Khidmatussifa: Journal of Islamic Studies is a peer-reviewed national journal on education, Islamic education, Islamic management, economics, Islamic literacy, and Islamic Religion, managed by STIT Sirojul Falah Bogor in cooperation with Masyarakat Ekonomi Syariah (MES) and Intelectual Association for Islamic Studies (IAFORIS) . This journal focused on education, Islamic education, Islamic management, Islamic study and literacy contemporary developments through the publication of articles, research reports, and book reviews. The Journal is published twice a year on June and December. Abstract

The small business sector is one industry that is essential to the economy. Some of them take in workers, which greatly boosts local income. comparable to what occurred in Medan. One of the biggest cities in Indonesia is Medan, which ranks third after Jakarta and Surabaya. It cannot be separated from the difficulties SMEs face, though. There are many difficulties, such as a lack of tools and knowledge. In order to support the growth of small and medium-sized businesses, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the city of Medan has implemented various performance and policy measures. The research methodology of choice is qualitative. The author ran an apprenticeship program at the North Sumatra province's industry and commerce office to gauge how successfully the government was handling this issue. According to the study's findings, specific instances of this performance include: 1) providing funds, 2) maintaining and improving infrastructure, 3) providing business information, 4) fostering networking relationships, 5) issuing business licenses, 6) offering business opportunities, 7) enhancing businesses, and 8) providing assistance to the community. Abstract

Businesses must retain their clients to remain profitable. The academic field of management marketing considers customer relationship management (CRM) to be best suited to achieve this, whereas communications management focuses more on public relations (PR). The aim of this study is to analyze theories in the two disciplines and derive a theory that integrates CRM and PR client retention frameworks. The framework was then tested in-depth interviews with short-term insurance clients and short-term insurance providers (brokers and direct insurance) in South Africa to obtain perspectives from both parties. The importance of some of the fundamental elements found in the literature is emphasized, the importance of two elements is questioned and it is established that there are three inconsistencies between what providers consider important for clients to retain and what clients consider necessary for them to remain in a relationship with the insurer. This probably explains the many failed client retention attempts of South African brokers and direct insurers. Six new CRM and/or PR elements, not found in the literature, are presented in the article for exploration in future research. To assist client retention in the highly competitive short-term insurance industry, the results are applied to the core principles of Niemann's (2005) SA strategic integrated communication (IC) implementation model. Finally, the authors present an integrated approach to client retention strategy in the South African short-term insurance industry, combining marketing and communication theory. Abstract

In terms of raw materials, capital, labor, production, business management, and the amount of profit made, this study seeks to identify and assess the business profile of angkringan soup raja fruit in Medan. In December 2022, the study was done for a month. The information used was both primary and secondary, collected through interviews with the proprietor of the fruit soup company and descriptively examined in the form of tables and figures. According to the research's findings, the Medan Durian Fruit Soup Company is an angkringan, or small firm, with its own capital, 2 employees, and a primary product category of beverages. Fruit soup is the most popular beverage, followed by juice and ice. Consumers most frequently requested iced durian compote, mixed durian fruit soup, and guessed ice koteng banana compote among these beverage categories. Fruits are the primary raw ingredients. Producing daily, with the bulk of customers eating there as well as some ordering takeout or delivery. based on analytical findings for the month of December 2022.

Abstract

It is love that motivates someone to do something to achieve their dreams. Feelings of love must be translated into real actions as the fruit of faith in the heart. Allah is the one who planted it, but Rasulullah saw it. who look after and care for him so that love grows and develops. All of us, Alhamdulillah, have heard and understood a lot about the birth of Rasulullah SAW, his holy sir, his noble character and his great state, where Allah swt destined him to be the opener of the door of intimacy for everyone and the key to wushul (achievement) for experts in perfection, so that no servant who can enter into the presence of Allah SWT. except by the way. And no one achieves His virtue, grace and perfection except through the Messenger of Allah. Not only that, Allah S.W.T. does not allow the servant to reach and approach Him except in the manner indicated by His beloved, Rasulullah SAW. This study examines how a person achieves love for Rasulullah SAW by understanding the meaning, purpose and wisdom of Rasulullah's love.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative study that aims to analyze the process of internalizing tauhidullah values in the context of education in elementary schools. This study takes a library research approach, namely by analyzing and synthesizing relevant literature that has been previously published. The focus of this research is to understand how education in elementary schools can contribute to shaping students' understanding and awareness of monotheism, the concept of the oneness of God in Islam. Through the collection and analysis of literature carried out, this study identified various approaches and strategies used in elementary school education to internalize the values of tauhidullah. Factors such as curriculum, teaching methods, the role of the teacher, and the school environment have an important role in shaping students' perceptions and appreciation of the concept of tauhidullah. In addition, the literature also reveals challenges and obstacles that may arise in an effort to internalize the values of tauhidullah, such as differences in cultural backgrounds, social environment, and the influence of modern media. The results of the literature analysis show the need for a holistic approach that includes cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects in the education of tauhidullah values. Good integration is needed between the religious curriculum, creative and interactive learning approaches, and the active role of the teacher in guiding students in understanding and living the concept of tauhidullah in everyday life.

