This study aimed to determine the percentage and description of students' misconceptions about circular motion. The subjects of this study consisted of 19 class XII students of SMA Negeri 5 Palu, then 5 respondents were selected for interviews. The instrument used was a reasoned multiple-choice test accompanied by a column of confidence level in answering questions (Three-Tier Diagnostic Test) totaling 17 questions. The data obtained were analyzed through a descriptive-qualitative approach by referring to the reasons and level of confidence as well as student interviews in answering questions about the concept of circular motion. The results showed that the level of students' misconceptions using the Three Tier Diagnostic Test was still relatively low with an average percentage of 34.05% when compared to the average number of students who did not understand the concept with an average percentage of 47.67%. In general, the misconceptions experienced by students in the circular motion material are varied for each concept tested.

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in student motivation in class XI TKJ SMKN 1 Palu through group guidance services. The subjects of this study were students of class XI TKJ B SMKN 1 Palu, totaling 28 people. This counseling guidance action research consists of two cycles. The instrument used is a student learning motivation questionnaire using positive statement sentences, so that the answer always (SL) has a score of 4, often (SR) has a score of 3, rarely (JR) has a score of 2 and never (TP) has a score of 1. Success criteria This action research is an increase in students' learning motivation which is marked by the achievement of indicators of learning motivation, namely the average student reaches 75%. Based on the data analysis carried out, the results obtained in the first cycle, students' learning motivation is in the high category with a percentage of 7.14%, the high category is 57.14% while the medium and low categories are 21.42% and 14.28% respectively. . In the second cycle there was an increase where the students' motivation was in the very high category and the high category with the percentages of 46.42% and 53.58%, respectively. The medium, low and very low categories were no longer found in cycle II. The increase in student motivation in class XI TKJ SMKN 1 Palu occurred because of the application of the group guidance approach.

This study aims to find out the influence of group-based blended learning towards the listening skill. The research design used was experimental one group pre- and post-tests. The study sample consisted of 22 students of class X SMA An Nur Buuts Palu which was drawn purposively. Learners were given pretest and then treatment both face-to-face teaching mode and virtually and posttest after the treatment conducted. The data were analyzed using Descriptive Statistics Analysis through SPSS for windows version 22. The results of the data analysis show that the mean of the pretest (N = 23) is 34.96 and the standard deviation is 3,391, the mean of the posttest (N = 23) is 42.09 and the standard deviation is 4,368. The results of pretest and posttest are normally distributed based on the results of the Shapiro-Wilk analysis (N < 50) sig. 0.070 > 0.05 for pretest and 0.064 > 0.05 for posttest. From the results of the Paired Samples T-Test test, it is found that the mean of the pretest (34.96) is lower than the mean of the posttest (42.09), the correlation coefficient is sig. 0.059 > 0.05 with a significance level of sig. 0.791 > 0.05, and the Paired Samples T-Test results show a significance value of sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05. This data shows that there is a significant difference between the results of the pretest and the posttest. It implies that the application of group-based blended learning significantly influences the listening skills of the students.

The purpose of this study was to determine the types of errors in fourth grade students of SDN 4 Tentena in solving length unit conversion problems. This type of research is qualitative research. The subjects of this study were 3 students taken from 13 fourth grade students of SDN 4 Tentena. The results showed that the types of errors made by fourth grade students of SDN 4 Tentena in solving unit length conversion problems seen from the mathematical object were fact errors, conceptual errors, principle errors, and skill/procedural errors. The factors that cause students to make mistakes in solving unit length conversion problems are: students cannot change the problem in story problems into mathematical form, students' skills to solve problems are still lacking, students do not understand the concept of unit length conversion, students have not mastered the use of arithmetic operations, and learning activities carried out at home.

