Jurnal Abdi Inovatif memiliki fokus utama pada pengembangan dan penyebarluasan ilmu pengetahuan teknologi dan seni menjadi produk yang diketahui secara langsung serta dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat. Lingkup tulisan dalam Jurnal Abdi Inovatif (Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat) adalah seluruh hasil kegiatan pengabdian yang mencakup: 1. Pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan teknologi dan seni menjadi produk yang secara langsung dapat dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat. 2. Penyebarluasan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi dan seni budaya menjadi produk yang perlu diketahui dan dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat. Usaha ini dapat dilakukan melalui berbagai cara seperti memberikan penyuluhan, menyediakan percontohan, memperagakan, dan menerbitkan media publikasi. 3. Penempatan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi secara benar dan tepat sesuai dengan situasi masyarakat dan tuntutan pembangunan. 4. Pemberian bantuan kepada masyarakat dalam mengidentifikasi masalah yang dihadapi serta mencari alternatif pemecahannya dengan mempergunakan pendekatan ilmiah. 5. Pemberian jasa pelayanan profesional kepada masyarakat dalam berbagai bidang permasalahan yang memerlukan penanganan secara cermat dengan menggunakan keahlian dan keterampilan yang belum dimiliki oleh masyarakat yang bersangkutan.

Abstract

Abstract Organic waste is an environmental problem that is often a significant concern for the community. Organic waste is the processed waste of living things, both plants and animals, such as household waste, such as food, fruits, and vegetables. One of the practical and sustainable ways of waste management is to turn it into environmentally friendly products. About this problem, the socialization of organic orange peel waste and training in making "Eco Citrus" products were conducted for the Ciwaru Masjid Environment community, Serang, Banten. The methods used include preparation, socialization, training, evaluation, and mentoring. The result is that this community service activity has succeeded in empowering the Ciwaru Mosque Environment community to manage organic waste and create sustainable solutions. Active community participation and positive responses to the "Eco Citrus" product demonstrate the approach's success. This activity not only provides direct benefits in the form of natural cleaning products but also has long-term impacts in the form of increased environmental awareness, community skills, and behavioral changes towards a more sustainable lifestyle. However, the sustainability of this program requires further support. Continuous assistance and education are needed to ensure that the community continues to utilize orange peel waste and produce "Eco Citrus" independently. In addition, support from the local government and other related parties can help expand the impact of this program to other areas. Keywords: orange peel, organic waste, community empowerment, environmentally friendly products Abstrak Limbah organik merupakan masalah lingkungan yang sering menjadi perhatian utama masyarakat. Limbah organik adalah sisa olahan dari makhluk hidup baik tumbuhan dan hewan seperti hasil sampah dari rumah tangga, contohnya makanan, buah-buahan serta sayuran. Salah satu pengelolaan limbah yang efektif dan berkelanjutan adalah dengan mengubahnya menjadi produk yang ramah lingkungan. Berkaitan dengan permasalahan tersebut, maka dilakukan sosialisasi pemanfaatan limbah organik kulit jeruk, dan pelatihan pembuatan produk "Eco Citrus" kepada masyarakat Lingkungan Ciwaru Masjid, Serang, Banten. Metode yang digunakan meliputi persiapan, sosialisasi, pelatihan, evaluasi, dan pendampingan. Hasilnya adalah kegiatan pengabdian ini telah berhasil memberdayakan masyarakat Lingkungan Ciwaru Masjid dalam mengelola limbah organik dan menciptakan solusi yang berkelanjutan. Partisipasi aktif masyarakat dan respon positif terhadap produk "Eco Citrus" menunjukkan keberhasilan pendekatan yang diterapkan. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya memberikan manfaat langsung berupa produk pembersih alami, tetapi juga memberikan dampak jangka panjang berupa peningkatan kesadaran lingkungan, keterampilan masyarakat, dan perubahan perilaku menuju gaya hidup yang lebih berkelanjutan. Namun, keberlanjutan program ini memerlukan dukungan lebih lanjut. Diperlukan pendampingan dan edukasi berkelanjutan untuk memastikan masyarakat terus memanfaatkan limbah kulit jeruk dan memproduksi "Eco Citrus" secara mandiri. Selain itu, dukungan dari pemerintah daerah dan pihak terkait lainnya dapat membantu memperluas dampak program ini ke wilayah lain. Abstract