Abstract

Ekonomi Islam merupakan sistem ekonomi yang berlandaskan pada prinsip-prinsip syariah, yang menekankan pada keadilan, kejujuran, dan kesejahteraan bersama. Dalam konteks pedesaan, penerapan ekonomi Islam memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui optimalisasi sumber daya lokal dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Desa Ciheulang adalah salah satu desa yang terletak di wilayah [sebutkan lokasi], yang mayoritas penduduknya beragama Islam. Desa ini memiliki berbagai potensi ekonomi yang belum sepenuhnya tergarap, seperti sektor pertanian, peternakan, dan kerajinan tangan. Dengan mengintegrasikan prinsip-prinsip ekonomi Islam dalam pengelolaan dan pengembangan potensi ini, diharapkan dapat tercipta peningkatan ekonomi yang signifikan bagi masyarakat desa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana penerapan ekonomi Islam berbasis kependudukan dapat meningkatkan perekonomian di Desa Ciheulang. Fokus penelitian ini meliputi analisis potensi ekonomi desa, strategi penerapan ekonomi Islam, serta dampak yang dihasilkan dari penerapan tersebut terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan penduduk dan tokoh masyarakat, serta kajian literatur. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan rekomendasi yang bermanfaat bagi pengembangan ekonomi desa berbasis kependudukan dengan pendekatan ekonomi Islam, serta menjadi model bagi desa-desa lain yang memiliki karakteristik serupa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of PAI teachers' perceptions of the Movers School Program in an effort to instill student morals. This program is a government initiative that aims to improve the quality of education through a more innovative and character-based approach. In the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI), the role of teachers is very important in shaping students' morals in accordance with Islamic values. Therefore, this study focuses on how PAI teachers perceive the effectiveness of Sekolah Penggerak Program in supporting their duties in guiding and shaping students' characters. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation methods to gain a deeper understanding of teachers' perceptions. The results showed that the majority of PAI teachers have a positive view of this program, as it is considered capable of providing space for the development of students' morals in a more systematic and structured manner. However, there are some challenges in the implementation of the program, such as limited resources and the need to improve teachers' understanding and skills in applying the concepts promoted by the Movers School Program. Therefore, further support from various parties is needed to ensure the success of this program in forming a generation with good morals.

Abstract

Early childhood learning readiness is a crucial indicator in determining the success of the transition from preschool education to elementary school. This study aims to compare the level of learning readiness between children who attended Kindergarten (TK) and those who participated in nonformal literacy and numeracy (calistung) programs. A quantitative-descriptive research approach was employed, involving a sample of 120 children aged 5-7 years who underwent a psychometric test for the New Student Admission (PPDB) process at MI At-Taqwa 15 Babelan Kota. The findings indicate that children with a kindergarten education background demonstrated better learning readiness, as evidenced by higher test scores, well-developed cognitive abilities, and optimal psychological preparedness. In contrast, while children from nonformal calistung programs exhibited greater focus and calmness during the test, their overall results were generally lower. These findings highlight the importance of a play-based learning curriculum in kindergarten to support holistic psychological and cognitive development. This study contributes to the implementation of the PAUD-SD transition program, emphasizing the need for developmentally appropriate learning strategies for young children. The conclusion recommends play-based learning as a fundamental approach to preparing children comprehensively before entering formal schooling. Abstract

Early childhood learning is often focused on memorization and repetition activities, which tend to be shallow and provide limited space for the development of critical thinking. In the 21st-century education era, the deep learning approach offers a strategic alternative to foster meaningful literacy and numeracy skills in young children. This article aims to examine the application of deep learning in the context of Early Childhood Education (ECE), particularly in enhancing basic literacy and numeracy abilities. Through literature review and analysis of various learning practices in early childhood institutions, it is found that deep learning can be integrated through guided play strategies, structured exploration, reflective dialogue, and concept connections that align with children's developmental stages. This approach has been proven to increase active engagement, strengthen conceptual understanding, and develop children's cognitive potential from an early age. The article recommends that ECE teachers begin to shift the learning paradigm from rote memorization to meaningful, contextual, and enjoyable learning experiences. Abstract

Abstract: Kampung 17, a remote highland village in Batu Lawang, Cianjur, presents a challenging educational landscape. Isolated by valleys and steep ravines, children face severe difficulties accessing formal schools, which are located far and are hard to reach. The community’s low socioeconomic status, combined with limited electricity and infrastructure, exacerbates these constraints. This phenomenon underscores the urgent need for diversified nonformal education services that can reach and empower children in this area. This study examines the implementation of a nonformal education model based at Musholla Baitul Muttaqien as a "Musholla Literacy House," adopting the concepts of a Borderless School and Project-Based Learning. Using a qualitative case study approach, this research highlights how the musholla serves not only as a place of worship but also as an innovative and inclusive learning center that integrates literacy activities, life skills, and local cultural preservation. The findings are expected to contribute significantly to the development of adaptive and sustainable alternative education services for remote communities. Thus, education ceases to be a distant dream on the mountain slopes, becoming a tangible and accessible hope.
