Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of classroom management by teachers on the learning discipline of class XI students at HKBP Sidikalang Private Vocational School. The method used in this research is an inferential quantitative approach. The population is all class Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 40 items. The results of data analysis show that classroom management by teachers has a positive and significant effect on student learning discipline at HKBP Sidikalang Private Vocational School. Test the analysis requirements in this research using the normality test to obtain the Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.200, meaning it is greater than 0.05 (0.200 > 0.05) so it can be concluded that the research data is normally distributed. The results of the correlation test show that there is a positive relationship between variable Apart from that, the significant relationship test obtained a value of tcount= 6.753 > ttable(=0.05, dk=n-2=72)= 2.000, thus there is a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. The hypothesis was tested through a regression equation test, obtained the regression equation Y ̂=13.810+0.807 X and the regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 38.1%. Testing the hypothesis using the F test obtained Fcount > Ftable, namely 45.597 > 4.00. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. So it can be concluded that classroom management by teachers has a positive and significant effect on the learning discipline of class XI students at HKBP Sidikalang Private Vocational School.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the effect of the use of audiovisual media by PAK teachers on the learning interest of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Sianjur Mula at Samosir Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive and significant influence between the use of audiovisual media by PAK teachers on the learning interest of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Sianjur Mula at Samosir Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year. Descriptive and inferential quantitative research methods. The population of all class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Sianjur Initially in Samosir Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year who are Protestant Christians is 123 people. The sample was random (random sampling), namely 50% of the total population, namely 62 people. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire. The results of data analysis obtained: a) The value of rcount=0.576> rtable=0.254 and tcount=5.458> ttable=2.00030 shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between the use of audiovisual media by PAK teachers and the learning interest of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Sianjur Mula -starting with Samosir Regency for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. b) Regression equation. c) The determination test revealed that the magnitude of the effect was 33.18%. d) Hypothesis testing obtained Fcount=28.971>Ftable=3.15 then H0 (null hypothesis) is rejected and Ha (alternative hypothesis) is accepted. The research concluded that there was a positive and significant influence between the use of audiovisual media by PAK teachers on the learning interest of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Sianjur Mula at Samosir Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

This study examines the application of constructivism learning theory in fifth-grade mathematics. Constructivism emphasizes that students build knowledge through their own experiences via active, gradual engagement, where the teacher acts as a facilitator rather than a knowledge transmitter. Mathematics, essential for everyday life, should offer meaningful lessons that relate to real-world experiences. The constructivist approach consists of stages such as perception, exploration, discussion and explanation of concepts, and the development and application of concepts. The study aims to analyze the supporting media in the fifth-grade mathematics book, curriculum 2013 revision published by Erlangga, and assess its alignment with the constructivist learning stages. This qualitative study uses a library research approach, with the primary data sourced from the mathematics book and secondary data from relevant journals and studies. Data was collected through documentation, using a marking sheet to evaluate the book's compatibility with the constructivism stages. The results indicate that the book supports constructivist learning, providing media like pictures and videos accessible via QR codes. The book's content aligns well with the constructivist learning stages, with a 97.5% compliance rate, falling into the "very good" category.

