Abstract

If in the clouds there is always water that will fall to wet the barren earth, this is also the case with every story in the sirah nabawiyah. The aim of this research is to find educational pearls behind every story or event. There are two methods that will be used in this research, namely: first, using "Library Research" where the method in this research will use theories taken from literature books that support and are relevant to the title of this research. Second, researchers use field research that is appropriate to the object the researcher chooses. This research is a type of field research with a qualitative approach. This research is also supported by library research, namely data sources in the form of books or literature related to the discussion. The results and discussion of this research study are that the "birth and forty years before prophethood" phase of the sirah nabawiyah does not merely contain a series of meaningless stories. In each story or event from this phase, various educational pearls are contained. The conclusion of this study is that readers of the prophet's life history can capture many inspiring moral messages. If so, we can break the expression uthlub al-'ilm walau bi ash-shiin (seek knowledge even in China) with a more Islamic thesis, namely uthlub al-'ilm bi al-qiraat wa al-ta'malu fi sirah nabawiyah .

Abstract

Raja Ampat, located in Southwest Papua, Indonesia, is known as a paradise for divers and nature lovers with its extraordinary underwater and land natural beauty. This archipelago consists of more than 1,500 small islands surrounded by four main islands: Misool, Salawati, Batanta, and Waigeo. As part of the Coral Triangle, Raja Ampat is a center of marine biodiversity with hundreds of unique and endangered species. The name "Raja Ampat" comes from a local legend about four kings who occupied the four largest islands. Apart from its natural beauty, Raja Ampat also focuses on environmental conservation through its Marine Protected Area Network which covers more than 4 million hectares. Sustainable tourism is a major concern in Raja Ampat to maintain beauty and biodiversity. This involves digital marketing through social media, collaboration with influencers, and the adoption of sustainable technology. Challenges faced include a lack of tourist awareness, limited infrastructure, and low local community participation. This research uses qualitative methods through case studies, semi-structured interviews, and participant observation to understand the application of innovation in sustainable marketing strategies. Through appropriate marketing strategies, Raja Ampat seeks to attract tourists who support sustainable tourism, ensuring its natural beauty is maintained for future generations.

Abstract

The Ammatoa Community in Kajang is an indigenous group that continues to uphold their customs and culture in the present time. The culture and practices they follow are thought to have the capacity to mitigate the occurrence of stunting in children. In the context of postpartum and breastfeeding care, a range of activities are implemented to guarantee the highest level of nutrition for both mothers and infants. Hence, the cultural aspect of this group also serves as a contributing component in endeavors to reduce the prevalence of stunting. The purpose of this study is to delve into the culture of care for postpartum and breastfeeding mothers in the Ammatoa indigenous community, with the aim of supporting the prevention of stunting. This study employs a qualitative methodology, utilizing in-depth interviews as the means of data gathering. The informants were selected using the snowball sampling approach in Benteng Hamlet, Tanah Toa Village, Community District, Bulukumba Regency. The study identified two interventions for women experiencing postpartum and breastfeeding. Initially, hemorrhage prophylaxis was implemented by administering rappo leaves to postpartum mother on the day following delivery, subsequently followed by cleansing the perineum with water. A heated concoction blended with desiccated banana leaves for the purpose of treating perineal lesions. Moreover, the practice of applying lambere susu leaves on postpartum breasts serves to enhance and expedite the breastfeeding mothers’ lactation process. The findings indicate that the cultural practices of caring for postpartum women and promoting breastfeeding within the Ammatoa Community indigenous community have a positive impact on the health of both mothers and infants, hence contributing to the prevention of stunting.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, and Intellectual) learning model on the problem-solving abilities in mathematics of fifth-grade students at SDN Gugus Sukorejo, Kebonsari, Madiun. The method used in this research is a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group. The sample consists of two classes: an experimental class implementing the SAVI model and a control class using conventional teaching methods. Data were collected through problem-solving ability tests administered before and after the learning process, as well as observations during the learning activities. The results indicate that the SAVI learning model is effective and significantly influences the improvement of problem-solving abilities in mathematics among fifth-grade students at SDN Gugus Sukorejo, Kebonsari, Madiun. The total score for SAVI (P0) reached 2,848.31 with an average of 949.44, significantly higher than the total score for the Conventional method (P1), which was only 900.32 with an average of 300.11. Students in the high-ability group using SAVI achieved a score of 1,045.35, more than double that of the high-ability group using the Conventional method (405.82). The SAVI model also demonstrated better results in the medium and low ability groups, indicating its effectiveness across all ability categories. The significant score difference in SAVI (1,045.35 vs. 815.67) reflects an improvement in student understanding. These findings affirm that the SAVI model is more effective than conventional methods in mathematics education.

Abstract

To maintain the Work Ethic of Employees, the communication model is one of the important things that need to be understood and applied appropriately to an organization or government agency. However, sometimes the communication model is not sufficiently understood and appropriate in its application so it has implications for mass communication in all members of the organization, both subordinates and superiors and so on. This research aims to analyze the application of the organizational communication model at the Regional Revenue Agency Office of Southeast Sulawesi Province and to analyze how to maintain employee work ethic related to the communication model. To analyze the communication model, Robbins (2013) uses the theory of the Chain Model, Wheel Model, Circle Model, Free Network Model (all channels), and the "Y" Letter Model. Meanwhile, to analyze the work ethic of employees, concepts from Siregar in Octarina (2013) are used, namely Awareness, Enthusiasm, Willpower, Commitment, Initiative, Productive, Improvement, and Insight. The results of the study showed that all of Robbins' theories were used at the Regional Revenue Agency Office in Southeast Sulawesi, but the more dominant one used was the Wheel Model (Well). Meanwhile, for work ethic, all of them are dominant and used well at the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Revenue Agency Office.

Abstract

Literacy education should be mandatory in every educational institution, formal and non-formal such as out-of-school education. It is very important to organize various literacy activities in a planned and programmed manner, through activities in the classroom as well as based on school and community culture in the surrounding community. The purpose of this study is to explore the concept of humanist literacy education that can be implemented in out-of-school education at the level of elementary school-age out-of-school education (children's age community). This research is a type of Library Research with a qualitative approach to present a reference library on the implementation of the concept of humanist literacy education in out-of-school education. The results of this literature study can be used as a reference for teachers who implement out-of-school education at the level of elementary school children. The exploration of the concept of humanist literacy education that includes literacy and culture that can be implemented in out-of-school education are: (1) functional level, literacy education at the basic level given to learners to be able to use language to fulfill the needs of daily life, such as reading newspapers/news, daily conversations in the community, manuals or instructions; (2) informational level, literacy education that guides learners to be able to access knowledge with language skills or information about local culture that they need for conversation/spoken communication in local languages and Indonesian; and (3) epistemic level, humanist literacy education that guides learners to be able to express knowledge in the target language (local language, Indonesian, or [suggested] in foreign languages).
