Abstract

Education has an important role in developing students‘ abilities, but significant changes in the education system, such as curriculum changes, and academic requirements often put pressure on students so that it can trigger anxiety and have an impact on students’ learning motivation. This study aims to determine the relationship between anxiety and learning motivation in high school students. The method used was a quantitative method involving 206 high school student participants based on purposive sampling. This study used the spearmen corellation method and the results showed that there was no relationship between anxiety and learning motivation of high school students. The correlation test results obtained an r value of -0.017 and p 0.814> 0.05. The results of the difference test using mann whitney and obtained there are differences in anxiety based on gender and differences in learning motivation based on grade level. The results of this study are expected to be useful for future researchers in conducting research with similar variables and useful for teachers to develop learning methods that can reduce student anxiety and can increase student learning motivation.

Abstract

Motivation can be said as a drive owned by students, which will make them do an action and with this motivation students will be enthusiastic to follow the lesson. There are many factors that drive motivation, including interest in learning, prior knowledge and digital literacy. The purpose of this study is to measure the correlation between interest in learning, prior knowledge and digital literacy to learning motivation. The researcher took a quantitative research method with a correlational approach, sampling using stratified random sampling, so that 159 students were obtained for the sample. Based on the results of the study, it shows that interest in learning and motivation are interrelated with a magnitude of 0.438, prior knowledge to motivation is interrelated with a magnitude of 0.542, digital literacy to motivation is interrelated with a magnitude of 0.505 and interest in learning, prior knowledge and digital literacy to motivation are interrelated with a magnitude of 0.636. The conclusion of this study is the relationship between interest in learning and motivation is moderately correlated, the relationship between initial knowledge to learning motivation is moderately correlated, the relationship between digital literacy to learning motivation is moderately correlated, and the relationship between interest in learning, prior knowledge and digital literacy to learning motivation is strongly correlated.

Abstract

This research was motivated by several problems, namely, the implementation of the Pancasila student profile which was not optimal, especially regarding mutual cooperation. There are still students who have difficulty carrying out learning using collaborative methods at SDN 15 Ampang Gadang. The spirit of cooperation is fading among students at SDN 15 Ampang Gadang. Therefore, this research aims to determine Mutual Cooperation Character Education through the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education and Character Education Subjects at SDN 15 Ampang Gadang. The method in this research uses descriptive qualitative, namely, to reveal facts, circumstances, phenomena and circumstances that occur while the research is running. The informants in this research were Islamic Religious Education and Character Teachers. Meanwhile, the location of this research was carried out at SDN 15 Ampang Gadang and the data collection techniques used in this research were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research obtained regarding Mutual Cooperation Character Education through the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education Subjects are that Islamic Religious Education teachers appreciate and strongly support Mutual Cooperation Character Education. This form of appreciation was realized by creating a congregational noon prayer program in turns. The implementation of Mutual Cooperation Character Education is carried out at the planning, implementation and evaluation stages. Moral knowing from the planning, implementation and evaluation stages is quite good, because it is in accordance with theory. While the moral feeling is less formed, the moral action is more visible, because there is already a practice of mutual cooperation in implementation. The supporting factors are adequate facilities and infrastructure. The inhibiting factor is the lack of students' understanding of what must be done, in other words the lack of awareness of students to work together.

Abstract

Waste is one form of waste found in the environment. Its source, form, type and composition are strongly influenced by the level of community culture and natural conditions. This study aims to determine community behavior and factors that influence community behavior in waste management in Padang Panjang City. This study used descriptive methods with quantitative and qualitative approaches, primary data collection techniques were carried out by questionnaire. The population in this study were people in Padang Panjang City, 100 respondents were selected to be research informants. The results showed that the community had “Very Good” waste management behavior. Factors that influence behavior, 1) Public knowledge about waste management is “High”. The general behavior of the community in waste management, namely by managing waste at home such as making unique, interesting crafts, and making eco enzyme, disposing of waste to the nearest TPS and burning waste. 2) Waste management facilities and infrastructure are categorized as “High” in 6 urban villages, while the other 10 are “Medium”. Facilities and infrastructure owned or provided by the community and government in Padang Panjang City are in the form of waste collection containers made of wood, cemented TPS, iron to attach garbage, drums or trash cans. 3) Government policy in Mayor Regulation No. 29/2018 encourages community involvement in waste management through education and information. Counseling activities in Padang Panjang City are attended by the community. Several communities and waste bank managers were awarded certificates for their involvement as inspirational figures in waste management.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of family attitudes and support on the completeness of basic immunization for infants in Papua. The findings reveal that Papua’s immunization coverage of only 55.3% is far below the national average of 84.2%, indicating significant challenges. Geographic, cultural, and socioeconomic barriers hinder access to immunization services. Positive family attitudes and strong emotional support significantly increase immunization completeness, while distrust in vaccines and limited access remain obstacles. Community-based interventions, the involvement of cultural leaders, and the use of innovative technologies like drones are crucial strategies. This research underscores the importance of a holistic approach involving government, healthcare workers, and local communities to achieve equitable and effective immunization programs in Papua.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between parents' socioeconomic status and students' interest in pursuing higher education among XII-grade students at SMA Negeri 2 Lengayang. The research was motivated by the low percentage of students from SMA Negeri 2 Lengayang who continue their studies at the university level. This study employs a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with a total sample of 80 XII-grade students. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire consisting of 15 statements that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results indicate a significant positive relationship between parents' socioeconomic status and students' interest in higher education, as shown by the calculated correlation coefficient (r = 0.454), which is greater than the critical r-value (r = 0.220). Consequently, the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (H₁) is accepted. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the higher the parents' socioeconomic status, the greater the students' interest in continuing their education at the university level.