Abstract Saureinu is a village located in the interior of Sipora Island, Mentawai Islands Regency. The majority of the village's population works as banana farmers. This community service activity aims to build the Saureinu Village community's capacity to manage banana potential into high-value products, support the village's economic independence, and strengthen the community-based economy. The methods used include a participatory approach with stages of potential and problem surveys, technical training on banana product diversification, and training in small business management and marketing through digital platforms. The results of this program show significant success in improving the skills of the Saureinu Village community in processing bananas into various innovative products with economic value. Products such as banana chips with multiple flavors, banana jam, nuggets, and frozen bananas ready to fry are the main results of the training and mentoring provided. These products have been successfully developed and marketed locally and through a wider distribution network, opening up new market opportunities for the community. In addition, this program positively impacts community income due to the sale of processed banana products. Participants also gain a deeper understanding of small business management, from raw material management to marketing strategies, including digital marketing relevant to current market needs. With the increase in skills and knowledge, the community is more confident in developing businesses based on local potential, which ultimately supports the creation of community-based economic independence. This program proves that processing local agricultural products can effectively improve community welfare in a sustainable manner. Keywords: Saureinu Village, marketing, banana products, small businesses Abstrak Saureinu merupakan salah satu desa yang terletak di pedalaman Pulau Sipora, Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai. Mayoritas penduduk desa ini berprofesi sebagai petani pisang. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan membangun kapasitas masyarakat Desa Saureinu dalam mengelola potensi pisang menjadi produk bernilai jual tinggi, mendukung kemandirian ekonomi nagari, serta memperkuat ekonomi berbasis komunitas. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pendekatan partisipatif dengan tahapan survei potensi dan permasalahan, pelatihan teknis diversifikasi produk pisang serta pelatihan manajemen usaha kecil dan pemasaran melalui platform digital. Hasil program ini menunjukkan keberhasilan signifikan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat Desa Saureinu dalam mengolah pisang menjadi berbagai produk inovatif yang bernilai ekonomis. Produk-produk seperti keripik pisang aneka rasa, selai pisang, nugget dan pisang beku siap goreng menjadi hasil utama dari pelatihan dan pendampingan yang diberikan. Produk-produk tersebut tidak hanya berhasil dikembangkan, tetapi juga telah dipasarkan baik di tingkat lokal maupun melalui jaringan distribusi yang lebih luas, membuka peluang pasar baru bagi masyarakat. Selain itu, program ini memberikan dampak positif berupa peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat sebagai hasil dari penjualan produk olahan pisang. Peserta juga mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang manajemen usaha kecil, mulai dari pengelolaan bahan baku hingga strategi pemasaran, termasuk pemasaran digital yang relevan dengan kebutuhan pasar saat ini. Dengan adanya peningkatan keterampilan dan pengetahuan tersebut, masyarakat lebih percaya diri dalam mengembangkan usaha berbasis potensi lokal, yang pada akhirnya mendukung terciptanya kemandirian ekonomi berbasis komunitas. Program ini membuktikan bahwa pengolahan hasil pertanian lokal dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat secara berkelanjutan. Abstract

