Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to obtain data on the level of vocabulary mastery of Mnadarin 7th grade students of SMP Islam Athirah 2 Makassar. The variables in this research are the level of vocabulary mastery in Mandarin and the factors that influence the vocabulary mastery of Mandarin. The population in this research were all 7th grade students of SMP Islam Athirah 2 Makassar who took specialization subjects in Mandarin with the total of 10 students. The research data were obtained by giving tests of Mandarin vocabulary mastery test and Likert scale to determine the factors that influence Mandarin vocabulary mastery. The data analysis technique is using the percentage technique. The results showed that the level of vocabulary mastery of 7th grade of SMP Islam Athirah 2 Makassar was in the good category (84.3%) with the factors that most influenced students mastery of Mandarin vocabulary were external factors in the aspect of teacher quality with a percentage of 93% and factors that were less influential were internal factors in the intelligence aspect with a percentage of 60%.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this research was to determine the level of ability to read and understand German texts for students of class XI MIPA 3 of SMA Negeri 1 Tolitoli. This research uses a descriptive method. For data collection, a written test was used. The test consists of multiple choice, matching test and true-false test. Furthermore, the data were analyzed by using the percentage technique. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIPA at SMA Negeri 1 Tolitoli which consisted of 5 classes with 180 students. The sample of this study was the students of class XI MIPA 3 as many as 26 students who were selected using random sampling. The results of this study indicate that the ability to read and understand German texts in class XI MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Tolitoli is in the good category (80.5%).

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to obtain data on the ability to use imperative sentences in German students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Palopo and the factors that affect students' ability to use imperative sentences. This type of research is descriptive. The population of this study were students of class XI MIPA 6. The sample of this study was class XI MIPA 6 which amounted to 34 students. The sample of this study was selected using total sampling. The research data were obtained through tests using imperative sentences and questionnaires. The results showed that the students' ability level in the use of imperative sentences in German was in the sufficient category (66%). The results of the questionnaire stated that the external factor that most influenced students' ability to use imperative sentences was family support that could improve students' German language skills (67.6%) and the internal factor that most influenced students' ability to use imperative sentences was that students had high motivation in following lessons. German especially imperative sentences (50%).

Abstract

Abstrak.Health and beauty ads are one of the most ads of interest in Indonesia. Beauty is every woman's desire, and the concept of beauty in Indonesia has been changed from time to time. YOU C 1000 is a healthy drink contains 1000 mg of vitamin C that offers a different concept of beauty to the public, especially to Indonesian women. This study aims to analyze the way of YOU C 1000 audiovisual ads in shaping the Indonesian women beauty concept by using the Fairclough’s Critical Discourse Analyses (CDA) method. The findings of this study are divided into three dimensions of analysis, those are the microstructural (text), mesostructural (discourse), and macrostructural (sociocultural practices). It can be indicated from the ads that YOU C 1000 has been advertised by usingeasy-to-remember and catchy slogan, using Miss Universe as the powerful icon of women beauty, conveniently choosing the form of product to consume with a refreshing taste and packed in suitable packaging, using Indonesian images (its nature, culture, and people) and some of the Indonesian typical music in most of the ads, constantly articulating the product benefit and comparing it to other similar product, and also it is using some linguistic features that give strong opinion supported by general facts, and all of that ways is to deliver the ideology that beauty is start by being healthy inside and by that it will automatically radiate the true beauty outside and that one of the ways of being healthy is by consuming YOU C 1000 once a day regularly.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to obtain data and information about the effectiveness of the Poster Session type cooperative learning method in learning German vocabulary for class XI students of SMAN 1 Campalagian, Polewali Mandar Regency (virtual). This type of research is an experimental research that uses a vocabulary mastery test in the application of the Poster Session Type Cooperative Learning Method. Data were analyzed by t-test. The population of this study were students of class XI SMAN 1 Campalagian which consisted of 5 classes. The sample used is a random sample (Random Sampling). The number of samples is 2 classes, namely class XI IPS 5 as an experimental class consisting of 30 students and class XI IPS 2 as a control class consisting of 30 students. The results of data analysis showed th=7.07 > tt=2.002 at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that the Poster Session method was effective in mastering the German vocabulary of class XI students of SMAN 1 Campalagian, Polewali Mandar Regency (virtual).