Abstract

Representation is a description of something, someone, or an idea that is conveyed through written, visual, performance, or oral language. In literary works, language becomes the main tool for representation. This research aims to describe (1) a love story in the novel Dilan: Dia Adalah Dilanku Tahun 1991 by Pidi Baiq. (2) Expressions of love, sadness, disappointment, anxiety, regret and emotional reactions in the novel. The object in this research is the novel Dilan: He is my Dilan in 1991 by Pidi Baiq. This research is divided into two parts of the method, namely the approach and the type of research. The approach used is a qualitative descriptive approach using the theory of Literary Psychology. The results of the analysis in this study were only taken from a few quotes, focusing on the story, emotional reactions, and expressions of the characters. The conclusion in this research is that there is a unique romanticism in the novel, Dilan expresses his love for Milea in an unusual way, full of humor, and surprise, making their relationship feel colorful. This story depicts the sweetness of teenage love that is full of emotions, but also shows that maturity in making decisions is an important factor in a relationship.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the short story "Aku and Dia" by Putu Ayub using an objective approach. The research method used by researchers is descriptive qualitative research. The data source used is the short story "Aku and Dia" by Putu Ayub in the short story collection "Me, He, and They". The data collection technique used in this research is the reading and note-taking technique. Based on the results of data analysis, intrinsic elements were found in the form of theme, point of view, plot/plot, setting, characters and characterization, language style and message.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze aspects of feminism in the novel Wonder Women Rush by Septiana Nugraheni. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, with a feminist literary criticism approach. Data collection for this research was carried out by recording every data found in the novel Wonder Women by Septiana Nugraheni. Based on the results of data analysis, the following data was found. 1) Women are tough figures. 2) Women's independence in facing social pressure. 3) Women's multitasking ability. 4) Women's powerlessness against male power. 5) Women support other women. 6) Women must be brave in making decisions. This research emphasizes the need for awareness of the importance of gender equality and women's courage in making decisions for their own lives. This novel not only depicts individual struggles, but also reflects broader social dynamics related to women's emancipation. Therefore, the relationship between feminist theory and the novel "Wonder Women Rush" is interrelated. There are many problems about women in this novel that are related to feminist theory.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the intrinsic elements in the short story Jangan Salahkan Rahim Ibuku by Fitryani Lail using an objective approach. The research method applied in this analysis is a descriptive qualitative method. The data source for this research is the short story Jangan Salahkan Rahim Ibuku by Fitryani Lail. The data collection techniques used in this research include reading and note-taking methods. The data analysis technique employed is the content analysis of the short story Jangan Salahkan Rahim Ibuku by Fitryani Lail. The results of the study reveal intrinsic elements such as the theme, characters and characterization, point of view, plot, setting, language style, and moral message.

Abstract

This research analyzes the lyrics of the song "Rayuan Perempuan Gila" by Nadin Amizah using an expressive and pragmatic approach. The expressive approach focuses on expressing the songwriter's emotions, feelings and personal views, while the pragmatic approach emphasizes the communication function of the lyrics to the listener. The research was conducted using qualitative descriptive methods with literature study techniques and analysis of illocutionary speech acts. The research results show that the lyrics of this song contain various types of speech acts, namely assertive, directive, commissive, expressive and declarative. Assertive speech acts are used to emphasize the truth, directive to ask for a response from the listener, commissive to express promises or commitments, expressive to express emotions such as fear, and declarative to create new meaning through specific naming. Through this speech act, interesting communication is created between the author and the listener, so that the moral message about the importance of loving oneself and understanding the dynamics of social relationships is conveyed well. This research contributes to understanding how song lyrics can be a medium for self-expression.

Abstract

Song lyrics are often a channel for poets to express a variety of emotions, from love and happiness to sadness and anger. Song lyrics are also an expression of feelings by poets based on their personal experiences. The song lyrics that will be studied in this study are the song "Perempuan yang Sedang dalam Peluk" by Payung Teduh which is an expression of feelings of calm and anxiety experienced and felt by Mohammad Istiqomah towards life for his family which is his responsibility as a head of the family. Through an expressive and pragmatic approach, the researcher wants to explore how feelings of love and the complexity of relationships can be reflected in this work, as well as the life experiences that underlie it as objects of study using an expressive analysis of the pragmatic approach. By using the pragmatic theory framework of speech acts, this study analyzes how word choice, sentence structure, and social context contribute to creating emotional effects on listeners. The data for this study is an analysis of illocutionary speech acts in the lyrics of the song "Perempuan yang Sedang dalam Peluk" by Payung Teduh with documentation data collection techniques,content analysis techniques. Then the data sources in this study use secondary data sources. The results of this study indicate that there are five types of illocutionary speech acts found in the lyrics of the song "Perempuan yang Sedang dalam Pelukan", consisting of two types of assertive speech acts and three types of expressive speech acts.

Abstract

Islamic civilization during the time of Abu Bakar As-Siddiq was a period that played a key role in the early development of Islam. Abu Bakr, who was the closest friend of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, was the first Caliph of Muslims after the death of the Prophet. This journal explains Abu's role Burn in building Islamic civilization, which includes the spread of religion, collecting the Koran, financial and social policies, as well as an emphasis on justice and law. His leadership wisdom and the Islamic principles he implemented have helped form the basis for strong and sustainable Islamic civilization. This period plays an important role in determine the future of Islam and provides inspiration for the next generation to live a life in accordance with the noble values ​​of Islam.
