Abstract

Transformation is a modernization challenge that is familiar to the Indonesian people. This transformation is a process towards newer changes and must be responded to by all social and educational people to achieve quality changes to the times. This response resulted in multifunctional changes in community life and the educational environment. However, the 21st century is still weak in a positive response to the transformation of the times, so it appears to have negative impacts such as a lack of interest in the social environment. So the role of multifunctional education, namely PIPS, is a means for the nation's children to learn in the social world. The purpose of this article is to describe the transformation of social science education in Indonesia in the 21st century. The method of writing articles is described through literature studies that use search engines to obtain journals and ebooks. The discussion described in this article includes how the transformation of social studies education changes in Indonesia in the 21st century, reflecting on the beginning of education known to Indonesia.

The technique used to take samples is a random sampling technique. Based on random sampling results, a sample of 63 students was obtained, divided into two classes, the experimental group and 32 students in the control group 31. Data on social care attitudes and digital skills were collected using questionnaires. This study used descriptive and inferential analysis methods. Inferential analysis was performed using multivariate (Manova), preceded by an analysis prerequisite test that included a data distribution normality test and a variance homogeneity test. The results of the hypothesis test based on the test results between the effects of the subjects obtained significant values of Nangun Sad Kert ih-oriented heutagogy approach to social care attitudes and digital skills obtained a significance value of 0.000 < 0.005, which means that the Nangun Sad Kert oriented heutagogy approach improves digital skills and social care attitudes in social studies learning. Abstract

Learning during the Covid-19 pandemic can be done remotely, so teachers are required to be able to use information and communication technology-based learning, one of which is by using gadgets. Students can study anytime and anywhere. The problem in this research is how to use gadgets as learning media to improve student achievement. Qualitative research approach with case study method at SDN Budikarya. The study results: using gadgets as media and assessing learning outcomes has been going well. Student learning achievement has increased. The supporting factor for the success of distance learning is the independent ownership of the device from the students, while the inhibiting factor is the time that students spend playing is far greater than the time for studying. This device should be balanced with the use of the school LMS to integrate all data. Teachers and parents should check students' devices regularly.

Abstract

Integration of community activities as a source of social studies learning is essential. This is so that learning is not only focused on planting concepts. However, this integration is expected to produce learning outcomes in the form of understanding concepts and their relation to the context of everyday life. Community activities can be found in a public space. One of them is a public space in Banjarbaru City, which is known as the Taman Pintar. Therefore, this study aims to identify public spaces in the Taman Pintar as a source of social studies learning. A qualitative approach is used in this study to explain a phenomenon as profoundly as possible by collecting data. The research instrument is the researcher himself—data collection techniques in observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis begins with data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The data validity test used is source triangulation, technique triangulation, and time triangulation. Finally, extended observations were made to complete the incomplete data. Research results in three parts of the people's activity social activities in Taman Pintar: social, economic, and government. Therefore, social studies teachers are expected to prepare contextual learning processes or include social studies learning with learning resources in the form of community social activities in the Taman Pintar area as social studies learning resources.