Abstract

Global markets have been severely impacted by the COVID-19 epidemic, which has increased economic uncertainty and changed sectoral performance. This study looks at the sectors that fared well throughout the crisis and investigates the wider economic effects of uncertainty brought on by the epidemic. We evaluate the degree of economic uncertainty and its macroeconomic impacts using real-time indicators, such as stock market volatility, news-based uncertainty metrics, and company expectation surveys. According to our research, the pandemic's uncertainty shock is similar to past crises like the Great Depression and the financial crisis of 2008. Additionally, we project a significant drop in the US real GDP, with increased uncertainty accounting for about half of the reduction. These findings highlight the value of forward-looking analyses in assessing economic resilience and offer insightful information for maximising sectoral investment plans in times of international emergency.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students' difficulties in understanding the subject matter of Islamic Cultural History, which is considered complex and abstract, especially in the material on the exemplary stories of Walisongo. Learning media innovations such as digital flipbooks are needed to improve student learning outcomes. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of digital flipbooks in improving student learning outcomes in the material on the exemplary stories of Walisongo. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design model involving an experimental class (using digital flipbooks) and a control class (conventional learning) with subjects of class IX students of MTsN 1 Jombang. Data collection in this study was in the form of tests. Data analysis in this study used normality tests, homogeneity tests, independent sample t-tests, and normalized N-Gain. Based on the results of the analysis using SPSS version 30, the results of the independent sample t-test showed a sig value (2-tailed) <0.001. The N-Gain test results for the experimental class were 66.3% (quite effective) and the control class was 41.8% (less effective). Based on these two data analyses, it can be concluded that students who use digital flipbooks in learning obtain higher average scores than students who use learning without digital flipbooks. This means that digital flipbook learning media can be an effective alternative used in learning the material on the exemplary stories of Walisongo.

Abstract

The curriculum in an education is an important thing in the process of learning in schools, if a school does not have a curriculum in learning it will not run according to the goals to be achieved. This research aims to find out the significant influence of the application of the Independent Curriculum on student learning outcomes in PAI subjects. This research method is a quantitative study and uses random sampling techniques, sampling in this study totals 67 respondents. The data collection technique in this study uses the questionnaire method. The results of the research that has been conducted using spss 30 show that the hypothesis test in the study using the moment product correlation analysis test with the result of the significance value of the data test is 0.605 greater than the rtable (0.605 < 0.244), and in the test using the T test, the results are obtained Based on the T test, it shows that the regression coefficient of the variable Implementation of the Independent Curriculum 0.001 < 0.05. then it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected which means that there is a significant influence between the application of the Merdeka curriculum on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study examines the transformation of elementary school teacher education through the Dakwah Islam Berkemajuan approach, which integrates progressive Islamic values into the education system to enhance teachers' spiritual competence, professionalism, and inclusivity. The research is grounded in the need for a holistic and multicultural education system capable of addressing contemporary challenges. The primary objective is to explore the potential of the Dakwah Islam Berkemajuan approach in shaping teacher education that is moderate and responsive to diversity. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted using bibliographic analysis, supported by bibliometric mapping with VOSviewer. The findings indicate that this approach emphasizes the principles of moderation, tolerance, and respect for diversity within teacher education processes. Moreover, the study highlights the importance of collaboration between progressive dakwah and multicultural education to strengthen social harmony and support Muhammadiyah's educational mission. The main conclusion asserts that this approach holds transformative potential in creating an inclusive educational ecosystem that is adaptive to societal dynamics. The implications include the need to develop teacher training programs grounded in progressive Islamic values, enhance inter-institutional collaboration, provide professional mentoring, and formulate inclusive educational policies. The study also recommends further research to explore the implementation of this approach in other educational contexts.
