Abstract

This research aims to find out whether Empowerment and Teamwork influence Affective Commitment in Producer Cooperatives in Pekanbaru City. To find out whether Empowerment and Teamwork influence the Performance of Management in Producer Cooperatives in Pekanbaru City. To find out Affective Commitment influences the Performance of Management in Producer Cooperatives in Pekanbaru City. To find out whether Empowerment has an effect on Management Performance through Affective Commitment in Producer Cooperatives in Pekanbaru City. To find out how teamwork influences management performance through affective commitment in producer cooperatives in Pekanbaru City. Hypothesis testing uses the Smart-PLS test tool. The data analysis method uses Path Analysis. The results of the research are that Empowerment and Teamwork have a significant effect on Affective Commitment and Management Performance. Affective Commitment has a significant influence on Management Performance. Indirectly, Empowerment through Affective Commitment has a significant influence on Management Performance, and indirectly Teamwork through Affective Commitment has a significant influence on Management Performance.

Abstract

The health of students on campus is often threatened by stress and unhealthy living habits, such as poor sleep patterns or lack of physical activity. Students' health is important to their achievement and well-being. By using AI and machine learning algorithms such as Random Forest and Support Vector Machine (SVM), we can analyze health data more quickly and accurately. This helps detect problems early and provide timely assistance. Early identification of students who have the potential to experience health problems, so that timely intervention can be carried out. This research uses quantitative methods by collecting from various sources related to the use of AI and machine learning algorithms in analyzing student health at Medan State University. Data was collected through a survey at Medan State University, covering daily habits such as sleep patterns, physical activity and stress levels. With the results of this analysis, campuses can design health policies that are more effective and appropriate to student needs. It is hoped that this research can contribute to improving the health and well-being of students in the campus environment, as well as preventing more serious health problems in the future.

Abstract

The declaration of a state of emergency by a President is an important instrument in maintaining state stability and security in crisis and emergency situations. The President's authority in handling emergencies raises many debates about the limits of his power in taking extraordinaire actions to protect national interests. The purpose of this study is to analyze and understand the existence of the President's authority in determining a state of emergency. This research uses normative juridical research methods by collecting data from various sources such as the constitution, laws and regulations, court decisions, and related literature. The results of this study show that the President's authority in determining a state of emergency is related to three main aspects, namely the initial decision, the implementation of emergency measures, and restrictions on constitutional rights. The President has the authority to determine a state of emergency based on serious threats to national security or territorial integrity.

Abstract

Universal Health Coverage (UHC) merupakan sistem penjamin kesehatan yang memastikan Setiap warga dalam populasi memiliki akses yang ada terhadap pelayanan kesehatan promotif, preventif, kuratif, dan rehabilitatif bermutu dengan biaya terjangkau. Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Riau, BPJS Kesehatan, dan seluruh fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan di provinsi riau bekerjasama untuk mengoptimalkan percepatan program Universal Health Coverage (UHC) agar masyarakat mendapatkan pelayanan kesehatan yang mudah dan sederhana. Program Universal Health Coverage (UHC) bisa mencover 144 jenis penyakit dan Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Riau tidak melakukan identifikasi data jumlah kasus yang telah ter cover oleh program ini. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis implementasi program UHC serta mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis faktor penghambat dari implementasi program UHC di Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Riau. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori implementasi dari Goerge C. Edward III yang menggunakan 4 indikator utama yaitu Komunikasi, Sumber Daya, Disposisi, dan Struktur Birokrasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi Program Universal Health Coverage (UHC) di Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Riau belum berjalan maksimal, terutama komunikasi yang berjalan belum optimal dan sumber daya yang tidak efektif dan efisien dikarenakan ada beberapa faktor yang menghambat terlaksananya program tersebut yaitu tenaga kesehatan yang kurang, sarana prasarana dan dana anggaran yang kurang memadai. Demikian juga dengan kurangnya komitmen dan mispersepsi antar kepala daerah/pemerintah daerah.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of the young generation of Karo ethnicity in preserving the Karo language, especially amidst the challenges of modernity. The Karo language, as part of the cultural identity of the Karo ethnic group, is experiencing a shift in usage among the younger generation due to the influence of modernization, urbanization and the dominance of national and international languages. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method, which utilizes various written sources such as scientific journals and academic articles. Through this method, researchers examine the factors that influence the awareness, attitudes and actions of the younger generation in preserving the Karo language. The research results show that although the younger generation's awareness of the importance of the Karo language is quite high, the practice of using this language is still limited. The main challenges faced include the dominance of Indonesian and foreign languages, lack of support from family, and the influence of digital technology. However, with the right strategy, such as the integration of formal and informal education and the use of digital media, efforts can be made to preserve the Karo language. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the development of local language preservation policies, including the Karo language.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kajian literatur peneliti tentang Hubungan Kebiasaan Membaca dengan Kemampuan Public Speaking pada Peserta Didik di Sekolah Dasar, dengan adanya tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh informasi atau gambaran bagaimana kebiasaan membaca dengan memiliki kemampuan yang baik pada public speaking yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan literatur dengan memperoleh data dari buku dan jurnal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, menunjukkan adanya korelasi positif antara kebiasaan membaca dan kemampuan public speaking. Implikasi temuan ini adalah pentingnya memperkuat kebiasaan membaca sejak dini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara di depan umum pada peserta didik di Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

The Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia in cassation case Number 172 K/Pdt.Sus-HKI/2024 provided in-depth legal considerations regarding the trademark dispute between JOLLIBEE FOODS CORPORATION and PT Tatalogam Lestari. This decision confirms that the "JOLIBI" mark belonging to PT Tatalogam Lestari was registered in bad faith and is substantially similar to the "JOLLIBEE" mark belonging to JOLLIBEE FOODS CORPORATION. The Supreme Court assessed that the similarities in the form, placement, writing and sound of the two marks could cause confusion among consumers. In addition, the Supreme Court considered that PT Tatalogam Lestari should have known about the existence of the "JOLLIBEE" mark which was registered and widely used, so that the registration of the "JOLIBI" mark was deemed to have been carried out in bad faith. The evidence presented by JOLLIBEE FOODS CORPORATION, including promotion through social media and search engines as well as evidence of consistent use, succeeded in convincing the Supreme Court that the "JOLLIBEE" mark is a well-known mark that deserves stronger legal protection. This decision emphasizes the importance of protecting well-known brands and preventing trademark registration actions in bad faith that can harm the original brand owner and mislead consumers.

Abstract

This article discusses the design of a Windows-based learning application for computer network hardware. In the context of education, providing computer network hardware is often a challenge, especially in terms of understanding complex concepts. Therefore, interactive and interesting learning materials are needed to help students understand the material better. The application is designed using an interactive multimedia approach, combining text, images, animations, and videos to present information in a computer network. The design process includes needs analysis, user interface design, and development of program-related content. Application testing is carried out to ensure that the application meets learning objectives and can be used effectively by students. The results of the study show that this application not only improves students' understanding of computer networks but also provides a more enjoyable learning experience. Therefore, hopefully this learning application can be an effective tool in the teaching and learning process in educational environments.

Abstract

Drug abuse has very bad consequences for teenagers. They often even commit criminal acts that involve fraud, theft, robbery and murder. Factors that contribute to narcotics protection, the legal consequences for teenagers who use them, and the relationship between narcotics protection and other criminal acts are problems that arise. Family, school, and place of residence greatly influence the psychology of teenagers aged twelve to eight fifteen years.For criminal offenses committed by children or teenagers, half the adult sentence.Drug abuse can lead teenagers to actions that violate norms, sometimes even to criminal acts. Therefore, it is very important for teenagers to receive guidance to prevent drug protection which leads to criminal acts.

Abstract

This study examines efforts to improve the quality and production of tofu in the home industry, as well as the use of technology for marketing of MSMEs. This study uses field observation, interview, and literature analysis methods to identify challenges and solutions in small-scale tofu production. The results of the study indicate that improving water quality, standardizing production processes, and utilizing digital technology for marketing can significantly improve product quality and market reach. In conclusion, the integration of appropriate technology and digital marketing strategies can be a catalyst for the development of the home tofu industry and MSMEs in general.
