Abstract

The purpose of this research is 1) To find out how the implementation of differentiated learning at SMAN 2 Gunung Talang Solok Regency. 2) To find out the obstacles experienced by teachers in the Independent Curriculum Geography subject in class X SMAN 2 Gunung Talang Solok Regency. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The informants in this study were the principal, teachers and students of class X phase E. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study used the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data display and verification. The results of this study concluded that 1) The application of differentiated learning is very effective to be applied in the classroom as evidenced by the increased interest in learning and student learning outcomes and all stages in the application of differentiated learning from the pre-implementation, implementation and evaluation stages have gone well and all aspects of differentiated learning have been implemented well by geography teachers. But in its implementation there are still some things that need to be maximized again. 2) The problems encountered such as the lack of time in its implementation because each school has allocated time for each teacher and their respective subjects. So that teachers do not have enough time in implementing differentiated learning and limited resources because differentiated learning is still new in its application arises because of the independent curriculum.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze whether there is a positive and significant influence of academic self-efficacy on the learning outcomes of geography phase F of SMA Negeri 1 Linggo Sari Baganti, Pesisir Selatan Regency. The type of research used is quantitative research with a correlational approach. The location of the study was at SMA Negeri 1 Linggo Sari Baganti, Pesisir Selatan Regency. The research period was April 22 to May 22. The population in this study were students of phase F who taught geography subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Linggo Sari Baganti, Pesisir Selatan Regency. The number of samples was 97 people using the total sampling technique. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, surveys, and documentation records. The data analysis procedure technique in this study used validity tests, reliability tests, descriptive statistical analysis, normality tests, linearity tests and hypothesis tests. The results of this study concluded that 1) There is a significant relationship between academic self-efficacy and student learning outcomses at phase F of SMA Negeri 1 Linggo Sari Baganti, Pesisir Selatan Regency as indicated by a significant correlation level value of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05. This means that the academic self-efficacy variable has an effect on the learning outcome variable. 2) The academic self-efficacy of students in phase F of SMA Negeri 1 Linggo Sari Baganti Pesisir Selatan as a whole is in the low classification, which can be seen from the pie chart and the academic self- efficacy percentage table. 3) The learning outcomes of students in phase F of SMA Negeri 1 Linggo Sari Baganti as a whole are in the context of the less group, based on the calculation of the pie chart and the Learning Outcome Criteria (KKTP) table set by the school.

Abstract

Buku bergulir’s program implemented in Nagari Saok Laweh, Kubung District, Solok Regency is no longer as effective as it once was. One of the contributing factors is that the program was halted during the COVID-19 pandemic and only resumed in 2022. This has led to several changes, prompting a study aimed at describing the evaluation results of the buku bergulir’s program using the context, input, process, and product (CIPP) model to improve reading literacy in the community of Nagari Saok Laweh. This research is a qualitative study employing a descriptive method. Informants were selected using the snowball sampling method. Data collection was conducted through interviews and documentation. The data validation technique used in this study is triangulation. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that (1) the context evaluation of the buku bergulir’s program is highly relevant and necessary in Nagari Saok Laweh, as the program addresses the need for quality reading materials and has great potential to improve community literacy; (2) based on the input evaluation, it was found that the program is supported by competent human resources, adequate reading materials, an efficient distribution system, and strong support from the government and the community; (3) the process evaluation of the buku bergulir’s program in Nagari Saok Laweh shows positive results, with excellent community participation and high enthusiasm; (4) through product evaluation, it was found that the buku bergulir’s program has successfully increased literacy, reading interest, and the quality of life in the community.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the Problem Based Learning learning model in improving students' critical thinking skills in Islamic Religious Education subjects. This study aims to examine: 1) Planning the PBL model in improving students' critical thinking skills in Islamic Religious Education subjects in class 5B SDN 05 Batu Bajanjang. 2) Implementation of the PBL model in improving students' critical thinking skills in Islamic Religious Education subjects in class 5B SDN 05 Batu Bajanjang. 3) eval_uation of the PBL model in improving students' critical thinking skills in Islamic Religious Education subjects in class 5B SDN 05 Batu Bajanjang. The method used in this study is qualitative with a case study type. The research implementation period was from July to August 2024. The research data obtained by the researcher through interviews with Islamic Religious Education teachers, 5 students of class 5B and the principal of SDN 05 Batu Bajanjang as well as observations made during classroom learning with the material Loving Orphans and also supported by documentation. After that, the data was analyzed and tested for validity using source and technique triangulation. The results of the study showed that: 1) The planning of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in Islamic Religious Education subjects in improving students' critical thinking skills in the material Loving Orphans in class 5B of SDN 05 Batu Bajanjang was guided by the RPP. 2) At the stage of implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, the teacher had fulfilled the PBL syntax, namely problem orientation towards students, organizing students, guiding individual and group investigations, developing and presenting work results, analyzing and eval_uating the problem-solving process. 3) eval_uation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model shows that Islamic Religious Education teachers do not use observation sheets to assess students' discussion results, teachers use written tests of essay practice questions where the form of questions given already meets the HOTS question criteria, so that it has been well tested regarding the increase in students' critical thinking skills during the PBL learning process in class 5B SDN 05 Batu Bajanjang.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze implementation of Maqomah as a development of Quran and Hadith learning materials at Madrasah Aliyyah Al-Falah Nagreg. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. The study will be conducted at Madrasah Aliyyah Al-Falah Nagreg and will involve an initial literature review to understand the theories and concepts underpinning the research. Subsequently, the research will go through several phases, including preparation, data collection through classroom observations, interviews with teachers and students, and analysis of documents and teaching materials. The data obtained will be analyzed using qualitative text analysis techniques. This research aims to provide a deeper understanding of the application of Maqomah in Quran and Hadith learning at Madrasah Aliyyah Al-Falah Nagreg and its impact on student understanding. The research findings are expected to provide valuable insights into the use of this method in the context of Islamic education in madrasah. Thus, this research can make a significant contribution to improving the quality of religious education in an Islamic educational environment.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the extent of the relationship between student’s perceptions of teachers’ pedagogical competence and the geography learning outcomes of class XI IPS students at MAN 2 Padang Panjang City. This type of research includes quantitative correlational research. The population in this study was class XI IPS Students in Man 2 Padang Panjang City for the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 89 students. The sampling teachnique used was proportional random sampling with a proportion of 10% and a sample of 67 students was obtained. Data analysis uses descriptive data tests, analytical requirements tests with calculations using Exel and SPSS 23.0 formulas.

