Abstract

. Based on the results of observations, learning subjects Basic Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering in Vocational High Schools showed low learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes by using audio-visual media in the student facilitator and explaining learning model. This research is a class action research consisting of two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection activities. The research subjects were 35 male students in class X Machining at SMK Negeri 1 Cibeber for the 2020/2021 academic year. Based on the results of the written test conducted at the end of cycle I, an average value of 69.92 was obtained with 72% classical completeness. Implementation of improvements in cycle II increased student learning outcomes, with an average score of 78.30 and 76.92% classical completeness.

Abstract

This research elucidates the impact of globalization on the content and subjects of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah curriculum, focusing on the challenges and opportunities it presents. The study utilizes a combination of literature review and thematic analysis to explore the influence of globalization on the curriculum and the strategies employed by Madrasah Ibtidaiyah to strike a balance between traditional Islamic teachings and global knowledge and skills. The findings reveal that globalization has influenced the content and subjects taught in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah curriculum by necessitating the incorporation of global perspectives, emphasizing universal values, and contextualizing global knowledge within an Islamic framework. However, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah faces challenges in adapting its curriculum, including the need to ensure the preservation of Islamic teachings, address cultural sensitivities, and navigate societal expectations. Despite challenges, globalization offers opportunities for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah to enhance its curriculum and prepare students for a globalized world. This includes fostering intercultural communication, promoting global citizenship, encouraging critical thinking, nurturing tolerance and inclusion, and developing cultural sensitivity. The incorporation of global perspectives significantly impacts students' understanding of diversity and multiculturalism by exposing them to different cultures, challenging stereotypes, promoting intercultural communication, and fostering a sense of global citizenship.

Abstract

This research explores the utilization of virtual reality (VR) in educational settings and examines current trends, future directions, benefits, and challenges associated with its implementation. The purpose of this library research is to provide an overview of the existing literature on VR and educational research, highlighting the potential of VR technology to enhance traditional teaching methods and improve student engagement, motivation, and learning outcomes. The method used for this research is a comprehensive review and analysis of relevant scholarly articles, books, and reports from academic databases and libraries. The results indicate that VR has been utilized in educational research to create immersive and interactive learning experiences, personalize instruction, bridge the gap between abstract concepts and concrete understanding, and foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills. VR also presents challenges such as cost, accessibility, curriculum integration, teacher training, technical limitations, health and safety concerns, privacy, and ethics. However, the research concludes that with careful planning, adequate resources, and proper support, VR has the potential to revolutionize education and prepare students for a technologically advanced future. Further research and innovation in areas such as immersion, AI integration, collaboration, assessment, accessibility, and ethics are recommended to fully leverage the benefits of VR in educational settings.

Abstract

As the main community within the scope of Islamic boarding schools. the role of the santri, who daily seek religious knowledge, is still needed for the sustainability of the institutional economy to meet future needs. By forming an entrepreneurship program that facilitates students, they will learn directly in the world of business by selling food products. it is also wrong to support the needs of the institution in the future. the purpose of conducting this research is to find out what efforts are made on the role of santri in the economic cycle of Islamic boarding schools. Abstract

Observasi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia bagi Anak Luar Biasa (SLB) MI/SD. Adapun yang menjadi fokus masalah pada penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SLB Global Kids Centre Tebing Tinggi, hambatan apa yang terjadi dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SLB Global Kids Centre Tebing Tinggi, serta upaya guru dalam mengatasi hambatan tersebut. Pada penulisan artikel ini, penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seorang guru dan siswa di SLB Global Kids Centre Tebing Tinggi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia bagi Anak Luar Biasa (SLB) MI/SD menggunakan metode Program Pembelajaran Individual (PPI) yang disesuaikan dengan kemampuan siswa dan media pembelajaran untuk mempermudah anak dalam mempelajari materi. Kurikulum 2013 tidak dapat diterapkan sepenuhnya karena materi pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang tidak sesuai dengan kondisi anak. Berbagai upaya dilakukan guru untuk mengatasi hambatan terebut: misalnya menggunakan PPI, dan mempelajari berbagai metode terbaru yang dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia untuk anak autis.

Abstract

The study addresses vowel phonology in English with a focus on basic concepts, phonemic analysis, change, and phonological rules. Vowel phonology involves the study of vowel sounds in language and the way they are organized and grouped in the language system. Vowel phonemic analysis identifies an inventory of vowel phonemes in English and classifies them based on differences in word meaning. The distribution of vowel phonemics and allophonies describes the mapping of vowel phonemes in a particular phonological context. Vowel phonological changes occur over time and are influenced by factors such as phonetic influences, phonological environment, and contact with other languages. The study also highlights examples of phonological changes in vowels in English, including diphthongs to monophhongs and shifts in vowel sound height. Vowel phonological rules govern the pronunciation of vowel sounds in English, including allophony rules and phonological environmental influences. Abstract

