Abstract

The main source of market failure from fossil fuels is the emergence of negative externalities such as air pollution and climate change. Without a carbon tax, consumers do not pay the entire cost of consumption of a product, including costs associated with production, shipping, and social costs such as lost income due to air pollution and climate change. Indonesia's efforts to reduce emissions from greenhouse gases and achieve net zero emissions are part of Indonesia's commitment to the global agreement between countries on actions to combat climate change, which can be achieved through the introduction of a tax on carbon in the country. Nevertheless, carbon taxes have their pros and cons in society. This study aims to examine the challenges of implementing a carbon tax in an effort to reduce emissions from greenhouse gases and obtain zero or net emission results in Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative research approach for its research. This study used a qualitative methodology based on the use of descriptive analytical techniques, which specifically summarized the conclusions drawn from the data collected and subsequently examined. The secondary data source of this research is used together with literature review research instruments, namely data collection through literature review and documentation. Data analysis in this study used an interactive model consisting of three activity streams simultaneously: data presentation, data condensation, and conclusion/verification. The results of the analysis explain that the implementation of a carbon tax that has the aim of changing the behavior of economic actors to move to relatively low-carbon green economic activities is a mitigation measure that is quite effective in minimizing greenhouse gas emissions and achieving " net zero emissions" in Indonesia with challenges that must be faced such as the involvement of business people in the prevailing democratic political system, good conditions and poor management of government institutions, the response to behavior change and high trust from the public, the emergence of concerns about the effect of carbon tax implementation on business sector conditions including increases in production prices, financial burdens and competitiveness.

Abstract

Menopause is a phase in which women do not experience menstruation. Often when women face menopause have feelings of anxiety and fear. This situation is due to a decrease in the hormone estrogen, progesterone and sex hormones which can cause physical symptoms that may be experienced when reaching menopause, such as a sudden feeling of heat that attacks parts of the body and is even prone to hypertension. This study aims to describe the factors associated with the incidence of hypertension in postmenopausal women in the Temanggung Regency Working Area. This research uses quantitative research with a cross sectional study design, which is to study the relationship between the dependent variable (hypertension) and the independent variable (Age, Iodine Consumption and Body Mass Index). The sampling technique used in this study is porposive sampling, namely the researcher categorizes the inclusion and exclusion criteria of the respondent sample into the study until the number of subjects in the study is fulfilled totaling 12 respondents. The results showed that the majority of respondents were aged 51-60 (83.3%), iodine consumption (%), respondents who had a body mass index indicated by more nutrition (%). Chi Square analysis test, obtained the value of age with hypertension p value = 0.039, the value of todium consumption with hypertension p value = 0.033, the value of body mass index with hypertension p value = 0.033. This shows that the p value < value is 0.05 so Ha is accepted which means there is a relationship between age, iodine consumption and body mass index with hypertension.

Abstract

There is no credible the Indonesian Version of the Poisonous Parenting Style Scale (IVPPSS) that has been published in any scientific work. Parenting practices that have a negative, even toxic, impact on children’s psychological dimensions are perhaps generally practiced without realizing it. The use of the term poisonous parenting, often used interchangeably with toxic parenting by toxic parents, has a negative impact on children’s mental development and psychological well-being. This parenting style can also have a negative impact on children’s mental health, development, achievement and adjustment. This prompted researchers to develop the poisonous parenting style scale instrument. Based on the results of psychometric testing, it shows that the IVPPSS is a fit model with the data. The poisonous parenting style scale measuring tool has three dimensions, namely the pageant parent, the dismissive parent and the contemptuous parent. There are 16 valid items to measure the construct of the pageant parent, the dismissive parents and the contemptuous parent. Furthermore, there are 5 valid items measuring factors from the pageant parent dimension, 5 valid items measuring factors from the dismissive parent dimension, and 6 valid items measuring the contemptuous parent factor. Overall, the results of this research provide initial evidence to support the IVPPSS as a measuring tool that has conceptual and psychometric strength.
