Abstract

The purpose of the research conducted was to find factors that cause students to experience difficulties in career decision making and help overcome difficulties in career decision making. This research uses a trait and factor approach. This type of research is qualitative case study. The research subjects were students of class XI electronics and XII graphical production at SMK N 1 Kalinyamatan. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data analysis used is flow data analysis or flow (flow model analysis).  The results of the study prove that the application of the Trait and Factor approach with the problem of difficulty in making student career decisions is effective in dealing with these problems. The problems of counselee I and counselee II have the same causal factors, which are differences of opinion with parents and the family economy and not knowing their talents and interests and not knowing about the world of work.  The implementation of the trait and factor approach to the problem can be handled well, the counselee can make career decisions about his future and understand the consequences of the choices he makes.

Abstract

By having confidence, the individual always has a positive attitude and this positive attitude that makes the individual able to develop a positive assessment of both the environment and other people. The type of research used case study research. The subjects were several students of class X-9 who felt less confident. In the school environment, there were still many students who have problems with lack of confidence. This was evidenced by the fact that it was found at SMA N 1 MEJOBO that in class X-9 several students experienced problems, namely not having confidence in students. This research has been designed in the form of a case study. The subjects named CAAR and CARP students who experienced a lack of confidence at SMA N 1 Mejobo. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation techniques while data analysis used qualitative data.

Abstract

This research was motivated by problems often experienced by students as shown by declining academic achievement. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of student learning difficulty and the effectiveness of group counseling with cognitive behavior therapy in reducing learning difficulties in grade IX SMPN 3 Talang. The method used is experimental research with a pretest posttest one group pretest design. The results showed that (1) the level of learning difficulty was quite high; (2) group counseling with cognitive behavior therapy can reduce learning difficulties such as by decreasing pretest and posttest scores by 43.88 to 26.22; (3) Group counseling with cognitive behavior therapy is effective as an intervention strategy for learning difficulties shown by the results of paired sample t-tests showing significant changes.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are finding factors that influence learning laziness at SMK N 1 Kalinyamatan and overcoming learning laziness through the application of Behavior Counseling Self-Management Techniques. The type of research is qualitative case study. The data collection techniques are observation, interviews, documentation, and home visits. The results of the study prove that the application of Behavior Self Management techniques in overcoming learning laziness for TAS and AMN can change maladaptive behavior to adaptive behavior. Before counseling, the occurrence of learning laziness in students factor is the financial problems, over tired of working, and often playing game. AMN there are his busy schedule, often over tired hangs out or playing futsal. Therefore, TAS and AMN have learning laziness problems. After individual counseling to a better one, which means that individual counseling using the Behavioristic approach Self Management technique is successfully used to overcome the problem of learning laziness.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are: 1. To describe how the implementation of group guidance services using self-management techniques is used as an effort to increase the learning motivation of class XII 4 IPS students at SMA NU Al-Ma'ruf Kudus. 2. Obtaining results of increasing learning motivation in a better direction, after carrying out self-management technique group guidance services for class XII IPS 4 SMA NU Al-Ma'ruf Kudus. Learning motivation is an encouragement that comes from outside or within students to carry out an activity related to learning with the aim of achieving the desired goals. The self-management technique group guidance service is a service that will be provided by researchers as an effort to increase the learning motivation of class XII IPS 4 SMA NU Al-Ma'ruf Kudus. The type of research used was guidance and counseling action research (PTBK). In collecting data, researchers used interview, observation techniques.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the factors that cause students' low learning concentration and the application of individual counseling with a Cognitive Behavior Therapy approach to increase students' learning concentration. The type of research used is a qualitative case study. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, home visits and documentation. The research results prove that the application of cognitive behavior therapy counseling can help increase students' learning concentration at AY and AMI. Before the counseling was carried out, AY and AMI students experienced low learning concentration because they were unable to divide their time between studying, playing and resting. Therefore, AY and AMI counselees have low learning concentration. After individual counseling for three meetings, students AY and AMI Sudha were able to concentrate during the learning process.

