Abstract

This study aims to understand the education system in Denmark, compare it with the education system in Indonesia, and identify positive aspects that can be adopted for the development of the education system in Indonesia. This study was conducted through a literature approach using critical, dialectical, and scholastic methods. Relevant data and theories were obtained from various literatures, then analyzed in depth. The results of the study indicate that the education system in Denmark is based on socio-cultural values ​​such as freedom of speech, self-control, equality, and mutual trust and respect. In addition, education in Denmark has many positive aspects that support the development of students, both in academic and non-academic aspects, with the positive aspects being much more dominant than the negative aspects. These findings indicate that the Danish education system offers various inspirations that can be adapted to improve the quality of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

The education decentralization policy is a strategic effort to encourage regional autonomy in managing education in order to create a system that is more democratic and meets local needs. This article examines the opportunities and challenges of implementing education decentralization policies in Indonesia. Opportunities that arise include increasing the efficiency, effectiveness and relevance of education programs through the involvement of the community and local government. However, various challenges are also faced, such as regional capacity gaps, weak inter-governmental coordination, and lack of community participation. This study provides an overview of the importance of a collaborative approach in policy implementation, including capacity building, transparency and accountability, to realize higher quality and more equitable education throughout Indonesia.

Abstract

Each nation has a different education system in each country, according to the cultural values ​​of the region. To see the character of a nation, it is necessary to see how children's education is based on the cultural values ​​it adheres to. And Japan is known as a nation with discipline, hard work, and independence that is educated from an early age. The nature of the Japanese people becomes like that because it is formed through the way parents in Japan educate their children in the family environment. This study aims to reveal the system or way parents in Japan educate their children. The length of this study is important when considering the fact that Japan has now become a developed country and has strong economic stability and security. The role of character that shapes the mental attitude of the Japanese people is an important factor. The position and function of the family in the character education of the Japanese people as the leading sector. Parents as role models for their children and parents are the first madrasah for their children, in introducing and instilling the values ​​of empathy, discipline, ethics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the lyrics of the song Gala Bunga Matahari by Sal Priadi using an objective approach to reveal the structure, meaning, and semantic construction. Descriptive qualitative research methods with text analysis techniques are used to dissect the linguistic and stylistic components of the lyrics. The focus of the study includes aspects of language structure, use of diction, metaphors, and semantic patterns in the lyrics. The results of the study show that the lyrics of the song Gala Bunga Matahari have a high complexity of meaning with the use of rich natural metaphors. The structure of the lyrics displays a dichotomy between hope and reality, with sunflowers as the main symbol representing the dynamics of human life and feelings. The analysis found five main themes: longing, hope, emotional transition, uncertainty, and resilience. Linguistically, the lyrics use a metaphorical style of language with a high level of abstraction, presenting a complex relationship of meaning between natural objects and subjective experiences. Semantic construction shows the songwriter's ability to transform personal experiences into universal narratives. The conclusion of the study reveals that the lyrics of "Gala Bunga Matahari" are a symbolic representation of the human emotional journey, with sunflowers as a fundamental metaphor in expressing the dynamics of feelings and hopes.

Abstract

Poetry is a beautiful language expressed in written words based on a person's thoughts and feelings. Poetry is a literary work that is imaginative and contains a similarity in meaning with other uses, so the meaning contained in poetry remains hidden behind words, metaphors, and aesthetics and is conveyed. Not everyone can understand the meaning of poetry. In reading poetry, it is necessary to repeat it several times to understand the meaning of the poem because the language in poetry has a broad, implicit meaning and is difficult to interpret. Therefore, readers must understand how to study poetry with knowledge so that they can understand the meaning of the poetry conveyed. The poem "Bloody Night" uses strong and metaphorical language that depicts tragedy and suffering, making it interesting to study. This becomes a reader's attraction to study the poem and make it a research material. The purpose of this research is to analyze the meaning of the poem entitled "Bloody Night" by Ozy V. Alandika and convey the contents of the poem in detail so that readers can know the meaning conveyed through the existence of this research. This research is also beneficial for readers to further develop literary works in the form of poetry. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method that examines the content of the meaning of the poem "Bloody Night". Thus, this research will reveal the implicit meaning of the poem presented by the poet. In addition, the researcher analyzes this poem using a mimetic approach. Mimetic is an approach in literary criticism that considers literary works as imitations or fictions of real life.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze how the lyrics of the song Waqf Keikhlasan by Rafli Kande represent social realities and events that have occurred using a mimetic approach. This approach views literary works as artificial or imitation of reality. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with literature study data collection techniques. The data analysis technique is descriptive analysis. Descriptive data analysis is used to explain and organize data systematically to increase the researcher's understanding of the problem to be researched and present it as a finding.

