The study aimed to determine whether there was an influence of logical-mathematical intelligence on students' physics learning outcomes through the Problem Solving learning method. This type of research was quantitative research with the pre-experimental. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The sample of this study was 29 students of class X MIPA 1. The research instrument was a logical-mathematical intelligence test and a physics learning outcome test. The results of the analysis of the correlation test between the variables X and Y obtained rxy = 0.41. This shows that the influence of logical-mathematical intelligence (X) on learning outcomes (Y) is in the medium category. The logical-mathematical intelligence test obtained showed that the average score of the pretest was 5.69 and the posttest was 19.13. Meanwhile, in the physics learning result test, it was obtained that the average score of the pretest was 10.93 and the posttest was 14.52. The results of simple linear regression analysis showed that the variation of logical-mathematical intelligence scores on learning outcomes with the estimated function Ÿ = 5.08 + 0.40X. Based on data analysis with a significance level of 5%, db for numerator 1 and db for denominator 27 obtained Fcount 5.36 > Ftable 4.21. So, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected, meaning that there is a positive and significant influence of logical-mathematical intelligence on the learning outcomes of physics through the Problem Solving learning method.

The study aimed to determine whether there was an effect of the STAD type cooperative learning model using the puzzle question card media on the physics learning outcomes of junior high school students. This type of research was the quasi-experimental with the equivalent pretest posttest group design. The sampling technique used in this research was purposive sampling. The research sample was 25 students of class VIII B as the experimental group and 25 students of class VIII E as the control group. The instrument for learning physics was in the form of multiple-choice test questions. The results test showed the average value of the experimental group was 20.02 with a standard deviation of 2.73 and in the control class, the average value was 16.82 with a standard deviation of 2.81. Hypothesis test t-test (two-tailed) obtained tcount = 4.08 and ttable = 2.02 at the level of significance = 0.05. It shows that tcount is outside the H0 acceptance region. So, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the STAD type cooperative learning model using the puzzle question card media on the physics learning outcomes of junior high school students.

The study aimed to determine the effect of the CTL approach in Jigsaw type cooperative learning on physics learning outcomes for tenth-grade students of SMAN 4 Palu. This type of research was quasi-experimental. The research population was the students of class X IPA SMA Negeri 4 Palu. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling, with the research sample being class X IPA 4 as the experimental group and X IPA 3 as the control group. The instrument for learning physics was in the form of a multiple-choice test. Testing of student learning outcomes data using t-test statistical analysis with prerequisites, namely normality test and homogeneity test. The results of data analysis obtained that the average value of the experimental group was 15.08 with a standard deviation of 8.69 and the average value of the control group was 12.06 with a standard deviation of 8.48. Based on hypothesis testing with t-test statistics, it was obtained tcount = 4.25 and ttable = 1.67 at a significance level of = 0.05. This result means that the value of tcount is outside the area of acceptance of H0. So, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the CTL approach in Jigsaw type cooperative learning on physics learning outcomes of tenth-grade students of SMAN 4 Palu.

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of the recitation method in the cooperative learning model to improve the learning outcomes of heat and its transfer. This type of research was quasi-experimental. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The samples of this research were students of class VII A and VII B of SMP Negeri 3 Bulagi. Class VII A is the experimental group and class VIIB is the control group. The learning outcome test instrument was a multiple-choice test. Based on the results of data processing, the N-gain value in the experimental group was obtained at 45.97%, which was in the medium category. Then for the control group, the N-gain value was obtained at 33.43%, which was also in the medium category. These results indicate that the learning outcomes of physics in the experimental group are higher than those in the control group. The results of statistical calculations from the average difference test using t-test (two-tailed) obtained tcount > ttable (tcount = 4.22 and ttable = 2.02) at a significance level of 5% and dk = 45, thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the recitation method in the cooperative learning model to improve the learning outcomes of heat and its transfer.

The study aimed to find out the misconceptions of Newton's Law in class XI MIA 1 students at SMA Katolik Santo Andreas Palu. The data collection instrument was a multiple-choice test with a total of 15 questions regarding Newton's Law material accompanied by a Certainty of Response Index (CRI) test to determine the respondent's level of confidence in answering the questions. The test result data was analyzed to determine the percentage of misconceptions in each given question. The conclusion of this study is that the students of class XI MIA 1 at SMA Katolik Santo Andreas Palu experienced misconceptions which were included in the moderate category with an average percentage of 40.30%. Thus, it is necessary to pay attention to students in the form of providing examples of applications in everyday life, balancing teaching between concepts and calculations, giving explanations to students in accordance with existing concepts, asking back lessons that have been learned, and providing remediation.

