Abstract

The area of a triangle is a basic concept in geometry that has wide applications in various fields, ranging from pure mathematics to applied sciences such as engineering and architecture. An understanding of how to calculate the area of a triangle is essential for solving various problems involving area measurement and calculation. The basic formula for calculating the area of a triangle is half the product of the base and the height (½ × base × height). The teacher's teaching of the proof of the triangle area formula at school, there are some things that create ambiguity in the explanation. Usually the teacher in explaining the origin of ½ of the triangle area formula starts from a square or rectangle that is divided on its diagonal plane, then makes ½ part of the square or rectangle area only. Whereas it can come from other rectangular or quadrilateral planes, which include: square, rectangle, parallelogram, kite, rhombus, trapezium. The formation of ½ in the triangle area formula comes from the ratio equation of total angles and area between triangles and quadrilaterals. So, with the concept ratio equation of total angles and area between triangles and quadrilaterals, students can understand that all quadrilateral flat shapes can be used to find the triangle area formula

Abstract

Islamic law in Indonesia develops dynamically within a diverse social reality, particularly among the stratified Muslim communities of santri, priyayi, and abangan. This article analyzes how modernization and globalization influence the religious practices of these three groups and how Islamic law responds to these changes through the framework of maqāṣid asy-syarī‘ah. Using an Islamic legal sociology approach and a qualitative-descriptive method, this study examines the role of ijtihad and the reinterpretation of Islamic law in maintaining its relevance amidst social transformation. The findings indicate that the santri group tends to adhere to classical fiqh-based religious practices, while the priyayi adopt a more culturally adaptive approach, and the abangan exhibit a syncretic understanding of Islam. Within the maqāṣid sharī‘ah perspective, Islamic law continues to evolve to ensure public welfare, justice, and a balance between traditional values and modernization demands. Therefore, a contextual understanding of Islamic law is essential in addressing the challenges of social change in Indonesia.

Abstract

In 2007, the President of the Republic of Indonesia issued a government regulation regarding the implementation of religious education which recognized that this type of Islamic education had made a major contribution to national development. The regulation explains that religious education such as pesantren can be managed formally. Following the government regulation, the Minister of Religion then issued a 2014 Ministerial Regulation to officially recognize pesantren as traditional-based education. The regulation allows for the integration of yellow book-based education which allocates 70% or more of the curriculum for Islamic studies and Arabic, while 30% for general subjects. The process of formalizing traditional Islamic education reached its climax with the passing of Law No. 18 of 2019 concerning Islamic boarding schools which was legalized on September 24, 2019. The pesantren system must be modernized and run classrooms under the madrasa system. In contrast, the 2019 law recognizes many aspects of traditional pesantren traditions, including those advocating the study of the yellow book. According to the law, the government is currently responsible for supporting the delivery of traditional pesantren-based education as well as support for public schools and madrasas. One of the Islamic boarding schools that has implemented the pesantren law is the Sunan Drajat Islamic Boarding School. The Islamic boarding school inherited from Sunan Drajat, one of the nine guardians, has since 1994 established the Mu'allimin-Mu'allimat institution whose curriculum has integrated the pesantren curriculum with the general education curriculum

Abstract

This interactive learning media based on Canva is a benchmark for researchers to come up with a creative idea in overcoming the problems that exist at MTs Hasyim Asyári Kedungmegarih. That every time learning a foreign language tends to face various language problems, including the problem of lack of interest in learning. In terms of reading and writing, especially memorizing Arabic vocabulary which is still low. Because of that, they have difficulty understanding the text. The more vocabulary they don't understand, the more difficult it is for them to understand the text. And also the different backgrounds of the students' institutions, some of which are in (SD) and, (MI) are the reasons that make them incompatible in understanding learning when they enter Mts Hasyim Asy'ari Kedungmegarih about understanding how far they know about learning Arabic. This study uses the type of research and development (RnD) Borg and Gall Gall which has been modified by Sugiyono. The results of the study were obtained from the development of interactive learning media based on Canva in Arabic language learning, namely: 1) the procedure for developing interactive learning media based on Canva through the procedures carried out by the researcher in the six stages, this is proven by the results of material validation of 80%, language validation of 80%, media validation of 80%, the results of which 80% are said to be very feasible as learning media, 2) Characteristics of interactive learning media based on Canva through the description of the differences in previous studies and the specifications are stated as media (software/web) Main menu (Cover, Ki Kd, Material, Evaluation) and also from the results of the student questionnaire responses 96.66% really like interactive media learning based on Canva. 3) The feasibility of developing interactive media based on Canva in Arabic language learning, this is proven by the results of the pre-test with a total of 2,842, an average of 54.00. And the results of the post-test amounted to 2,922, an average of 95.00. So that it is proven that there is an increase in the value of 445. 2) With the development of interactive learning media based on Canva, it can increase students' enthusiasm and enthusiasm, so that Arabic language learning is interesting and not boring.

