Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of SIKOPDIT accounting application in improving the efficiency of financial administration in the Kopdit Ikamala's Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSP). The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results of the study show that the implementation of the SIKOPDIT application has a positive impact on improving the efficiency of cooperative financial administration. Before the application was implemented, the transaction recording process was carried out manually, making it prone to errors and delays in preparing financial statements. With SIKOPDIT, transaction recording can be done in real time, reducing human errors, accelerating the financial reconciliation process, and improving the quality of financial statements. In addition, this system provides better transparency in the financial management of cooperatives. However, the implementation of this application also faced obstacles, especially in the form of resistance from some staff who were used to manual methods. This obstacle is overcome through intensive training and mentoring so that staff can better understand the use of the system. Overall, this study emphasizes that digital transformation through accounting applications is a strategic step in improving cooperative operational efficiency, which can ultimately strengthen member trust and encourage cooperative growth. This study implies that the application of the SIKOPDIT application has been proven to be able to improve work efficiency in financial administration, especially in terms of recording transactions, preparing financial statements, and monitoring member data. This can encourage KSP Kopdit Ikamala to continue to optimize the use of digital technology in all operational processes to increase productivity and service to members.

Abstract

The New Order is always interesting to study from various perspectives, the leadership under the control of President Soeharto has a fairly long historical record, the role of the general with a friendly smile, the nickname given to Soeharto because he ran the government always spreading a smile, the Javanese leadership type became his characteristic. Here the author tries to explore the leadership style from 1966 to 1998. Soeharto's political journey is an important concern, especially his policies which are often controversial towards the interests of Muslims, many policies are considered not in accordance with the wishes of Muslims such as not being allowed by clerics to be involved in politics because they are considered to be a stumbling block in the politics of the New Order led by Soeharto. Soeharto's policy in the final phase of his leadership saw a change in policy, many political policies were very pro-Islamic groups, teachers throughout Indonesia and providing Umrah and Hajj, not only that, Soeharto also established a thousand mosques throughout Indonesia, of course this policy was very well received by the Islamic religious group which is the majority religion in Indonesia, the aroma of Islamic politics was excited again, there were no more policies that conflicted with Islam, regardless of the political pressure at the end of Soeharto's leadership, this was evidence that he heard and realized that what he had been doing did not get the support of Islamic politics because it was considered contrary to the political policies that have been planted so far.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of economic development and fiscal policy on CO2 emissions in Indonesia. Using a time series data from 2009 to 2019 covering 20 provinces in Indonesia before the COVID-19 pandemic, this study analyzed data with a dynamic panel approach. The results show that in the short term, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) and population have a negative influence on CO2 emissions, while in the long term, GDP and population have a positive effect on CO2 emissions. The Central to Regional Transfer Fund (DAU) shows a positive effect on CO2 emissions in the short term but has a negative effect in the long term. Spending on education has a negative effect on CO2 emissions in the short term, while in the long term, it has no significant effect. Spending on health has shown no effect on CO2 emissions in either the short or long term. Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) has a negative effect on CO2 emissions in both periods. Based on these findings, the policy that needs to be considered in the future is to strengthen the policy of transferring Central Transfer Funds to Regions that better supports environmentally friendly initiatives, as well as encourage foreign investment oriented towards green and sustainable technology. In addition, the allocation of funds for the education sector can be prioritized for the development of policies that support the reduction of CO2 emissions, while health spending can be directed to programs that integrate economic growth with environmental sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of economic growth, investment, industrial added value, trade value, and oil consumption on CO2 emissions in Indonesia in the period 1987-2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, this study also considers the role of government policies in regulating carbon emissions and mitigating negative impacts on the environment. The method used in this study is the ECM (Error Correction Model) regression approach. The results show that in the long term, economic growth, industrial value-added, and oil consumption have a positive effect on increasing CO2 emissions in Indonesia, while investment (GFCF) and trade value have a negative effect on CO2 emissions. In the short term, industrial value added, and trade value have no significant effect on CO2 emissions, while economic growth and oil consumption encourage an increase in CO2 emissions. Investment (GFCF) contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions. Indonesian government policies that focus on reducing carbon emissions through regulations that support renewable energy and energy efficiency, as well as controlling oil consumption, are expected to accelerate the transition to a low-carbon economy. The implication of these findings is that more assertive and integrated policies between the economic and environmental sectors are needed to effectively reduce CO2 emissions, while supporting economic growth and industrialization.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the internal control system applied to the Kopdit Tuke Jung Nelle Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSP). A sound internal control system is essential to ensure the achievement of organizational goals, including asset protection, reliability of financial statements, and compliance with applicable regulations and regulations. The evaluation was carried out using the COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission) framework, which includes five main components: control environment, risk assessment, control activities, information and communication, and monitoring. Data was collected through interviews with management, observation of operational processes, and analysis of documents related to policies and procedures. The results of the evaluation show that although most of the components of the internal control system are running well, there are still some weaknesses in terms of monitoring and supervision of policy implementation. Therefore, it is recommended that KSP Kopdit Tuke Jung Nelle strengthen the monitoring and training mechanism for all employees to improve the effectiveness of the overall internal control system.

