Abstract

School-based management is the result of a translation of School Based Management (SBM) is a political approach that aims to redesign school management by giving power to the Principal in an effort to improve school performance which includes teachers, students, principals and increasing community participation. School-based management is a model of education that provides flexibility for schools to develop and implement educational programs in schools according to their needs through empowering existing resources including community participation so that it better reflects efforts to improve the delivery of educational services in a democratic, transparent and accountable manner. in a real way to achieve educational goals that are more efficient and effective without compromising the goals of National Education.

Abstract

So far, the learning system that occurs in elementary schools is still filled with a world view which states that information is a set of realities that must be remembered. In addition, most of the learning space situation is still centered on the instructor (focused on educators or teachers) as a source of basic information, and the use of speaking techniques as the main decision of the teaching and learning system. Such a learning situation does not include students in making questions. To foster a teaching and learning environment that can foster courage, mentality, and inventive and innovative behavior, it is very important to have a relationship between the parts of the training, such as instructors, students, educational plans, apparatus (learning media) and learning assets, materials, techniques , and assessment tools work together to create useful learning measures, the Problem Based Learning model is the best decision in today's learning. The problem is how to apply the issue-based learning model in PAI learning in elementary schools?

Abstract

This study aims to determine the initial environmental literacy ability of prospective chemistry teacher students in environmental chemistry courses. This research is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The research population is 90 students who take environmental chemistry MK. The sample is a saturated sample, so all the population is used as the research sample. The results showed that the initial ability of prospective chemistry teacher students from the three indicators observed was Concern for the environment with an average score of (3.10) categorized as moderate. Knowledge of the environment with an average score of (3.35) is categorized as moderate. The application of environmental knowledge with an average score of (3.8) is categorized as good.

Abstract

The research was about the analysis of teacher needs in the implementation of online learning process during the pandemic at SD Negeri Pakulonan 1 Tangerang the academic year of 2020/2021. The background of this research because of the learning transition from conventional to online learning as an impacted of COVID-19 pandemic. The objective of the research to know ideal needs in the implementation of online learning for the primary school teachers. The design of the research used qualitative method with case study approach. The data collecting was obtained through interview with teachers at the grade of III- 1, VI-2, and school supervisor, documentation, and parent questionnaire. The result of this research indicated that the teacher at the grade of III-1 and VI-2 achieved the ideal needs for implementation of online learning. The needs of teachers used were: (1) facility of online learning; (2) media of online learning, like applications and features; and (3) model variation of online learning. In the future, the teacher expect the developing of facility, media, and model variation of online learning. The teacher also hoped the role of government to introduce the applications the supported by education quota and give attention about the available of internet access.

Abstract

The covid-19 pandemic conditions cause unprecedented changes in life, and so learning is made online from home through online media (online), where teachers are required to use technology to design learning media as an innovation. This type of research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data retrieval takes place through interview techniques, observation and documentation. The data-analysis technique is done in a descriptive way by describing the student's interview results. Studies have found that teachers still encounter obstacles to the online use of the learning media and that it takes teacher creativity to create the learning media by using various platforms

Abstract

The purpose of this study, namely to find out how to implement the online learning model, to find out what are the inhibiting factors in the implementation of online learning, and to find out the supporting factors in the online learning process during the pandemic. Parents' Perception of Online Learning During a Pandemic. This study uses qualitative research with descriptive analysis techniques. The results show that the implementation of the online learning model in elementary schools is by utilizing several kinds of applications, the use of one-sheet lesson plans and evaluation of written worksheets that can be taken and collected directly to the school supported by facilities provided by the school in the form of wifi for teachers at school. and free internet quota for students. However, there are still obstacles in the implementation of online learning, namely, the lack of effectiveness and time efficiency, the lack of student enthusiasm and the lack of understanding of the material.

Abstract

In learning activities, a teacher must understand what is needed by students. In identifying student learning needs, an appropriate learning needs measurement model is needed. One of them is the inductive model. The deductive model is the identification of learning needs in general and with broad targets. The effectiveness of the deductive model was tested by research sourced from the results of an interview with an elementary school teacher. The deductive model is often applied in a learning model. This is useful to find out how effective the learning model has been. The deductive model that conveys messages from the general to the specific and the abstract to the real turns out to have advantages and disadvantages when applied online.

Abstract

In the context of the interaction of the learning process, students experience a tendency to be less motivated in learning. This study reveals efforts to increase students' interest in learning, and student learning activities, the ability of teachers to provide learning motivation and also student learning responses through class lessons. This study aims to increase students' interest in learning, determine student learning activities, teacher's ability to provide interest in learning, and also determine student learning responses through classroom learning. Various strategies that can be applied by teachers through classroom learning so that students are interested in learning. However, teachers are required to have creativity and innovation in creating a conducive and effective learning atmosphere.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify and obtain information about the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the thematic learning process in elementary schools. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method. The setting of the research was carried out at SDN 09 Duri Kosambi West Jakarta. The research subjects included teachers, students, and parents of students by observing and conducting interviews on the implementation of online learning during the COVID- 19 pandemic. The stages of this research follow qualitative research procedures such as data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study reveal that the implementation of thematic learning cannot be carried out ideally as in normal situations / before the Covid-19 pandemic occurred. More learning is carried out separately and not integrated between subjects as how integrative thematic learning should be carried out. Meanwhile, of the 4 student competencies that should be learning outcomes in thematic learning, the competencies that can be implemented and achieved maximally are knowledge competencies. The results of this study are expected to provide recommendations for education providers and all education stakeholders so that the educational process can continue under any conditions.

Abstract

Every child has different abilities and cognitive abilities. This is motivated by heredity and environmental factors. Hereditary factors can be from the father's or mother's genes. One example of environmental factors is how to educate parents about their children or the good and bad of the surrounding environment. That is why parenting and the environment have a big influence on the quality of children. Most elementary school children have not been able to recognize their identity and have not been able to develop the abilities that exist in themselves. The purpose of this study is to describe the method of identifying and developing interests and talents for the students of Al-Fattaah Islamic Elementary School. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive qualitative design (case study). The data collection technique used direct interviews with the deputy head of the Al Fattaah Islamic Elementary School curriculum. Developing talent with some effort is quite effective to do. This can be seen from the results of interviews received by interviewers that with the existence of extracurricular and four aspects, namely academic, skills, character, and spiritual in learning activities, students can find interests and talents. Where these interests and talents will be developed by the Al Fattaah Islamic Elementary School teachers.