This study aimed to describe a guided experiment to change students' understanding of voltage and current in a direct current circuit. The study was qualitative research. The subjects were physics education students. The experiment was followed by 16 students. Data collection techniques were test and interview. The results of the pretest showed that many students had misconceptions about the concept of voltage and current in a direct current circuit. After conducting the experiment, the students answered the given test again. The test results show that the experiment carried out could improve students' understanding of the concept of direct current electric circuits. So, it can be concluded that guided experiments can change students' understanding of voltage and current in direct current circuits.

The objective of the research is to improve the students’ vocabulary through the implementation of mind mapping technique. This research was conducted by using classroom action research. Additionally, the data in this research were taken from 30 seventh grade students of SMPN 2 Ampana Kota. In collecting the data, the researcher used observation checklist for the students’ and the teacher’s performances, vocabulary test, and field notes. Vocabulary test was used as the main instrument, supported by observation and field notes as the supporting instruments. The result showed that there was improvement of the students’ scores on cycle II. The implementation of the two cycles showed the enriching of students’ achievement. In the test of cycle I, almost all students were failed. By changing the steps of the implementation of mind mapping technique, all students were successful. Additionally, most of the students’ scores in the cycle II belong to “very good category” and all of them are qualified to be “successful.” This is because the emphasis of using mother tongue when teaching mind mapping makes the students improve their vocabulary. In conclusion, the implementation of mind mapping technique improved the students’ vocabulary.

The purpose of implementing this service is (1) to strengthen the ability of elementary school teachers in using concrete media to instill the concept of integer operations (2) the mistakes made by trainees in using concrete media to instill the concept of integer operations. The participants of this training were teachers of SD Gugus V, East Palu District with a total of 25 participants. The service method used is presentation, demonstration, training and question and answer. The results of the service implementation show that all participants are very enthusiastic about participating in this training activity, and all training participants have obtained strengthening abilities to use concrete in learning integer arithmetic operations. However, the findings of the questionnaire showed that there were still trainees who experienced errors in using the posinega card and number line media. Errors in using posinega cards occur in subtraction operations, namely the use of neutral cards so that subtraction operations can be carried out. While using the number line, the error found is not changing the direction of the arrow when the operation is subtraction. If the arrows are not changed, then the forward (addition) and backward (subtract) steps will result in an error. Respondents also still find it difficult to distinguish the sign of the subtraction operation from the sign of a number (negative number), so that when the respondent is working on subtracting positive and negative integers or negative and negative integers, there are still many respondents who make the wrong number line demonstration.

Character values can be attached to students through learning and habituation (habituations) for students to love and care for the campus environment so that they are expected to become student characters. The learning in PPKn based on the Green Constitution is expected to raise the rights and obligations of citizens as contained in the constitution and other laws that discuss environmental conservation. This research was conducted in the third semester of students in the study program of PPKn, Teacher Training and Education Faculty Tadulako University, totaling 75 people consisting of 2 classes. Data were collected by giving pretest and posttest questions. The pretest is given to students in the form of the multiple-choice written test. Before the treatment was given, the initial condition of the students still showed a bad habit such as littering in the classroom and outside the classroom. Students are apathetic by not taking the initiative to immediately pick up or clean up trash. This condition indicates that students still lack a sense of belonging to a clean environment. The success rate of student learning in the pretest, which is 72%, is categorized as very low and after being given material on the Green Constitution are 94.6% of students understand the concept of caring for the environment.

The traditional ritual of Kayori Pompaura in Marana village, Sindue district, Donggala regency, Central Sulawesi Province is one of the traditional rituals of the Kaili Rai tribe in Sindue. This Kayori Pompaura traditional ritual has different characteristics from other traditional rituals. Kayori Pompaura's traditional ritual is carried out by humming. Kayori is an anonymous type of traditional song. The hallmark of Kayori is that it is always hummed by involving many people. Therefore, Kayori requires good cooperation in every implementation. The purpose of this study is to describe the social values contained in the traditional ritual of Kayori Pompaura Sindue (Social Values Learning). The results of the study can be used as learning material for social values in schools by looking at the aspects of social values contained in the implementation of the Kayori Pompaura Sindue traditional ritual. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research because the Kayori Pompaura traditional ritual has a natural background and the data is in the form of words (oral and written). The social values contained in Kayori Pompaura's oral literature are material values, vital values, and spiritual values. In the aspect of spiritual values, it is divided into four parts, namely the value of goodness, religious value, value of truth and value of beauty.