Abstract This community service activity aims to educate and assist the RW 19, Antapani Tengah Village community in adopting a zero-waste lifestyle by transforming household waste management. The activity was carried out with a participatory approach, involving the community in community service activities. The methods included counselling on zero waste, sorting, and composting organic waste. The activity results showed increased understanding in all aspects tested after counselling and training. The highest increase occurred in waste processing (40%), followed by organic waste sorting (36%), and general knowledge (24%). This shows that the education or training provided effectively increases participants' understanding of organic waste management. This transformation is expected to be the first step in consistently implementing a zero-waste lifestyle and positively impacting environmental quality and community welfare. Keywords: lifestyle, community empowerment, waste sorting, composting, organic waste Abstrak Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasi dan mendampingi masyarakat RW 19 Kelurahan Antapani Tengah dalam mengadopsi konsep gaya hidup zero waste melalui transformasi pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif, yang melibatkan masyarakat secara aktif. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan konsep zero waste, pemilahan, dan pengomposan sampah organik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pemahaman pada semua aspek yang diuji setelah dilakukan penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Peningkatan paling tinggi terjadi pada pengolahan sampah (40%), diikuti oleh pemilahan sampah organik (36%), dan pengetahuan umum (24%). Ini menunjukkan bahwa edukasi atau pelatihan yang diberikan efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman peserta terkait pengelolaan sampah organik. Transformasi ini diharapkan menjadi langkah awal dalam mengimplementasikan gaya hidup zero waste secara konsisten dan memberikan dampak positif terhadap kualitas lingkungan serta kesejahteraan masyarakat. Abstract

Abstract Waru Brilliant Thematic Village, located in Bojong Renged, Teluk Naga District, Tangerang Regency, is one of the best thematic villages that successfully obtained a grant from Bank Indonesia (BI) in 2024. This village previously faced challenges in increasing productivity and community welfare due to limited equipment that supports local economic activities, especially in the agricultural and food processing sectors. The lack of appropriate tools is a significant obstacle in optimally developing village potential in terms of food security and community economic empowerment. Through a grant in the form of proper tools from BI, efforts to improve welfare, food security, and the local economy have begun to be realized. Universitas Insan Pembangunan Indonesia (UNIPI) facilitates and moderates the entire series of activities, from training on the use of tools to assistance in implementing the technology in the field. This activity's implementation method begins with identifying problems in the community, followed by the preparation and submission of a grant proposal to BI. After the proposal is approved, a grant is handed over in the form of appropriate tools to the community, which is then followed by the implementation stage and technical training on the use of the tools. UNIPI also actively assists the adaptation and application of the technology to ensure the program's success. This paper elaborates on the program's process, impact, and sustainability, highlighting the transformative role of appropriate technology in community development. Keywords: thematic village, food security, community development, appropriate technology Abstrak Kampung Tematik Waru Brilliant di Bojong Renged, Kecamatan Teluk Naga, Kabupaten Tangerang, berhasil memperoleh hibah dari Bank Indonesia (BI) pada tahun 2024. Kampung ini sebelumnya menghadapi tantangan dalam meningkatkan produktivitas dan kesejahteraan masyarakat akibat keterbatasan peralatan yang mendukung kegiatan ekonomi lokal, khususnya dalam sektor pertanian dan pengolahan hasil pangan. Kurangnya alat tepat guna menjadi hambatan utama dalam mengembangkan potensi kampung secara optimal, baik dari sisi ketahanan pangan maupun pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat. Melalui hibah berupa alat tepat guna dari BI, upaya peningkatan kesejahteraan, ketahanan pangan, serta perekonomian lokal pun mulai diwujudkan. Universitas Insan Pembangunan Indonesia (UNIPI) memfasilitasi dan memoderasi seluruh rangkaian kegiatan, mulai dari pelatihan penggunaan alat hingga pendampingan implementasi teknologi tersebut di lapangan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dimulai dari proses identifikasi permasalahan di masyarakat, dilanjutkan dengan penyusunan dan pengajuan proposal hibah ke BI. Setelah proposal disetujui, dilakukan penyerahan hibah berupa alat tepat guna kepada masyarakat, yang kemudian diikuti tahap implementasi serta pelatihan teknis penggunaan alat. UNIPI juga secara aktif mendampingi proses adaptasi dan penerapan teknologi tersebut untuk memastikan keberhasilan program. Tulisan ini mengelaborasi proses, dampak, dan keberlanjutan program, menyoroti peran transformatif teknologi tepat guna dalam pembangunan masyarakat. Abstract

