased to 90.00%. So student learning activities in learning Indonesian are very good.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the increase in students' critical thinking and opinions through the Examples non examples method for science subjects in Class IV.A of SD Negeri 1 Ampenan in the 2021/2022 academic year. This research consists of two cycles. The data collection instruments in this study were teacher performance observation sheets, student activity, and evaluation questions at the end of each cycle. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that there has been an increase in teacher performance and student activity by applying the examples and non-examples methods for each cycle. In cycle I, teacher performance only reached 75.00% and for cycle II it increased to a good category with a percentage of 90.63%. In observing student learning activities also seen an increase in each cycle. This can be shown in cycle I which reached 72.50% which was in the sufficient category and cycle II increased to 87.50% in the good category. The results of observing teacher performance and student activities have consistently increased, followed by an increase in learning outcomes. The student completeness score on the results of the evaluation of conditions before the action with a percentage of 60.00% and in cycle I was in the good category with a percentage of 76.00%. Then for the results of the evaluation in cycle II, the student completeness score increased to 100% in the very good category. So the results of learning science subject students of class IV.A SD Negeri 1 Ampenan can be improved by applying examples and non-examples methods.

Abstract

The objectives to be achieved through this research activity are: To find out that the demonstration method can improve speaking skills in learning Indonesian for class V.B students at SD Negeri 7 Cakranegara for the 2021/2022 academic year. The subjects of this study were 25 class VI.A students at SD Negeri 7 Cakranegara, consisting of 14 female students and 11 male students. The stages of this research include: (1) planning, (2) implementing actions, (3) observing, and (4) reflecting in each cycle. The result of the research is that the demonstration method can improve the speaking skills of class V.B students at SD Negeri 7 Cakranegara. This is supported by the increase in the average learning outcomes from pre-action by 56.00% to 76.00% in cycle I, increasing to 100 in cycle II at the end of learning to speak. The achievement of the average score in cycle II shows that students have met the minimum completeness criteria of 75. Research to improve students' speaking skills using the demonstration method has yielded results in the form of changes in students who were initially hesitant when practicing to be more daring in practice. The mistakes made by students have also decreased. Students also become more active in learning to speak. The activeness of students in learning activities is marked by an increase in student activity in asking, giving opinions and responding to the example of the presenter as well as increasing student confidence when advancing to practice in front of the class. Students have been able to practice speaking well and meet the criteria as skilled at speaking.

Abstract

The focus of the research that will be tested in the study are: 1) The process of memorizing the Qur'an at MITTQUM 2) the application of methods for memorizing the Qur'an at MITTQUM 3) Factors supporting and hindering the Tahfidz Program. This study aims to describe the Qur'an memorization method applied by MI Tahfidzul Qur'an Integrated Al Ma'shum Surakarta and the constraints and supporting factors for the tahfidz program. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The research subjects are teachers and students. Collecting data using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study found that the method of memorizing the Koran applied at MI Tahfidzul Qur'an Integrated Al Ma'shum Surakarta is the Halaqoh, Talqin and Muroja'ah methods. Factors supporting the Koran memorization program are conducive learning spaces, effective methods, competent teachers, rewards and support from parents who help the process of memorizing children at home and environmental factors. While the inhibiting factors are children who play or are sleepy in memorizing activities, long verses and busy parents so they don't have time to repeat the children's memorization at home.

Abstract

Understanding the socio-cultural context is key to developing the right support system for distance learners. The socio-cultural context in Turkey is an important element in the development of Turkish distance education programs, where the two elements of Turkish cultural patronage and oral tradition - seem to play an important role. The main objective of this study was to determine the role of the socio-cultural context in designing appropriate support services and improving interaction in the Turkish Distance Education System, namely, the Faculty of Open Education (OEF). The study first introduces the OEF technology and socio-cultural context then presents to consider the influence of those contexts in designing appropriate support services and enhancing interactions; and finally provide several suggestions to improve student support and interaction in accordance with the prevailing socio-cultural context.

Abstract

The problem of this research is what is the role of ustadz ustadzah in implementing the tahfidz program to improve the ability to read and memorize the Qur'an for young children at the Integrated Tahfidz Al Qur'an Al Ma'shum Surakarta Madrasah Ibtidaiyah? The type of research conducted is descriptive research which is then carried out using the CSR (Case Study Research) strategy and the focus or core of this research is to see and find out how the role of the ustadzah in carrying out their duties, roles and functions is as a facilitator, manager, mentor and evaluator. Then for the types of data that exist in this study are data in the form of primary data and secondary data, while the information obtained is data collected from observations in the field and also interviews with informants. The informants selected by the researchers included: Ustadz / Ustadzah (Educators) from the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Integrated Tahfidz Al Qur'an Al Ma'shum Surakarta (Ustadzah who teaches Tahfidz in grade 1), while for data obtained through observation, observations were made, namely in class 1.

Abstract

The research discusses a Bekarang Ikan tradition which is a former culture of fishing in swamps and rice field waters by the Batanghari community during the dry season. This tradition and culture has become a hereditary activity and is also part of the livelihood of the community which is still carried out today. In their activities, people go down to the swamp or rice field waters together using makeshift tolls, such as trawls, wounds, nets and the like. These traditions and cultures become a source of refence and ideas that try to be visualized in the form of dance movements, which describe a tradition and culture of the community. Mutual cooperation, joy, and gratitude are reflected in this tradition and culture.