Reading is a cognitive activity or process that aims to find various information contained in written information. This means that reading is a thought process to understand the contents of the text read. Evaluation of learning to read is a series of activities or steps taken after the completion of the main activities to obtain information about the results of learning to read, then manage and interpret them using benchmarks and goals and certain criteria. This type of research is library research, namely research conducted by analyzing and making written literature scientific journals as well as the main source. So the evaluation of learning to read is the process of determining students’ understanding, acceptance, categorization, analysis and reasoning abilities, as well as the accuracy of students’ pronunciation and intonation when taking reading tests in the target language. The purpose of learning to read is so that students can understand and use language in practice, it is not enough to measure it with mere mechanical abilities. The assessment of reading ability must be seen from the general reading ability as a whole, so that when assessing skills other than mechanical skills, it is also necessary to measure reading ability, for example understanding the content or meaning of sentences. The purpose of this study is to find out how the effort to implement the evaluation of students’ reading learning.

Abstract

Kata ‘menyimak’ dalam bahasa Indonesia memiliki kemiripan makna dengan ‘mendengar’ atau ‘mendengarkan’. Oleh karena itu, kedua kata tersebut sering menimbulkan kerancuan pemahaman. Menyimak mempunyai arti menangkap suatu bunyi dengan telinga. Namun, mendengarkan dilakukan secara kebetulan dan tidak direncanakan. Menyimak berarti memperhatikan baik-baik apa yang diucapkan atau dibaca orang. Akan tetapi, mendengarkan merupakan menangkap bunyi dengan sungguh-sungguh. Contohnya pada anak sekolah yang lagi belajar dan anak yang sedang membangunkan temannya karena ada gempa. Menyimak merupakan kegiatan keterampilan berbahasa mencakup kegiatan mendengarkan bunyi bahasa, mengidentifikasi, menginterpretasikan, dan mereaksi bunyi bahasa atas makna yang terkandung di dalamnya. Dengan pengertian lain menyimak berarti kemampuan memahami pesan yang disampaikan melalui bahasa lisan. Berbicara dan menyimak sangatlah berhubungan, terutama dalam proses komunikasi, saling tukar informasi, saling bergantian peran, dan saling memahami apa yang dikatakan oleh lawannya. Oleh karena itu menyimak dapat dikatakan sebagai kegiatan berbagasa reseptif dalam suatu kegiatan bercakap-cakap dengan medium audio atau visual. Misalnya pada saat khutbah jumat dan mendengarkan pengumuman di stasiun atau bandar udara. Kegiatan menyimak dilakukan oleh seseorang dengan bunyi bahasa sebagai sasarannya, sedangkan mendengarkan sasarannya dapat berupa bunyi apa saja. Selain itu menyimak dilakukan dengan sengaja, terencana dan ada usaha untuk memahami atau menikmati apa yang disimak dan ada tanggapan setelahnya, sedangkan mendengarkan dilakukan dengan bisa sengaja dan tidak serta tidak ada usaha untuk memahami apa yang didengar.

Abstract

This study aims to understand more deeply about the values ​​of character education in the Qur'an, especially in surah Ali Imron verse 79. In this study, researchers used qualitative research with a type of library research. As for the data collection technique through library research (library research), namely an analysis that the author uses by reading and studying some scientific literature that has something to do with the thesis to be studied. The results of this study indicate that the values ​​of character education contained in surah Ali Imron verse 79 are religious character education values ​​which have been applied and exemplified by Rasulullah saw as a caliph on this earth who has very good morals, and has the qualities a good character so that the miracles and advantages he possessed did not make the Messenger of Allah arrogant and did not make him belittle the oneness of Allah SWT.

Abstract

This thesis aims (1) to find out the implementation of the tahsin binnadhor method in learning the Koran for female students at the Tahfidzul Qur'an Al-Asy'ariyyah Islamic Boarding School, Kalibeber, Mojotengah, Wonosobo. (2) to find out the characteristics of the implementation of the binnadhor tahsin method in learning the Koran for female students at the Tahfidzul Qur'an Al-Asy'ariyyah Islamic Boarding School, Kalibeber, Mojotengah, Wonosobo. (3) to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of the tahsin binnadhor method in Al-Qur'an learning for female students at the Tahfidzul Qur'an Al-Asy'ariyyah Islamic Boarding School, Kalibeber, Mojotengah, WonosoboThe type of research used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The main subject of this study was the new students of Block F Putri PPTQ Al-Asy'ariyyah, totaling 24 students. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation, and verification.The results showed that the implementation of the tahsin binnadhor method in learning the Qur'an, the students came forward one by one in turn and were listened to by the ustdazah if something went wrong it would be corrected. Characteristics of the implementation of the tahsin binnahor method in learning the Qur'an, students who are fluent, fluent, good and correct in reading the Qur'an will be recommended to recite the Koran at the Dzuriyah PPTQ Al-Asy'ariyyah. Factors supporting the implementation of the tahsin binnadhor method in learning the Qur'an ustadzah have syahadah juz 'ama and bin nadzri, the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure. While the inhibiting factor is the lack of motivation in the students themselves, the time is too short.
