Abstract

Enhancing community understanding of web technology is a strategic step in addressing the demands of the digital era. In a socialization program at the Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (TBM) Kolong Ciputat, we introduced the concept of flexible web design utilizing Bootstrap 5. This framework offers ready-to-use components and a grid system that simplifies the creation of responsive designs. This article explores the methods implemented during the program, the outcomes achieved, and the evaluation of its effectiveness. The results indicate that participants successfully grasped fundamental concepts and implemented Bootstrap 5 to develop responsive web designs.

Abstract

Smartphone use has become a global phenomenon that has a major impact on people's lives, including teenagers. On the one hand, smartphones provide significant benefits, such as easy access to information, global communication and opportunities for self-development. However, on the other hand, smartphone misuse can cause various problems, such as addiction, decreased quality of social interactions, and exposure to negative content. This research aims to introduce and socialize the positive and negative influences of smartphones to Karang Taruna youth, as an educational medium that is relevant to the development of information technology. This activity is carried out through a participatory approach involving introductory sessions, group discussions, case simulations, and comprehensive evaluations. Data was collected using pre- and post-activity survey methods to measure participants' level of understanding. The results showed that 85% of participants experienced increased understanding of digital literacy, cyber security and time management using smartphones. This activity also encourages participants' critical awareness to use smartphones wisely and productively, in line with Karang Taruna's educational values. This research concludes that introducing and socializing the influence of smartphones through an educational approach can be an effective strategy in shaping positive attitudes and behavior of teenagers in the digital era. Therefore, it is recommended to develop sustainable programs that involve stakeholders, such as educators, parents and youth communities, to support ethical and innovative digital literacy..

Abstract

The implementation of UMKM labeling to provide taste or interest by looking at the labels that have been prepared by the service teams for UMKM Rowo Gempol Village Pasuruan, using the ABCD (asset based communities development) method, seeing from the sales location is quite crowded and from several markets are very interesting and many opportunities because es jaran sellers are very rarely sold by UMKM. The implementation of this labeling took place at the Ngopak Market, Lekok District, Pasuruan, with the aim of further increasing the development of UMKM in Pasuruan. Great opportunities are actually wide open for UMKM Rowo Gempol Village if the promotion strategy is carried out properly. Developing a distribution network, both locally and internationally, can be one way to expand the market. The implementation of the promotion strategy through the creation of product banners and stickers has had a significant impact on increasing the visibility and competitiveness of UMKM in Rowo Gempol Village. , the evaluation conducted after the activity showed that the use of visual promotional media such as banners and stickers had a positive long-term impact. Rowo Gempol Village's UMKM products are now better known, not only locally but also among consumers from outside the region who are interested in the unique and quality products from this village

Abstract

HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) are the foundational technologies for web development. Learning HTML and CSS is essential for building and designing web pages. HTML provides the structure of a webpage, while CSS is used for designing and layout purposes. Understanding these technologies is important for students to gain the necessary skills to create functional and attractive websites. This paper aims to introduce the basics of HTML and CSS to students, guiding them through the steps involved in web development, and enabling them to create their own web pages.

Abstract

This activity aims to provide education and training to high school students at SMA Ki Hajar Dewantoro on utilizing Augmented Reality (AR) technology in Android-based computer hardware learning. AR technology enables students to visualize computer hardware components, such as the motherboard, processor, and RAM, in 3D. Through this interactive approach, students can more easily understand the functions and mechanisms of each component, which are often taught theoretically and lack deep understanding. The implementation of AR is expected to serve as a teaching aid that not only enhances students' understanding but also strengthens their motivation to explore technology further. The partner for this activity is SMA Ki Hajar Dewantoro, located in Tangerang. Based on interviews with the school, it was found that students face difficulties in understanding hardware concepts because teaching has largely been theory-based with limited practical experience. The school also faces constraints in providing the necessary tools and physical equipment for hands-on practice, making computer hardware learning less optimal. Therefore, the application of AR is seen as a solution to these limitations, offering students a richer and deeper learning experience. The expected outcomes of this activity include improved student understanding of computer hardware components, increased learning motivation, and the establishment of a more interactive learning pattern. The methods for the activity include introducing AR technology, training on using AR applications, hands-on practice by students, and conducting discussions and evaluations. Evaluation techniques involve questionnaires and interviews to measure changes in students' understanding and motivation before and after the activity. Data analysis is conducted qualitatively through interviews. The output of this activity includes the development of AR-based learning modules for sustainable use by the school, improvement in the quality of computer hardware education, and heightened student motivation to study technology.

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 brings significant changes to the world of work, especially for vocational high school students who need to adapt to the integration of digital technology. Through this seminar, students of SMKN 8 Tangerang Selatan were given an in-depth understanding of technologies such as AI and IoT as well as the skills needed to compete in the digital era. This community service activity included presentations, discussions, and interactive quizzes aimed at increasing students' awareness and readiness to face industry challenges. In conclusion, this seminar effectively equipped participants with relevant knowledge and skills to face the ever-changing world of work.

Abstract

Community Service (PKM) aims to optimize physical and mental health through the implementation of work-life balance within the Indonesian Fitness Sports Community (ORKI) in Tangerang. This activity is based on the need to raise public awareness about the importance of maintaining a balance between work and personal life to achieve holistic health. The methods employed include morning exercise, archery, and focus group discussions (FGDs), designed to strengthen participants' understanding of the close relationship between physical health, mental well-being, and life balance. The results of the activity demonstrate active participation and high enthusiasm from ORKI members, who not only gained an understanding of the importance of holistic health but also acquired new insights on managing time, involvement, and satisfaction in daily life. This activity strengthens the collaboration between Pamulang University and ORKI in promoting a healthy, productive lifestyle that benefits the community.

Abstract

This study aims to socialize and optimize the use of social media in order to build effective personal branding among students of SMA KH Dewantoro, Tangerang City. In today's digital era, social media has a very important role in shaping self-image and introducing individual potential to the public. Therefore, it is important for students to understand the right strategy in utilizing social media in order to support their personal and professional success in the future. Through this socialization, it is hoped that students can be wiser in using social media for productive and positive purposes. In this socialization activity, an understanding of the concept of personal branding is given, namely an effort to build a strong and consistent self-image in cyberspace. Students are taught how to choose the right social media platform, manage content that is in accordance with personal values, and maintain ethics and professionalism in interacting in the digital world. In addition, students are also given practical training on how to optimize their social media accounts to support career development and build useful professional networks. The results of this socialization activity show that the understanding of the importance of personal branding among students has increased significantly. They began to realize how big the impact of social media is on achieving personal and professional goals. With the right strategy, students can use social media effectively to improve communication skills, expand relationships, and open up career opportunities in the future. This socialization also succeeded in educating students on how to maintain a positive image in cyberspace, which in turn can help them achieve success in the professional world.

Abstract

The purpose of the Community Service activity is to implement one of the tri dharma of higher education. In addition, it is hoped that with community service, the existence of higher education can make a major contribution to the development and application of science to the community. The method used in this community service is in the form of counseling and coaching, namely in addition to better actions, processes and results or statements. In this case, it shows progress, increased growth, evolution of various possibilities, development or improvement of something. The results of community service obtained are to get development and Community Empowerment with the theme of Implementation of work discipline in improving the quality of human resources in Indonesian fitness sports, (ORKI), South Tangerang. The knowledge obtained can be developed again and disseminated in order to provide the best for the surrounding community.
