Abstract

The low motivation of inmates of Class IIA Kuningan Correctional Facility in participating in the independence coaching program. This study aims to determine the motivation of prisoners in participating in independence coaching activities, as a strategy to increase prisoner motivation. This research uses a qualitative method by analyzing the data obtained from interviews and observations made at the Kuningan Class IIA Prison. Data collection techniques using primary sources and secondary sources. The results showed that prisoners who are motivated by independence coaching activities are prisoners who have the desire to move forward so that they have certainty of the future, while unmotivated prisoners are due to a lack of willingness to move forward, and do not know what kind of conditions they want after the prison term is over.

Abstract

Simultaneous village head elections (PKDS) are a form of democracy implemented in Indonesia, where all villages in a region simultaneously conduct elections for village heads at the same time. This research utilizes a normative juridical approach by referring to the legislation governing PKDS. The analysis shows that the implementation of PKDS is based on the principles of democracy and village autonomy regulated by the applicable laws. Clear and precise regulations regarding the stages, procedures, and mechanisms of PKDS provide a strong foundation for the implementation of this process. However, there are several challenges including coordination among relevant institutions, public awareness, understanding, and participation in the election process, as well as fairness in the treatment of candidates and voters. This study provides recommendations including enhancing socialization and education to emphasize the importance of public participation in village head elections, improving coordination among relevant institutions, and strengthening oversight to ensure fairness and transparency in the election process. The findings of this research are expected to serve as a reference for the government and stakeholders in enhancing the effectiveness and integrity of PKDS in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang persepsi remaja tentang konten LGBT pada aplikasi TikTok di Desa Sikapas Kecamatan Muara Batang Gadis Kabupaten Mandailing Natal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi remaja mengenai konten LGBT pada aplikasi TikTok. Populasi penelitian seluruh remaja yang berusia 13-19 tahun yang berjumlah sebanyak 172 orang. Sampel penelitian berjumlah sebanyak 44 orang yang di ambil secara acak. Pengumpulan data melalui angket. Data analisis secara deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa remaja memiliki persepsi yang berbeda-beda, ada yang berpersepsi secara positif dan ada yang berpersepsi secara negatif. Persepsi di ukur melalui 3 unsur yaitu: unsur kognisi, unsur afeksi, dan unsur konasi. Unsur kognisi (pengetahuan dan pemahaman remaja mengenai perkembangan eksistensi LGBT pada aplikasi TikTok). Unsur afeksi (tanggapan remaha terhadap kegiatan sehari-hari kelompok LGBT baik secara individu ataupun dengan pasangannya guna meningkatkan eksistensinya di aplikasi TikTok), dan unsur konasi (penilaian remaja terhadap perkembangan eksistensi kelompok LGBT yang semakin meningkat di aplikasi TikTok).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the rationality of decision-making by wives of inter-provincial truck drivers in households in the city of Medan. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data in this research was collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique uses 3 actions, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Determining informants in this research was carried out using snowball sampling so that 5 informants were obtained, all of whom were wives of cross-provincial truck drivers. The research results found that the rationality of decision-making by wives of cross-province truck drivers includes financial management, meeting primary and tertiary needs, occupational health and safety, children's education, and social activities. The results of this research are in line with James S. Coleman's rational choice theory, which states that as long as a person's actions aim to achieve their goals, rational choice theory considers these actions to be rational, as reflected in the research results, that every decision taken by the wife is based on a specific goal.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan fondasi penting bagi perkembangan individu dan masyarakat, namun pendekatan tradisional seringkali tidak mampu mengatasi tantangan-tantangan kompleks yang dihadapi oleh pendidikan modern. Artikel ini mengusulkan pemikiran kritis terhadap pendidikan dengan pendekatan inovatif untuk masa depan, dengan fokus pada identifikasi tantangan dalam pendidikan tradisional, eksplorasi potensi dan kelebihan pendekatan inovatif, serta analisis dampak dan peluang yang ditawarkan oleh pendidikan inovatif.Melalui pendekatan kritis, artikel ini menyoroti pentingnya evaluasi mendalam terhadap efektivitas, relevansi, dan dampak negatif yang mungkin timbul dari pendidikan inovatif. Dengan mempertimbangkan kelebihan seperti peningkatan keterlibatan siswa, pengembangan keterampilan masa depan, dan responsibilitas terhadap perubahan sosial, penulis menekankan pentingnya pemikiran kritis sebagai landasan yang kuat dalam mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan pendidikan inovatif yang efektif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The establishment of a Special Agrarian Court is often the most common problem faced by communities related to land. These problems can be grouped into three categories, namely: uncertainty over land rights, monopoly over land ownership, and the sacrifice of economically weak groups for land tenure interests. One of the reasons why decisions related to land cannot be implemented is because there are several decisions that have permanent legal force but conflict with each other regarding the land object that is being disputed. The purpose of this research is to achieve justice in dealing with agrarian conflict problems, a special institution is needed. who can run the justice mechanism properly. A study has proposed the establishment of an Agrarian Court as a judicial body that focuses on resolving agrarian disputes, with the authority to conduct examinations, trials, and make decisions related to these conflicts. The method used in this research is normative law. The technique applied in this study is juridical. normative that utilizes a legal and conceptual approach.