Abstract

Mount Merapi is one of the most active volcanoes in Indonesia and poses a serious threat to the people of Sleman, especially following the 2010 eruption that caused significant damage and loss of life. Although Indonesia has a developed disaster management system, effective disaster communication remains a challenge, particularly in delivering information that is timely, accurate, and easily understood by the public. This research aims to explore the role of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Sleman Regency in disaster communication, specifically related to the mitigation and management of Mount Merapi disasters. The research method employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques conducted through in-depth interviews with the Head of BPBD and the Head of the BPBD Secretariat of Sleman Regency, as well as with the community and disaster awareness groups. The data analysis technique used is the Miles & Huberman Model, and data triangulation is performed to ensure data validity. The results of this study indicate that the BPBD of Sleman Regency plays a crucial role in disaster communication, both in mitigation and disaster management. Effective communication is supported by strategies for delivering accurate messages, using easily understandable language, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity, as well as collaboration and coordination with various stakeholders. This study recommends strengthening cross-sector coordination and enhancing community capacity to understand disaster information in order to improve preparedness for Mount Merapi disaster.

Abstract

Education budget management is a vital instrument in realizing the constitutional right to education and improving the quality of Indonesia's human resources. However, reality shows that disparities in allocation, weak supervision and rampant irregularities reduce the effectiveness of the budget. Presidential Instruction No. 1 of 2025 comes as a normative response to strengthen education budget governance, but its implementation cannot be separated from juridical complexities and coordinative challenges in the field. This study aims to juridically analyze the opportunities and challenges of implementing Presidential Instruction No. 1 of 2025 in education budget management in Indonesia. The method used in this research is juridical-normative research, by analyzing secondary data from primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. The results show that Presidential Instruction Number 1 Year 2025 has great potential in improving the efficiency and equity of education budget management in Indonesia. However, its implementation faces serious legal challenges, especially related to the unsynchronized regulations between the center and the regions and weak supervision. Therefore, continuous legal reforms, improved regional managerial capacity and a more integrated monitoring system are needed to support the effectiveness of this policy

Abstract

This study examines the determinants of fintech adoption among Indonesian households using nationally representative microdata from SUSENAS 2022 and binary logistic regression analysis. The findings reveal that fintech adoption remains limited, with only 5.48% of households reporting the use of digital financial services such as mobile banking. Among the determinants, savings ownership emerges as the strongest predictor, associated with a 12% higher probability of adopting fintech, underscoring the importance of prior financial engagement. Other significant factors include educational attainment, ICT experience, and formal employment. The analysis also highlights notable geographic variation. Education increases the probability of fintech use by 1.37% in urban areas but only 0.27% in rural areas. Similarly, ICT experience is associated with a 4.72% increase in adoption probability in urban areas, compared to 1.28% in rural settings, reflecting unequal returns to human capital across region. Formal employment and land ownership play a more influential role in rural areas. In contrast, participation in government assistance programs such as PKH and BPNT is negatively associated with fintech use across both settings, indicating that digital transfers alone are insufficient to foster sustained financial inclusion. These results highlight the urgency of designing context-sensitive fintech policies that address digital literacy, institutional trust, and inclusive program integration.

Abstract

This study analyzes trends in Indonesian labor migration to Malaysia in the last decade, focusing on skill composition, remittance contributions, and policy challenges. The method used is a qualitative approach through literature studies from various official and academic sources. Results show a significant increase in skilled labor migration by 35% since 2015, especially in the technology and health sectors. Real wage differentials between countries are the main driver of migration, with a correlation of 0.8% for every 1% increase in wage differentials. Remittances on average contribute 2.5% to Indonesia's GDP. The study also reveals gaps between policy and factual conditions, especially in the protection of informal workers and women. Using Pierre Bourdieu's theoretical framework, this study emphasizes the importance of social understanding of migration dynamics and the need for more responsive policies.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are a strategic sector in local economic development, particularly in rural areas. However, many MSME actors in Banyumulek Village, Lombok Barat, still face various obstacles in managerial aspects, such as business planning, financial recording, decision-making, and resource management. This study aims to analyze the effect of business mentoring on improving the managerial capacity of MSME actors in the village. The research method used is a quantitative method with a survey approach. The population in this study were all active MSME players in Banyumulek Village, and a purposive sample of 55 respondents was taken. Data collection techniques were conducted through questionnaires, interviews, and field observations. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression techniques to test the effect of business assistance variables on the managerial capacity of MSMEs. The results showed that business mentoring has a significant and positive effect on improving the managerial capacity of MSMEs. Most of the variation in managerial capacity building can be explained by the quality and intensity of mentoring received by businesses. Managerial aspects that experienced significant improvements included business planning, financial management, business evaluation, and human resource development. Assistance that is participatory, contextual, and oriented to real needs has proven to be more effective in encouraging managerial transformation of MSMEs. This study recommends the need to strengthen a sustainable mentoring system, involve multi-stakeholders, and integrate with digitalization training programs to support the growth of village MSMEs in a sustainable and adaptive manner to the challenges of modern markets.
