Abstract

The aims of this research are 1. To describe the factors that cause the low level of politeness among students in the social etiquette of class VIII SMPN 4 Kudus. 2. Overcoming the social ethics of student courtesy through behavioral counseling services with self-management techniques for class VIII SMPN 4 Kudus. This type of research is a qualitative research in the form of a case study conducted at SMPN 4 Kudus. The subjects of this study were two class VIII students who had problems with social ethics and politeness. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, documentation. The results showed that by providing behavioristic counseling services with self-management techniques. The counselee is able to change problematic behavior into expected behavior, namely being polite, being able to respect and respecting parents, being friendly in the school environment, being able to respect the opinions and decisions of others

Abstract

The aims of this study are: 1) To describe the factors that cause tiktok social media addiction in class VIII students of SMP N 3 Bae Kudus. 2) To describe the application of behaviorisitc counseling with behavior contract techniques to overcome tiktok social media addiction in class VIII SMP N 3 Bae KudusThis type of research is a qualitative research in the form of a case study conducted at SMP N 3 Bae Kudus. The subjects of this study were 2 class VIII students who had problems with social media addiction (tiktok). Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, home visits, and documentation.The results of the study show that by providing behavioristic counseling services with the Behavior Contract technique, the counselee is able to change problematic behavior into expected behavior, namely the counselee is able to control himself by playing social media excessively, is more focused on studying, the counselee sleeps more regularly, does assignments on schedule, and understand the negative impact of social media addiction.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Knowing the factors that cause difficulties in determining career decisions in students of SMK Negeri 1 Kudus. 2) Knowing the effectiveness of implementing the trait and factor approach to overcome difficulties in determining career decisions for students of SMK Negeri 1 Kudus.The difficulty in determining is that it is difficult for the counselee to determine and process the selection of alternative ways in a career that is carried out intentionally, seriously, and has been considered according to what the counselee wants in order to create career satisfaction. For this vocational students, it is difficult to determine a career, namely making job applications for work or making their own business according to their majors, continuing their studies to college, these things must be thought carefully because later will affect career satisfaction in the future. In dealing with students who are still difficult to make career decisions, the researchers apply trait and factor counseling because this counseling emphasizes the compatibility between education and position. In this study, the technique of providing trait and factor counseling assistance was adjusted to the individual problems of each, for this there is no standard technique that applies to both counselees. All techniques must be determined specifically according to the problem felt by the counselee. This type of research uses a type of qualitative research that is arranged in a case study method conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Kudus. The subjects studied were DSF, CSM, students of class XII TBG 2 and 3 for the academic year 2021/2022.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the phenomenon of academic burnout which is often experienced by students which is shown by lazy behavior in studying and being sleepy during teaching and learning activities. The aim of this research is to determine the level of academic burnout and the effectiveness of peer counseling in reducing academic burnout in class XI at SMAN 1 Pagerbarang. The method used is experimental research with a one group pretest posttest design. The research results show that (1) the level of academic burnout is in the medium category with a score of 369; (2) peer counseling can reduce academic burnout as indicated by a sig score. 0.0000.05 and a decrease in pretest and posttest scores of 38,635 to 26,625; (3) peer counseling is quite effective in reducing academic burnout as seen from the N Gain score of 56%

Abstract

This research was carried out at SMA 1 Mejobo, using descriptive qualitative research using a case study type of research which requires data from research objects and subjects. clearly and realistically. The data collection techniques used in this research were observation, interviews and documentation which were explored in depth in order to obtain accurate data on the causes of online game addiction experienced by Mejobo 1 High School students. The research subjects taken were two students of class X and other supporting sources such as the counseling teacher, homeroom teacher, and the client's classmates. From the discussion above, it can be concluded that the counselor chooses to use behavioristic counseling, this self-management technique can solve the online game addiction problem that is being experienced by the client. counseling that is carried out between counselor and client cannot be resolved directly with one meeting, but with several counseling processes. Based on the results of the research that the researchers had done at SMA 1 Mejobo, the researchers provided advice to several parties, namely the Principal, Counseling Teachers, Students, and suggestions for the researchers themselves.

Abstract

Students' low public speaking skills will hamper cognitive, psychomotor, social developmental tasks as well as learning outcomes because students who have low public speaking skills tend to have difficulty conveying their ideas and information. Inappropriate handling can also cause other negative impacts. Rational Emotive Therapy (RET) counseling is a process of assistance by the counselor to the counselee in overcoming problems caused by irrational ways of thinking. This case study research was carried out in class XI SMAN 1 Gebog with 2 research subjects and 3 counseling sessions. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study identify the factors that cause low counselee public speaking skills, namely anxiety that starts with irrational thoughts. After implementing RET counseling three times, SNA and ABP experienced a more positive change in attitude and thinking so they were able to improve their public speaking skills.

Abstract

This research originates from the problems of students at the An-nuur Islamic boarding school who experience a decrease in learning motivation. Decreased motivation to learn originates from irrational thinking, resulting in irrational behavior. Learning motivation is the urge or desire to do something to achieve a goal. To help with these students' problems, researchers provide counseling services using a rational emotive therapy approach using reinforcement techniques. The goal of rational emotive therapy counseling is to help clients free themselves from illogical ways of thinking or ideas and replace them with logical ways of thinking. Providing reinforcement techniques aims to provide reinforcement in all decisions and changes made by the counselee. This strengthening is expected to help the counselee in making changes.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to overcome low learning motivation using a rational emotive behavior therapy approach. In this study the technique of providing Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) counseling assistance is the reinforcement technique. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research designed to use quasi experiments. The researcher used a pretest and posttest design which was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Nalumsari. The results of the test calculations obtained an Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.020 0.05, so it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted. Thus, it means that the difference in the pretest and posttest scores is significant, meaning that there is a significant difference between the scores of learning motivation before and after being given treatment in other words Ha is accepted, which means that positive reinforcement can be used to overcome low learning motivation in students of SMA Negeri 1 Nalumsari class XIIPS 2. In this research, teachers should be able to apply a rational emotive behavior therapy counseling approach to overcome low learning motivation.

Abstract

Interpersonal communication is an important source for expressing oneself to build, improve and maintain good relationships with other people. Low interpersonal communication problems cause students to be individualistic, namely students who are less open in speaking, less empathetic, less supportive and upholding equality. Starting from this problem. The researcher formulated the aim of this research as to improve students' interpersonal communication through group counseling and using a personal centered counseling approach, the Reflection of Thoughts and Feelings technique. This research uses a one group pre-test and post-test experimental research design. This research used a population of 34 students and a research sample of 7 students. The data analysis technique uses the Wilcoxon test. After carrying out the pre-test and post-test, 2 students (28.57%) had a high level of interpersonal communication and 5 students (71.43%) had a moderate level of communication. Based on the research results, it shows that personal centered counseling, the Reflection of Thoughts and Feelings technique, is effective for improving students' interpersonal communication

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: 1. Knowing the factors that cause students to be lazy to learn, 2. Knowing the extent to which the Behavioristic Counseling approach with Self Management techniques can overcome lazy learning students. The type of research used is a case study. The subjects studied were students of SMA N 1 Mejobo Kudus, there were 2 students who had problems in overcoming lazy learning. Furthermore, the methods used in this study used observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis used is qualitative descriptive data analysis. The results of the study prove that the application of self-management technique behavioristic counseling in overcoming lazy learning in class X-2 students at SMA N 1 Mejobo Kudus can change maladaptive behavior to become adaptive.