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to describe students' ability to improve learning outcomes by using methods (Think, Talk, Write) in students of class X IPS 1 SMA Negeri 16 Makassar. This class action research has four stages of procedure that is. The subject in the study was class X IPS 1 sma Negeri 16 Makassar who numbered 36 students. Then the data is analyzed using quantitative and qualitative description analysis. The results showed that the activities shown by students from activities carried out in cycles 1 to cycle 2 showed different attitudes. After the action is carried out in cycle 2 students become more active in learning, students are not only silent as in cycle 1 but students also follow the instructions of researchers, besides that students also show interest and enthusiasm in the learning process. Student spirit is more visible and students more often ask related questions that are not yet understood. Student test score results at the time of student presiklus activities that reached KKM as many as 2 students or 5%, in cycle 1 student activities that reached KKM as many as 11 students or 44%, in cycle 2 students who reached KKM as many as 22 students.Keyword: Learning model, Learning outcomes, Think Talk Write (TTW)

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to analyze and describe the forms of verbal expression disorders in the form of problematic utterances of the character Amandus in the film Honig im Kopf. For this purpose, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive type of research. Data were analyzed from two sources, namely primary data sources in the form of utterances of the character Amandus from the film Honig im Kopf and secondary data sources in the form of scientific journals, articles and psycholinguistic books relevant to the research topic raised. Collecting data using the technique of listening and noting. The results of the data collection were then analyzed using the Miles & Huberman interactive analysis model. Furthermore, the data analysis results into the forms of symptoms of verbal expression disorders due to Alzheimer's disease based on the theory of Klimova & Kuca (2016) and the forms of symptoms based on the theory of Chaer (2015). From the results of the study, it was found that there were 32 data that met the symptoms of Alzheimer's disease according to the theory of Klimova and Kuca (2016) and were divided into four forms. Furthermore, it was found as many as 32 data that overcome the symptoms of Alzheimer's disease Chaer (2015) theory and divided into three forms. Then it can be said that there are 64 data that are divided into two theories of Alzheimer's disease, namely with impaired verbal expression of the character Amandus.

Abstract

Abstract. This research is class action research consist of two cycles and is performed virtually. The aim of this research is to get information about the planning, the process and the result of using Sprachblasen on comic media in German speaking skills of student from XI MAN 1 Makassar. The data are qualitative and quantitative. The qualitative data are collected through the observations and the quantitative data through the result of speaking tests in the first and second cycles and analyzed through the percentage technique. The result of this research shows that the students' speaking skills is 70 in the first cycle and in the second cycle is 78. It means the students in class XI MAN 1 Makassar by using Sprachblasen on the comic media has increased the German speaking skills (8%)

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of oral skills and academic achievement of German class XI IPA 1 SMAN 2 Makassar through domino cards. This research is a classroom action research. The direction of action is determined jointly by researchers, teachers, and students. The object of this research is the students of class XI IPA 1 SMAN 2 Makassar. The research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle includes planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting.Data collection techniques in the form of class observations, interviews, field notes, questionnaires, documents, and tests of German oral skills. Using qualitative descriptive data analysis. The results showed that: (1) The positive attitude of students in learning German oral skills increased by 16.56%, showing a polite, disciplined, caring, responsible, tolerant and positive attitude. (2) The increase in the oral German language skills of students of class XI IPA 1 SMAN 2 Makassar by 14.63% through Domino cards.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this research is to know about the increase in reading comprehension through PAIKEM of the students of class XI IPA at the SMA PGRI Ge’tengan Tana Toraja. This research is a class action research that consists of two cycles and each cycle consists of two meetings. The subject in this research is the class XI IPA SMA PGRI Ge’tengan student. The data analysis techniques in this research are qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative data were obtained from observations and quantitative data from the results of student evaluations. The results of the student evaluation showed that reading comprehension of German text had increased with an average of 77 points in cycle I and 91 in cycle 2. From this it can be concluded that the use of the PAIKEM of reading comprehension German text by PAIKEM of the students of class XI IPA can increase.