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the Open Inquiry learning model on student learning outcomes in physics. This type of research was a quasi-experimental research using the non-equivalent Pretest-posttest design. The population of this study were all students of class XI SMAN 1 Pasangkayu. The sampling technique used in this study was Purposive Sampling. The instrument to measure the learning physics was a validated multiple-choice test. The test of physics learning outcomes obtained showed that the average score of the experimental group was 15.16 higher than the control group, which was 10.56. Hypothesis test t-test (two parties), obtained tcount = 1.01 and ttable = 1.98 at the level of significance = 0.05. This means that the value of tcount is in the area of rejection of Ho and acceptance of H1. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Open Inquiry learning model on student learning outcomes in physics subjects for class XI SMAN 1 Pasangkayu.

This study aims to analyze students' ability to interpret thermodynamic process graphs. The instrument used was a thermodynamic graph test question as many as 13 items in the form of reasoned multiple choice. The methodology used was qualitative. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 5 Model Palu in the odd semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The subjects of this study were students of class XII IPA 4. Interview respondents were selected based on the results of the analysis of students' answers. The results of the analysis show that the students' abilities are in the very low category with an average percentage of 33.68%. The ability to interpret symbols is 42.01%, connecting observations is 31.77%, finding patterns is 30.21%, and determining the amount is 30.73%. Students' difficulties in interpreting graphs, namely, considering the graph as an object, confusion in interpreting the position of the direction of the arrow in the graph, not knowing the meaning of the symbols of magnitude in the graph, having difficulty interpreting the area under the graph, unable to distinguish graphs, and unable to see the question as a whole.

This study aims to know the effect of the Problem Based Instruction learning model with Guided Note Taking strategy on the physics learning outcomes. This type of research was a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent pretest-posttest group design. The population of this study were all students of class X SMAN 4 Palu. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling in which class X IPA 3 as the experimental group and class X IPA 7 as the control group. The physics learning outcome instrument was in the form of a multiple choice test that has been validated by an expert validator. The test of physics learning outcomes obtained showed that the posttest average score of the experimental group was 15.10 with a standard deviation of 3.07 and the control group was 12.97 with a standard deviation of 3.10. By using the t-test hypothesis test (two parties), obtained = 2.66 and = 1.67 at the real level = 0.05. This means that the value is outside the reception area. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Problem Based Instruction learning model with Guided Note Taking strategy on the physics learning outcomes of class X students at SMAN 4 Palu.

This study aimed to know the effect of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) type cooperative learning model on physics learning outcomes. This type of research was a quasi-experimental design with a non-randomized pretest-posttest control group. The population of this study were all students of class X SMA Negeri 5 Palu. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling with the research sample being class X MIPA 3 as the experimental group and class X MIPA 4 as the control group. The instrument used is a test of learning outcomes in the form of multiple-choice questions. The increase in the average N-Gain in the experimental class was 50.88% while in the control class it was 22.68%. Based on the hypothesis test t-test (one party) obtained tcount = 2.88 and t0.975 (67) = 2.00 at the real level = 0.05. This means that the value of tcount is outside the acceptance area of H0. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of student learning outcomes using the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) type cooperative learning model on physics learning outcomes in class X SMA Negeri 5 Palu

Problem solving cannot be separated from learning Physics. This study aims to determine the ability of physics problems solving on non-uniform linear motion topic. This research was descriptive research. The research subjects were 10 students of class X IPA 2. Data obtained through student ability tests and interviews. The results showed that the students' ability to solve physics problems on non-uniform linear motion topic was included in the good category with an average value of 75.62 with the percentage of each indicator, which were 77.50% the ability to translate sentence questions into symbols, 75.00% ability to understand the formula that will be used to answer the questions, 71.67% ability to use formulas to answer questions and 78.33% ability to use units correctly.

Online learning in higher education during the Covid-19 pandemic needs an alternative assessment that can measure students’ skills appropriately. The students tend to be assessed only by using formative and summative assessments. Assessment in online learning should consider students’ performances. Literature studies were conducted to collect relevant articles in journals and books to answer how to implement the performance assessment in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The results showed that using the performance assessment can assess student skills in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The performance assessment that is suitable to be implemented by using oral presentation, practical work, project investigation, group discussion, and portfolio in online learning. The performance assessment can measure content knowledge as well as incorporate higher-order thinking, scientific process, communication, and collaboration.