Abstract Tanah Karo, at the foot of Mount Sinabung, is known as a producer of Arabica coffee. Coffee harvests can still be increased in quantity and quality through good post-harvest handling. Farmers can use to produce quality coffee by providing counseling and training in post-harvest handling of coffee so that the products produced are of high quality and can increase farmers' income. Counseling and training were attended by 20 coffee farmers from Cinta Rakyat Village, and counseling materials were provided on the stages of post-harvest activities, including selecting ripe cherry fruit, processing it with a pulper, fermentation, and drying it. Then, continued training using a pulper to peel the skin and coffee fruit, soak in water, wash, and dry in the sun until the water content is 15% -16% to be stored before being sold. The results of the evaluation of training participants who felt very satisfied were 55% stated that they were satisfied by 45% and participants were able to understand the material given by 85%. Keywords: arabica coffee, Tanah Karo, post-harvest, farmer training, counseling Abstrak Tanah Karo di kaki Gunung Sinabung dikenal sebagai penghasil kopi Arabika. Hasil panen kopi masih dapat ditingkatkan baik kuantitas dan kualitas melalui penanganan pascapanen yang baik. Cara yang dapat dilakukan oleh petani untuk menghasilkan kopi yang berkualitas, yaitu dengan memberikan penyuluhan dan pelatihan dalam penanganan pascapanen kopi agar produk yang dihasilkan berkualitas dan dapat meningkatkan pendapatan petani. Penyuluhan  dan pelatihan diikuti 20 petani kopi dari Desa Cinta Rakyat dengan materi penyuluhan tentang tahapan kegiatan pascapanen meliputi pemilihan buah Cherry masak pohon, pengolahan dengan pulper, fermentasi dan pengeringan. Lalu, dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan menggunakan pulper untuk mengupas kulit dan buah kopi, merendam d alam air, mencuci dan mengeringkan di bawah sinar matahari sampai didapatkan kadar air nya sebesar 15%-16% untuk bisa disimpan sebelum dijual. Hasil evaluasi terhadap peserta pelatihan yang merasa sangat puas sebesar 55%, menyatakan puas sebesar 45% dan peserta dapat memahami materi yang diberikan sebesar 85%. Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the sales of Indihome services in the Leuwiliang region, Bogor Regency, through Instagram Business optimization training for marketing personnel. The primary issues faced by the partner include limited digital literacy, uneven internet access, lack of understanding of relevant content creation, and resource constraints. The implementation methods involved interactive presentations, hands-on content creation practice, group discussions, and individual mentoring, with a total duration of 4 hours. The training was attended by 30 participants, most of whom were unfamiliar with Instagram Business features. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in participants' understanding, evidenced by the creation of new business accounts and the ability to produce engaging promotional content. Participants also actively engaged in customer interaction simulations and discussions on localized marketing strategies. However, continuous mentoring is required to ensure consistent application of the knowledge gained. Recommendations include follow-up training, regular mentoring sessions, and collaboration with Telkom to provide stable internet infrastructure. This program is expected to serve as a model for empowering digital marketing personnel in rural areas

Abstract

HIV-AIDS remains a major global public health challenge and a leading cause of mortality in developing countries, including Indonesia. At the local level, prevention and early detection services still show considerable gaps. As a vulnerable group, adolescents contribute a substantial portion of new cases, making school-based education an important prevention strategy. This community service initiative aims to evaluate the success of the PERAHU Program (Enhancing Reproductive Health and HIV/AIDS Education for Adolescents through Humanization and Cadre Development Efforts) as a multimodal educational model that combines interactive education, reflective simulation, and advocacy. The target participants were 42 Red Cross Youth (PMR) members at SMPN 2 Wagir, Wagir District, Malang Regency, using a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. All participants completed the program (100% attendance), with the average score increasing from 73.33 to 93.57 and the median score rising from 75 to 90. The PERAHU Program effectively enhanced peer educators’ knowledge and strengthened school support for the sustainability of HIV-AIDS education, indicating its potential as a participatory model to support HIV elimination goals in Indonesia.