Abstract

The development of information technology has brought significant changes to the world of education, including in history learning methods. Application-based learning provides a more interactive and effective learning experience. Traditional batik, which has developed over the past centuries, has produced various types and patterns of traditional batik that are unique to every region in Indonesia. Indonesian batik is very popular in various countries. Batik as a cultural heritage from our ancestors needs to be preserved so that it does not become extinct over time. This research aims to create a learning application to introduce batik originating from Indonesia. The application was built using Windows Visual Studio, making it easier for users to run the application and understand the information.

Abstract

The high incidence of diarrhea in infants is a very serious problem that needs to be solved. One of the factors to reduce the risk of children developing diarrhea due to bottle-feeding is the presence of good and correct knowledge about bottle-feeding hygiene carried out by mothers. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge about milk bottle hygiene and the incidence of diarrhea in infants aged 6-12 months in the Simpang Agung Health Center Working Area, Central Lampung Regency in 2024. The scope of this research is the scope of pediatric nursing. This study used quantitative methods with analytic design and cross sectional approach. The population in this study amounted to 67 mothers who had babies aged 6-12 months. The sample to be taken from the population is 40 mothers using purposive sampling technique. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that the Simpang Agung Health Center in Central Lampung Regency in 2024, Most mothers had poor knowledge about the hygiene of milk bottles as much as 47.5% and children who experienced diarrhea as much as 45.0%. Based on the results of statistical tests, the p-value is 0.018 or p-value 0.05, which means that there is a relationship between maternal knowledge about the hygiene of milk bottles with the incidence of diarrhea in infants aged 6-12 months in the Simpang Agung Health Center Working Area, Central Lampung Regency in 2024. The results of this study can be used as information for health workers at the Puskesmas to conduct socialization to the visiting community regarding knowledge and behavior about the use of good milk bottles.

Abstract

The desired divorce or divorce status can be achieved if it is carried out in accordance with existing procedures. Such as, the conditions on how a relationship is allowed to divorce, the reasons put forward are valid or not, the procedures followed are appropriate or not, this is very important to pay attention to. The author will analyze the Court Decision in a divorce lawsuit which was rejected because the evidentiary requirements were not fulfilled. dispute: case study of the Binjai District Court. The method used in this research uses qualitative research methods, namely case studies with a normative legal research or doctrinal research approach, using secondary data. In divorce cases, the plaintiff must be able to prove that the plaintiff is involved in a dispute that fulfill the divorce requirements according to applicable law. In Indonesia, the requirements for divorce are regulated in Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage. One of the grounds for divorce is the existence of a dispute that cannot be reconciled or it could be said to be a prolonged conflict between husband and wife. The court rejected the divorce lawsuit because the requirements for proving the dispute were not fulfilled. This decision shows how important the principles of evidence and legal certainty are in divorce cases. Divorce cannot be granted if there is no strong evidence that the dispute cannot be resolved.