Abstract

Women, with the grace of Allah SWT and under the message of Islam, were returned to their noble position as the commander of justice and protector of Islam. This can be seen in several religious texts in Islam, both in the form of the text of the Qur’an and the Hadith of the Prophet which glorify the nature of women themselves. However, in several texts of the Qur'an, verses are found that are suspected and considered to degrade the position of women, especially in the letter Al-Nisa’, according to Sayyid Rasyid Ridha, this surah is called Al-Nisa’ because at the beginning of its opening it talks about women and the laws relating to them. Therefore, a study or research is needed that highlights women’s views on themselves regarding the concept of gender equality which has been fought for so hard by feminists. This research with a qualitative descriptive approach tries to reveal the views of Aisiyah Socah’s regarding gender equality issues and their relationship to their understanding of religious texts that contain misogynistic elements. The results of the study show that the concept of gender equality that has been echoed by scientists and feminists has not been fully understood by most of the mothers of Aisyiyah Socah. The responses of ‘Aisyiyah Socah to the content of the verses of the Qur’an in the letter Al-Nisa which seem to contain gender bias can be said to be quite diverse. In general, they strongly believe in and apply the concept of equality in their respective family lives.

Abstract

Islamic leadership that is just is an ideal model exemplified by the Rasyidin Khulafaur, namely Abu Bakar Ash-Siddiq, Umar bin Khattab. This period is often considered the best leadership period in Islamic history, where the values ​​of justice, trust and deliberation were consistently implemented in government. This article aims to explore the principles of just leadership applied by the Rasyidin Khulafaur and how they face various political and social challenges. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive-analytical approach to analyze the policies and actions of the four caliphs, especially in terms of law enforcement, distribution of wealth, and resolution of internal and external conflicts. The research results show that justice is at the core of every political and social decision taken by the Rasyidin Khulafaur, both in terms of public policy, government transparency, and leader accountability towards the people.

Abstract

This article discusses the concept of Islamic educational leadership from a multicultural perspective, focusing on its definition, essence, basic concepts according to the Qur’an, as well as the functions and roles of leadership in Islamic educational institutions. The study employs a literature review method by examining various relevant sources. The findings indicate that Islamic educational leadership is a leadership process based on the values of the Qur’an and Islamic teachings, emphasizing not only managerial aspects but also spiritual and moral dimensions. Leaders in Islamic education are expected to guide, motivate, and mobilize human resources within educational institutions to achieve Islamic educational goals aimed at forming well-mannered individuals who are responsible as caliphs on earth. Furthermore, Islamic educational leadership must create a conducive organizational climate, integrate Islamic values, and serve as role models for the entire academic community. Thus, effective Islamic educational leadership is crucial in building inclusive and multicultural educational institutions capable of addressing globalization challenges without losing Islamic identity.

Abstract

This study discusses the culture and local wisdom of three major ethnic groups in Indonesia: the Dayak, Banjar, and Javanese. Each group possesses a unique cultural heritage, including traditional houses, traditional arts, and customary ceremonies. Moreover, the local wisdom of each ethnic group reflects a close relationship between the community and the environment, social values, and spirituality. The aim of this study is to identify and analyze the cultural characteristics and local wisdom of these three ethnic groups. The research method used is a literature review and in-depth interviews with traditional leaders and cultural practitioners. The findings indicate that culture and local wisdom play a crucial role in preserving the identity and sustainability of indigenous communities amid changing times.

Abstract

Indonesia, as a multicultural country, faces significant challenges in the field of education, particularly in managing cultural, ethnic, linguistic, and religious diversity. In the context of Islamic education, this diversity is not only reflected in the backgrounds of students but also in the values upheld by all educational stakeholders. Therefore, effective managerial strategies are needed to manage communication and negotiation processes to create an inclusive, harmonious, and equitable learning environment. This article aims to comprehensively examine the role of communication and negotiation management in multicultural Islamic education through a literature review approach that analyzes various relevant scholarly works. The findings reveal that effective multicultural communication requires openness, empathy, cultural awareness, and adaptability in interactions among individuals from diverse backgrounds. Barriers such as prejudice, stereotypes, ethnocentrism, and perceptual differences often hinder communication processes. Thus, negotiation becomes a key skill to bridge differences and reach fair agreements. In Islamic education, negotiation management based on the principles of justice, equality, mutual interest, and a win-win approach is essential for formulating inclusive policies and fostering constructive interactions. Furthermore, this article highlights the importance of managerial competence for Islamic education leaders as facilitators of intercultural dialogue and agents of change in creating educational spaces responsive to diversity. By emphasizing effective communication and negotiation management, Islamic educational institutions are expected to serve not only as centers of academic learning but also as platforms for nurturing social character that is tolerant, open-minded, and prepared to live in a pluralistic global society.

Abstract

This study examines the practice of price rounding in the Cash On Delivery (COD) payment system on the e-commerce platform Shopee, highlighting issues of information transparency and its compliance with the principles of Islamic economic law. The main issue raised is the lack of notification to consumers regarding price rounding by couriers, which can lead to injustice and financial losses. This research aims to determine the compatibility of such practices with the principles of fairness, transparency, and mutual consent as outlined in applicable Islamic law. This study employs a normative-empirical legal method with a qualitative approach, combining a literature review of Sharia principles with empirical data from observations and interviews in the Sumberrejo area, Bojonegoro. The research findings indicate that the practice of rounding prices without consent or notification to consumers violates the principles of transparency, fairness, and willingness (an-taraḍin) in Islamic law. However, if the rounding is done openly and with the consent of the consumers, it may still be acceptable under the principles of Islamic economic law. This research recommends the importance of developing Sharia-based ethical standards in e-commerce transactions that ensure transparency of information and fairness for all parties.