Abstract

This community service program was implemented to address low digital literacy among rural youth and to provide limited access to Artificial Intelligence (AI) training. Although smartphone usage among teenagers is quite high, it remains largely focused on entertainment and social media, so the productive use of digital technology has not developed to its full potential. To address this, the activity was carried out with youth from Pajawan Kidul Village, Lebakwangi District, Kuningan Regency, aiming to improve their basic understanding of AI and digital literacy skills in rural areas. The implementation method used a participatory approach through socialization, AI practice, mentoring, project-based learning, and evaluation using pre- and posttests. During this process, participants received training on using various AI-based applications, including ChatGPT, QuillBot, Canva AI, and Tome AI. In total, 30 village youth were involved in all program activities. As a result, the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of AI concepts and their application in daily activities. The average score of participants increased from 57.44 before the training to 82.66 after the activity ended, an increase of approximately 43.9%. Notably, there was significant growth in participants' understanding of how AI can support more productive activities. Beyond improving participants' skills, this activity led to five AI-based mini-projects and the formation of the "Youth Tech Club Pajawan Kidul" learning community to sustain digital learning in the village. In summary, AI training that emphasizes hands-on practice and a contextual approach can be an effective way to strengthen digital literacy while reducing the technology gap among rural youth.

Abstract

The efficiency of electrical energy use in public buildings such as mosques is often neglected due to lack of continuous technical supervision, which can lead to operational waste from negligence in turning off electronic devices. This community service activity aims to design and evaluate an Internet of Things (IoT)-based electrical energy monitoring and control system at the Nashrulhaq Banjaran Mosque using an ESP32 microcontroller. The system integrates ZMPT101B, ACS712, and DHT22 sensors for real-time acquisition of voltage, current, temperature, and humidity, with data visualized on the Blynk platform. During March–July 2025 implementation period, the system successfully collected 197,415 telemetry data entries. The evaluation results showed a weekly energy consumption of 2,814 kWh and a projected monthly operational cost of IDR 17,400 for the monitored load. With the remote-control feature, partners can instantly mitigate energy waste, potentially saving more than previous manual bills. Although data transmission reliability reached 100% (Packet Loss 0%), the Quality of Service (QoS) analysis recorded an average delay of 3,702.89 ms, indicating the need for further local network optimization to improve control responsiveness.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) constitute one of the key sectors contributing to regional economic growth. However, many MSME owners have not yet obtained halal certification due to their limited understanding of the applicable regulations, certification procedures, and inadequate digital literacy in utilizing online certification systems. This issue is also evident among MSMEs in Majalengka Regency, particularly those operating in the food and beverage sector. This community service program aimed to enhance the knowledge and readiness of business actors in fulfilling halal certification requirements through the optimization of the role of halal product process assistants. The program was implemented through several activities, including socialization of halal certification regulations and requirements, digital literacy training on the use of the Halal Information System (SiHalal) application, and direct assistance in preparing and completing the necessary documents for halal certification. The program was conducted over a period of three months and involved 50 MSME participants. The results indicated an improvement in participants' understanding of halal regulations and halal certification procedures, as reflected in the increase in average pretest and posttest scores. In addition, participants demonstrated improved ability to prepare business administrative documents systematically and successfully registered accounts on the SiHalal application as an initial step in the halal certification process. Nevertheless, several challenges related to the use of digital technology were identified, particularly among participants aged over 40 years, highlighting the need for more intensive assistance. Overall, the mentoring activities proved effective in enhancing the readiness of MSME actors to undertake the halal certification process while simultaneously strengthening their capacity to utilize digital technology in supporting more competitive and sustainable business development.
