Abstract

Personality is a complete set of attitudes, behaviors, thoughts, feelings and values that influence individuals to do things according to their environment. In addition, personality is often interpreted as a prominent trait in a person, for example, a person who has a friendly nature will be a person with a "friendly personality". Personality theory is a combination of teleological and causal views. Human behavior is determined not only by individual racial histories (causality), but also by individual goals and aspirations (teleology). This study aims to determine the personality side possessed by S students at MAN 1 ACEH southeast, using the personality theory according to Carl Gustav Jung.

Abstract

This study examines the application of the inquiry strategy in learning Islamic religious education. This type of qualitative research, the method of literature seen by the authors from various journals, theses and books. The results of the conclusions obtained regarding learning the application of inquiry strategies in learning Islamic religious education are very significant. because it can make students active in finding and understanding the material being studied through preparatory steps, stimulus, problem identification, collecting data, data processing, proof, drawing conclusions so that students can truly understand the material.

Abstract

This research examines the Islamic and Christian Society's Animo towards Religious Activities in Jawi Jawi Village, Sei Kepayang Barat District, the Community in Jawi Jawi Village towards understanding religious teachings can be assessed as a stimulus that has an impact on a person's religious behavior. Religious behavior as an activity based on believed religious values, is influenced by the intensity of individual activity, the level of understanding of religious teachings, and the intensity in carrying out activities related to religious teachings. This research uses the type of research conducted by researchers is qualitative research with a theological approach. This research was conducted in Sei Jawi Jawi Village, Sei Kepayang District, Asahan District, North Sumatra Province. In this case researchers classify sources into two categories, namely primary sources and secondary sources and researchers collect data by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study are that religious activities are all forms of activities related to religious values, which are used as routines in daily life and used as guidelines in establishing relationships with Allah SWT and relationships with other human beings. The views of the Muslim and Christian communities on religious activities in Jawi Jawi Village are activities that are based on Islamic or Christian religious teachings which are a form of Islamic development and one of its goals is to help build morals, especially as a form of moral development in the Jawi Jawi Village community. With the activeness of a person in participating in religious activities, it is hoped that the quality of a person's faith will be better than before where this will appear in his moral behavior in everyday life. This means that Islamic and Christian religious activities contribute to the process of developing the morals of the people of Jawi Jawi Village.

Abstract

Character education is a system of cultivating character values which includes components of knowledge, feelings, and actions as a form of moral development and individual behavior. The lack of character education will lead to a moral crisis that will have a negative impact on society. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach to the type of library research. The data collection technique is by collecting data and related sources from books, written materials and references that are relevant to the research being carried out. The result of this study is that providing moral education for students can change the behavior of students, so that when they are adults they have responsibility, respect each other, and are able to face the challenges of the rapidly changing times. The development of the times, family, peers, school environment, and social environment also have a major impact on students' moral damage so that character education can be a solution to these problems.

Abstract

Advanced reading is a reading skill that is more complex and requires deeper understanding. Advanced reading skills are very important because they help a person to understand more complex information and broaden one's horizons. To improve advanced reading skills, one needs to practice beginning reading skills first. Beginning reading skills include the ability to recognize letters, read words, and read sentences. After the initial reading ability is well trained, a person can practice advanced reading skills by reading reading material that is more complex and requires a deeper understanding. One method that can be used to improve reading comprehension skills is the REAP (Read, Encode, Annotate, Ponder) method. This method involves four stages, namely reading, marking, writing, and pondering. This writing aims to find out to improve advanced reading skills in class III students of SD N 064037 advanced reading in high classes in order to improve reading skills in student learning in high classes & improve learning abilities. This research uses a rational approach method which was compiled based on the results of observation and study References. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the use of good and relevant strategies in advanced reading learning in high grades can affect effectiveness and can improve students' learning abilities.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are 1) Increasing teacher skills in learning Indonesian by using role playing methods, 2) Increasing learning activities of students by learning Indonesian with role playing methods, 3) Improving student learning outcomes in Indonesian learning with using the role playing method. This type of research is action research. The research subjects were teachers and all fourth grade students of SDN 02 Gidangelo 2018/2019 academic year. The samples taken were 29 fourth grade students using data in this study obtained through tests, observations, and documentation. The results of the study revealed that there was an increase in the acquisition of the value of speaking skills. In pratindakan the average value of 65.80 and the number of students completeness by 31%. Then in the first cycle applied the role playing method obtained an average value of 75.86 and the total completeness of students was 62%. That is, the use of the Role Playing method can improve the speaking ability of students, but the results obtained have not exceeded the target determined by the researcher so that it is continued in the second cycle. In the second cycle, the average score of 84.77 and the total completeness of students was 72%. In conclusion, the Role Playing method can improve students' speaking abilities.