Abstract

The Syattariyah Order became well-known in the late 18th century, introduced in Sumatra by Abdur Rauf of Singkil, Aceh (1605-1693). One of his disciples, titled Sheikh Burhanuddin, brought it to Ulakan in the second half of the 17th century, and it continued to spread to various Islamic boarding schools in Minangkabau. This study aims to explore and analyze the process of integrating the curriculum based on the Syattariyah Order at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Yaqin Ringan-Ringan. The Syattariyah Order is one of the orders focused on teaching Sufism and Islamic spirituality. By integrating these teachings into the pesantren's curriculum, it is expected to shape students' character to be not only academically excellent but also to have strong spiritual and moral depth. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews with the pesantren caretakers, teachers, and students, and document analysis related to the curriculum and teachings of the Syattariyah Order. The results of the study indicate that this curriculum integration is carried out through various activities such as regular religious lectures, recitation of wirid and dhikr, and other spiritual practices adapted to the teachings of the Syattariyah Order. In conclusion, the integration of the Syattariyah Order-based curriculum at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Yaqin Ringan-Ringan provides positive contributions to the spiritual and moral development of students, although it requires adjustments and deep understanding from all related parties. This research recommends further support from related institutions and training for teachers to strengthen the implementation of this curriculum.

Abstract

TPQ Jannatul Mukmin Mosque is one of the Qur'anic educational institutions located in Kubu Dalam Parak Karakah Village, East Padang District which was established in 1984. The purpose of this study is to describe how the planning, implementation, and eval_uation of the strategy of the head of TPQ in improving the quality of Qur'an education at the TPQ Jannatul Mukmin Mosque Kubu Dalam Parak Karakah East Padang. The research method used in this study is qualitative with the type of case study research. In this study, structured interviews were conducted with the research subjects, namely the principal, the teacher of Qur'an Education and the homeroom teacher of grade IV TPQ of the Jannatul Mukmin Mosque of Kubu Dalam Parak Karakah East Padang. The collection techniques used are interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman Model data analysis, and the validity of the data was tested using data triangulation. The results of the study show that the strategy of the head of TPQ in improving the quality of Qur'an education at the TPQ of the Jannatul Mukmin Mosque in the Karakah Parak Padang Timur through several stages, namely; 1) Strategic planning of the head of TPQ includes; annual, semester, monthly, weekly and daily program plans in accordance with the vision and mission of TPQ Jannatul Mukmin Mosque; 2) The implementation of the strategy of the head of TPQ has carried out TPQ activities through mobilization, encouragement and guidance to all human resources and personnel in TPQ, properly and directed in accordance with the TPQ program both annual, semester, monthly, weekly, and daily, which is based on the standardization of religious education; 3) eval_uation of the strategy of the head of TPQ in several stages, namely; The eval_uation carried out at the beginning is a tool to anticipate the existence of obstacles and obstacles as well as deviations from the standards and objectives that have been prepared. All eval_uations have been carried out by the head of TPQ as appropriate. Therefore, the strategy implemented by the Head of the TPQ of the Jannatul Mukmin Mosque can be used by other TPQ heads in improving the quality of Qur'an education in TPQ while still paying attention to the characteristics of each TPQ.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning motivation of class V students at SDN 05 Batu Taba. This type of research is correlational research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study was all 20 class V students at SDN 05 Batu Taba. The sampling technique used is a saturated sampling technique, where all members of the population are sampled. Data collection techniques include questionnaires, tests, documentation. The results of the research show that there is no positive relationship between learning motivation and Pancasila education learning outcomes for class V students at SDN 05 Batu Taba, Tanah Datar Regency. This is proven by the calculated t value being smaller than the t table, namely 1.54 < 1.734 so that H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected.

Abstract

SMKS Dhuafa Padang equips students with entrepreneurial knowledge and skills through the subject of Creativity Products and Entrepreneurship (PKK) However, students' interest in entrepreneurship is still low. This study examines the factors behind it, such as the increasingly narrow job opportunities, Entrepreneurship can create jobs, PKK has an influence on the entrepreneurial spirit, Entrepreneurship learning has an important role in increasing students' entrepreneurial interest. This study uses a quantitative correlational type to determine the relationship between PKK and Entrepreneurial Interest. Data collected in the form of numbers and analyzed using statistics. The research method used is associative quantitative, which aims to determine the influence and relationship between PKK and Entrepreneurial Interest. The study found that PKK has a relationship with students' interest in entrepreneurship at SMKS Dhuafa Padang. This is evidenced through the T test and F test, where the value of Sig. 0.05 and the value of tcount ttable (in the T test) and the value of fcount ftable (in the F test) indicate a relationship. In conclusion, PKK proved to play an important role in increasing students' interest in entrepreneurship, with 29.2% influenced by PKK and the rest by other factors.
