Abstract. The research was conducted to obtain data and information about the ability to read and understand Mandarin in Class XII SMA Insan Cendekia Syech Yusuf Gowa. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive. The population in this study were students of class XII SMA Insan Cendekia Syech Yusuf Gowa which consisted of 2 classes with a total of 47 students. Sampling using random sampling with a sample size of 1 class consisting of 22 students. The research data were obtained through a reading skills test to understand Mandarin. Data analysis using average and percentage search techniques with results that show sufficient (75.2%). Thus, this study shows that the ability to read and understand students of class XII SMA Insan Cendekia Syech Yusuf Gowa is sufficient (75.2%).

Abstract. This research was conducted to obtain data and information about students' ability to write simple sentences in German using Photo Media. This research is an experimental research. The population of this study were all students of class XI IPS SMAN 11 Makassar which consisted of 3 classes with a total of 120 people. The sample of this study consisted of two classes as follows: class XI IPS 1 with 20 students as the experimental class and class XI IPS 3 with 20 students as the control class. Samples were selected randomly (Random Sampling). The research data was obtained through a simple sentence writing test with the theme Die Familie. Data analysis by t-test. The results of data analysis showed tcount 4.78 > ttable 2.03 at a significant level of 0.05. The results of this study indicate that the use of Photo media is effective in writing simple sentences in German for class XI IPS 1 students of SMAN 11 Makassar.Keyword: Effectiveness, Photo Media, Writing sentences, German

Abstract. This research is Classroom Action Research which consists of two cycles. This study aims to determine the planning, process, and results of Word Wall Learning Media in improving German speaking skills of students of class XI IBB 1 SMA Negeri 1 Polewali. This research data consists of quantitative data and qualitative data. Quantitative data was obtained through the results of the speaking skills test in cycle I and cycle II and qualitative data was obtained through observation. The data were analyzed using the percentage technique. The results showed the average score obtained by students in the first cycle reached 58.26% and the second cycle reached 84.73%. These results indicate that the use of Word Wall learning media improves the German speaking skills of class XI IBB 1 students of SMA Negeri 1 Polewali.

Abstract. This study aims to describe the interpretation of the symbols of misery and the symbols of loyalty contained in the poetry anthology Aku Ini Binatang Jalang by Chairil Anwar using the Hermeneutic theory of Paul Ricoeur. This study used qualitative research methods. The data in this study are poetry quotes in the form of sentences that describe symbols of misery and symbols of loyalty experienced by Chairil as a writer in nine poems. The data source in this research is the poetry anthology Aku Ini Binatang Jalang by Chairil Anwar. The data collection techniques in this study were reading techniques and note taking techniques. The analysis of this research was carried out by identifying, classifying, analyzing, and describing symbols of misery and symbols of loyalty in the poetry anthology Aku Ini Binatang Jalang by Chairil Anwar with a review of Paul Ricouer's Hermeneutics.

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to obtain data about the effectiveness of online Kumon learning model in reading skill in German in class XI SMA Negeri 8 Makassar. This research was a ‘true experiment’ research. The population of this study were students of class XI SMA Negeri 8 Makassar which consisted of 9 classes of 297 students. The sample technique that used was random sampling. The subject of this research was students of class XI SMA MIPA 6 which consisted by 33 students as the experimental class and students of class XI IPS 1 which consisted by 33 students as the control class. The results of data analysis using t-test was tcount 6.49> ttable 1.999 at α 0.05 level. The results showed that the online Kumon learning model was effective in the reading ability of German students of class XI SMA Negeri 8 Makassar.

Abstract. This research aims to describe the influence of constructivistic models on improving the ability to write lecture texts for students in class XI of IPS Sma Negeri 16 Makassar. This research is a class action study. The subject in this study was the students of class XI ips sma Negeri 16 Makassar which amounted to 36 students. This research data was collected from tests of the ability to write lecture and observation texts. Furthermore the data is analyzed using quantitative description analysis and qualitative analysis. The results showed that the activities shown by students from activities that had been carried out in cycles 1 to 2 showed different attitudes. After the action is carried out in cycle 2 students become more active in learning, students are not silent and passive in cycle 1 but students follow the instructions given by researchers, besides that students also show interest and enthusiasm in the learning process. The spirit of students in the learning process is very visible and students more often ask related questions that are not yet understood. Student test scores at the time of student presiklus activities that reached KKM as many as 2 people or by 5%. In cycle 1 activities, students who reached KKM as many as 10 students or by 27% in cycle 2 students who reached KKM as many as 32 students or as many as 88%.Keyword: Reading, Talk Text, Constructivistic model

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to obtain data and information about students' speaking skills using the Field Trip method. The purpose of this study was to obtain data and information about students' speaking skills using the Field Trip method. This study uses a true experimental design. Data were analyzed by inferential statistical analysis with t-test. The population of this study were students of class XI MAN 1 Makassar which consisted of six classes of 150 students. The Samples was 40 students, namely 20 students of class XI MIA 1 as the experimental class and 20 students of class XI MIA 3 as the control class. The sample used is a random sampling. The results of data analysis showed t count 3.8 > t table 2.03 at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that the use of the Field Trip method was effective in speaking skills of class XI students of MAN 1 Makassar.

Abstract. The study aims to determine the types of conjugation errors of students in XI MIPA 3 class simple German-language essays. The type of research is descriptive and qualitative. The analytical method used is the error analysis method proposed by Ellis. The data of this research are simple essays written by students that contain conjugations. The data source of this research were students in XI MIPA 3 of SMAN 1 Polewali, which amounted to 30 students. Data were collected through a German writing test. The results of the data analysis showed that there were 86 errors of conjugation that appeared in the test. In Schwache Verben there are 17 types of errors and in Starke Verben there are 11 types of errors

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Tabuspiel media in learning German vocabulary for class XI MIA students of SMA Negeri 9 Makassar. The type of research was a quasi-experimental (nonequivalent control group design). This study consists of two variables, namely the independent variable and the dependent variable. The independent variable was the use of Tabuspiel media and the dependent variable was student learning outcomes, namely mastery of German vocabulary. The population of this study was 60 students of class XI MIA SMA Negeri 9 Makassar, class XI MIA 5 as the experimental class and class XI MIA 6 as the control class. The sample used is total sampling. The instruments used in this study were multiple choice questions and matching questions. Data analysis used the Independent Sample T-test which showed that the value of tcount > ttable 3,822 > 2,001717 and the value of sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05 at a significance level of 0,05. This showed that Tabuspiel media is effective in learning German vocabulary for students of class XI MIA SMA Negeri 9 Makassar.Keywords: Media, Tabuspiel, vocabulary learning, German.

Abstract. This research purpose the value of character building in the drama Nathan der Weise, and its relevance to German lessons at SMA. The data analysus technique used is content analysis. This analysis technique consists of there stages. They are data reduction, data display and conclusion. Based on the result obtained from the Fed analysis that there are six values in the Drama Nathan der Weise that are relevant to the value of character building snd the German lesson Kurikulum 2013 at SMA. The six values are wisdom, tolerance, self-confidance, humalitiy, mutual help, and friendship.