Abstract

This study is the first study in the identification of the problems faced in science subjects. The purpose of this research is to identify the underlying science difficulty in elementary school. The study is a quantitative study using descriptive research methods. These data collecting techniques use interview instruments, observation sheets and learning results (cognitive) tests. The findings of this study provide information leading to the difficulty of learning elementary student science. One of the subjects that has to be mastered at an elementary level is the subject of natural science. The implications of elementary science study should make it possible to cultivate the curiosity of learners scientifically. But the reality is not that all trainees have mastered competence as expected. This lack of natural science concepts is due to the difficulty of learners in responding to learning given by their teachers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine further the theory of cognitive development by Jean Piaget regarding learning science according to the level of thinking of children at the elementary school age stage. Sources of data used in this research are books, journals, articles, and other scientific works. The data collection technique is Library Studies. Data analysis uses content analysis. The results of this study indicate that the cognitive development of children at the concrete operational age stage (7-12 years) in science learning varies in almost every phase of their age. Science learning in elementary schools is adjusted to age stages. This is in accordance with the implementation of Jean Piaget's theory of development. Refers to how people grow, adapt, and change throughout their life's journey through physical development, personality development, socioemotional development, cognition (thinking) development, and language development. In addition to the level of understanding of models and methods as well as the handling used also varies. The results of the research can become the basis for teaching teachers so that learning becomes more effective, efficient and right on target. Especially to realize the achievement of national education goals.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' description writing skills with audio video media in fifth grade students at SD Negeri Slapajang II. This type of research is classroom action research. The research subjects were fifth grade students. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles with four components in each cycle, namely planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires, observations (observations), interviews, and description writing tests. The data analysis technique used is a qualitative analysis technique. Criteria for success seen from the process and product. The success of the process is measured based on improving the learning process in a better direction. The success of the product is measured based on KKM achievement and better student scores. The results of this study indicate that the use of audio video media can improve the description writing skills of the fifth grade students of SD Negeri Slapajang II. Improvements can be seen in processes and products. Improving the quality of the process seen in student activities in learning. Improved process quality can be seen from the condition of students who are more active in asking questions, more enthusiastic, and more independent. Process quality improvement has a positive impact on product quality improvement.

Abstract

This research examines the analysis of social equality for persons with disabilities in the Qur'an Surah An-Nur: 61 and the Qur'an Surah Abasa: 1-3 in the book of Ibnu Katsir's commentary. This type of research is qualitative research which describes data using a series of sentences. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The results of this study indicate that persons with disabilities in the view of the Al-Quran are studied in the interpretation, namely, (Tafsir Ibnu Katsir). Persons with disabilities in the Al-Quran show human deficiencies biologically or physically and examples/parables. As for persons with disabilities, in the view of the Koran, this refers to persons with physical disabilities, namely: Acting the same or being tolerant towards others, not discriminating, Providing relief not to carry out perfectly the obligations that guide the five senses and their physical members, not discriminating, have the right to choosing and continuing friendships and being allowed not to join the war. Meanwhile, indirectly in other surahs it shows attitudes towards persons with disabilities, namely not discriminating, such as not making fun of, criticizing either in the form of derogatory actions or remarks and also what distinguishes individuals is their faith and piety.