Abstract

The research objectives were to describe and to learing impact and implementation of group guidance services to increase online learning motivation in class VIII H students at SMP Negeri 1 Jati Kudus in the 2022/2023 academic year. The research used was Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK) with 8 students as research subjects. The results of the research on pre-cycle online learning motivation get an average score of 10 with a percentage of 30%. Whereas in cycle I got an average score of 18 percentages 54%. Whereas in cycle II, an average score of 30 percentages is 90%. In the implementation of group guidance services with Numbered Heads Together, the results of observations of researchers were carried out during group guidance which obtained results in the first cycle of researchers getting a score of 20 percentages, 60%. Meanwhile, in cycle II, a score of 29 percentages 87%. In conclusion, the results of the study showed an increase in online learning motivation after being given group guidance services with Numbered Heads Together to class VIII H students of SMP N 1 Jati Kudus, which was acceptable, this was proven after the implementation of group guidance services with Numbered Heads Together there was an increase of 87% from cycle I to cycle II while in online learning motivation there was an increase of 90% from pre-cycle to cycle II.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the first, to find out the level of student career planning when the career guidance program is in the independent learning curriculum, the second is whether there is a difference after being given a career guidance program in the independent learning curriculum. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study included school principals, deputy principals for curriculum, vice principals for student affairs, counseling teachers and students at SMKN 3 Madiun. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. From the results of this study it can be seen First; The implementation of the counseling program at SMKN 3 Madiun is quite good. Judging from the implementation of information services where the teacher always provides information about the world of work and the industrial world, the counseling teacher always provides counseling services to their students through class hours determined by the classical service method, the counseling teacher is also ready to provide individual counseling services when there are students who experience problems. . Second; The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SMKN 3 Madiun was carried out well. Judging from the curriculum program that has been implemented and compiled by several teachers, it is sufficient to facilitate the implementation of learning for teachers and streamline learning or material provided to students. Supporting factors for the implementation of student career planning are categorized as quite good, schools always support the implementation of student career planning by carrying out several activities such as EduFair or JobFair to determine student career plans whether they want to continue on to higher education or the world of work.

Abstract

The aims of this study are: 1. To describe the factors that cause students at SMAN 2 Bae Kudus to have intolerance. 2. Overcoming student intolerance using behavioristic counseling with behavioral contract techniques at SMAN 2 Bae Kudus.The type of research used is guidance and counseling case studies with qualitative methods; the subjects studied were two students from SMAN 2 Bae Kudus. The methods used in this study are interviews, observation and documentation in an in-depth way so that later you can obtain accurate data about the problem under study, namely the problem of intolerance behavior. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there are two factors that cause intolerance in students, namely internal factors and external factors. There are several factors that cause MF to behave intolerantly, namely not liking informatics lessons even with the teacher, feeling uncomfortable in class, and often talking to himself with his classmates or around his bench when the lesson is in progress. While the factors that cause JI to behave intolerantly are feeling bored with math lessons, not liking math lessons, sleeping during class, and playing on their own cellphones when lessons are in progress, Therefore, what makes MF and JI counselees behave intolerantly is not respecting and respecting others, not introspecting himself, not paying attention to and listening to his teacher, talking to himself and playing in class when lessons begin, and imposing the will of others. After carrying out individual counseling using a behavioristic approach, the counselee's behavior contract technique can eliminate his bad behavior and change it to a better one.

Abstract

This research aims to increase students' social interactions through the application of 3 Magic Words ("sorry," "please," "thank you") in group guidance using the sociodrama method. The research subjects were six class X APHP students at SMKN 3 Madiun in the odd semester 2024-2025. Using a Counseling Guidance Action Research  approach with qualitative descriptive methods, the research results show an increase in the use of 3 Magic Words after implementing sociodrama. In the first cycle, although students were still awkward, there was improvement. In the second cycle, more complex scenarios made the use of the 3 Magic Words more consistent, creating a more harmonious and collaborative classroom atmosphere. Sociodrama has proven to be effective in encouraging the use of the 3 Magic Words, which ultimately improves the quality of social interactions.
