Abstract

Bumdes Barokah is a village business entity that operates in the business of selling goats. Since April 2021, BUMDes Barokah has experienced difficulties in generating income. This causes BUMDes Barokah not to run as expected so there was a need for a business strategy so that business activities at BUMDes could develop and BUMDes could achieve the desired results. The aim of this activity is to assist BUMDES in finding and implementing the right business strategy to increase sales. The technique used to find the right business strategy is by using SWOT analysis and the Business Model Canvas (BMC). The results of the SWOT analysis found that sales outside of holidays were low and there were competitors who could threaten the BUMDes goat sales business. It is hoped that the results of this activity can be an input for BUMDes in terms of business strategies to increase sales at BUMDes Barokah.

Abstract

This research focuses on preventing stunting as an effort to increase parents' awareness of children's nutrition. Stunting is a condition that results in chronic malnutrition, slow growth combined with weight and height that do not increase, so that stunting in babies and toddlers can be used as a sign of maternal and child health. The aim of this community service activity is to increase parents' understanding and knowledge in preventing stunting in order to prevent an increase in the number of children affected by stunting. The technique used is a socialization technique which includes lectures and distribution of leaflets. The method used is the one group pre-test and post-test experimental method. A pretest was given to participants at the start to find out parents' knowledge about stunting. A post-test was given to each participant at the end as part of the evaluation process with the aim of identifying participants after socializing their understanding of stunting. The research results showed that there was an increase in parents' knowledge about stunting after the socialization was carried out.

Abstract

The impact caused when the COVID-19 pandemic occurred resulted in learning program activities that had been implemented by schools in Indonesia using an online system. Therefore, this program was created to foster the development of effective teaching methods in increasing children's enthusiasm for learning by means of media-based learning. The government always renews the learning system through curricula that have been announced to various schools in Indonesia. Materially, students will get knowledge that is more flexible to follow the times, but many do not realize that children will feel bored and bored quickly in learning. This KKN program will develop innovations regarding learning using media such as using colorful cardboard, styrofoam, as well as several learning centers that are adjusted by the material to the media to be used. In addition, the system used in learning is a group consisting of 4 members, the aim is to build cohesiveness, socialization and a shared discussion space. Students are given the same task as given by the teacher, but the difference is using the media. Students are accompanied by members of KKN in carrying out the assigned tasks so that they understand and are directed in carrying out their duties. There are many students who are very active to find the right answer.

Abstract

Education is an important aspect of the development process in a country. In today's digital era, the basic knowledge of Islam in children is quite minimal. This can be seen directly from the didikan subuh activities that we have carried out, that most of the children still do not know about the basic knowledge of Islam, such as the pillars of Islam, the pillars of faith, the names of angels and their duties, daily prayers, and short surahs in the Koran. Based on this, our didikan subuh activity aims to provide basic Islamic knowledge to children in Tanjung Damai Village. The children involved are students of SDN 20 Siak Kecil. The method we use to deliver the material is by using infocus as a medium to attract children's attention. In addition, we also formed several groups to make learning more interactive. Through this activity, the results that have been achieved are the increase in children's knowledge about the basis of Islam.

Abstract

The background to assistance in processing and providing additional food as an effort to prevent stunting includes an in-depth understanding of the factors that cause stunting and how nutritional interventions can affect children's growth. Here is the background. The Importance of Optimal Growth in Children Under Five: Optimal growth in children under five is the key to ensuring they grow into a healthy, intelligent and productive generation.This problem formulation will help design studies or programs that are right on target and focus attention on key aspects that need to be improved to prevent stunting through assistance with food processing and providing additional food in Suka Asih Village, Tangerang District. a condition where a child has a height lower than the standard that should be appropriate for his age. Stunting prevention is a very important effort to ensure optimal growth and development of children. One effective strategy in preventing stunting is through assistance with food processing and providing additional food.

Abstract

Preserving mangroves in coastal areas is the key to maintaining environmental resilience, local economy and sustainability of coastal ecosystems. Plus, Buruk Bakul village, Bengkalis Regency has quite a large coastal area, so it needs conservation and awareness from the community in the mangrove planting movement on the coast so that the mangrove ecosystem is well maintained. Planting activities were carried out involving a combination of students and community organizations to preserve the natural coastal environment. The method used during the service was planting and maintenance using the mollenda and reiser method, namely ADDIE (analysis-design-developing-implement-evaluate) which had a big influence on planting mangroves in Buruk Bakul village.

Abstract

The use of traditional medicine by the community is generally only in the form of a decoction, this method is considered less effective and practical because the heating temperature is not controlled which can cause damage to the compounds in the plant. The service was conducted to increase the interest and skills of the community in Penyambaran Village, Karang Intan Subdistrict, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan Province on processing techniques and how to make good traditional medicine. The results showed an increase in community understanding with an average Post-test of 89.583 compared to an average Pre-test of 45.833. This shows that socialization has been able to increase community interest and understanding related to plants that can be used as traditional medicine, processing, packaging, storage, and drug registration.

Abstract

Stunting is a global health problem that affects the physical growth and development of children. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using Moringa leaf nuggets in preventing stunting in preschool children. The research method involved 20 children aged 4-8 years who received Moringa leaf nuggets as a daily supplement for 6 months. Child growth parameters, including height, weight, and head circumference, were measured at the beginning and end of the study. The results of the analysis showed a significant increase in the physical growth of children in. Moringa leaf nuggets have the potential to be an easily accessible and effective stunting prevention strategy. This research provides initial support for the use of Moringa leaves as a functional food ingredient in efforts to prevent stunting in preschool children. Further studies are needed to understand the mechanisms and long-term effects of using Moringa leaf nuggets in the context of stunting prevention

Abstract

Melati II Village, Perbaungan District, there are MSMEs that are objects of community service, namely MSMEs for making tempeh and cultivating maggot caterpillars. The purpose of this community service is (1) to educate on strengthening business management for Tempe MSMEs in Melati II Village, (2) to educate marketing strategies for Maggot Caterpillar MSMEs in Melati II Village. With the increasing understanding of MSME players about the importance of business management and marketing strategies, it is hoped that it will help their businesses to develop and compete better.

Abstract

When you are pregnant, most nutritional needs will increase. It is important for pregnant women to ensure that the food they consume is balanced. The aim of this community service program is to increase pregnant women's understanding of nutrition during pregnancy. This activity was carried out on May 7 2022 through counseling using leaflets to pregnant women before and after the counseling. This counseling was carried out in Kassi - Kassi, attended by 10 pregnant women who implemented the Covid-19 Health Protocol. The results of the counseling showed an increase in understanding of 50%. Before the counseling, only 3 pregnant women (30%) had good understanding, but after this activity, the number increased to 8 pregnant women (80%) who had good understanding. We hope that in future counseling, there will be more focus on nutrition during the first, second and third trimesters of pregnant women.