Abstract

The short story Kembang Mayang has a theme centered around women's emancipation. It follows a forward plot, although there is a brief flashback in the middle of the story. However, the flashback does not affect the overall storyline; it merely strengthens it. The main character in Kembang Mayang is Eka. The characters of Eka’s mother, father, Mulyo, and his seven younger siblings are secondary characters who primarily serve as supporting elements to the story. Eka is portrayed as a tough, responsible, and loving individual. The story takes place in the early morning before dawn in a house in Ciganjur. The author uses the third-person point of view, not using the pronoun "I," but instead referring to the main character by name. The short story employs a direct and simple language style, though it is occasionally interspersed with certain metaphors. Despite this, the style remains straightforward and clear.

Abstract

This study analyzes the extrinsic elements in Layla and Majnun, a masterpiece by Nizami Ganjavi, to explore the cultural, moral, and social contexts influencing the story. Using a library research method, the study examines the author's background, the values within the story, and the social conditions of 12th-century Persia. The findings reveal that the novel is deeply rooted in Nizami's spiritual and intellectual environment, reflecting themes of loyalty, sacrifice, and divine love influenced by Sufism. Furthermore, the social conflicts portrayed in the story highlight the tension between individual desires and societal norms, making it a timeless reflection of human experience. This research contributes to understanding how extrinsic elements enrich literary works and suggests further comparative studies to explore global literary traditions.

Abstract

PPDB is an important instrument in fulfilling the right to education, but its implementation is often colored by various problems such as non-objectivity, non-transparency, and unaccountability. This study analyzes the implementation of PPDB in 2024 to identify problems and formulate recommendations for improvement. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of PPDB in 2024 in West Java, identify emerging problems, and formulate recommendations for policy improvement to improve the objectivity, transparency, and accountability of PPDB. Research Methods This study uses a qualitative descriptive method by collecting data through mentoring, surveys, and observations of the implementation of PPDB in West Java. The results of the study show that despite improvements, the implementation of PPDB in 2024 in West Java is still far from ideal. Some of the problems found include: Unobjectivity: Late determination of technical instructions, inaccuracy of capacity data, and weak coordination of the committee. Non-transparency: Lack of technical socialization, lack of open complaint handling, and limited public monitoring space in the online PPDB application. Unaccountability: Lack of monitoring, reflection, evaluation, and preparation of reports. Based on the results of the research, there are several recommendations that need to be implemented in the implementation of the upcoming PPDB, including: local governments need to be more active in coordinating with Pusdatin to compile accurate graduate projection data and capacity.

Abstract

This research is to explore the urgency of using Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Indonesian language learning for vocational school students. The aim of this research is to identify whether the use of Generative AI can improve writing skills in Indonesian language material. The method used in the research is a qualitative method which is centered on an understanding and the observation techniques used. The results of the data received using this method are by holding several existing samples using 2 class samples, the first is the class with the use of AI in writing skills in learning Indonesian more with a percentage of 76.67% compared to the previous class but using the method and the same material with a gain of 28.57%. In conclusion, the use of Generative AI in learning Indonesian for vocational school students is an innovative approach that can significantly improve students' writing abilities. The research results provide concrete evidence that Generative AI technology has great potential to enrich students' learning experiences. Technological developments are very rapid in the world of education, students can easily access the availability of AI both to help in the learning process and in all existing aspects. The impact caused by the use of AI is that students are not only required to be creative in writing, but students are not willing to develop themselves with the ability to develop their ideas and ideas.
