Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of halal certification policies for packaging ink chemicals in Indonesia through the Advocacy Coalition Framework (ACF) approach. AFC is used to understand the interactions and learning processes between actors with different belief systems in the implementation of halal policies in the non-food sector. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive-exploratory case studies. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies of BPJPH, MUI, LPH, industry players, academics, and Islamic community organizations. The results show that policy implementation involves a multi-actor coalition that negotiates between normative (sharia compliance) and technical (industrial efficiency) values. BPJPH acts as a policy broker that bridges these interests through formal and informal forums that produce collective policy learning. The effectiveness of implementation is influenced by external factors such as the harmonization of international halal standards (JAKIM, SFDA, ESMA) and global market pressures, as well as internal factors such as institutional reform, service digitalization, and capacity building of LPH. Strategic recommendations include simplifying procedures, cluster certification, auditor training, and the development of a database of hazardous chemicals. Translated with DeepL.com (free version).

Abstract

The professionalism of educators in the management of kindergarten education is a fundamental factor in guaranteeing the quality of early childhood education services. This study aims to analyze the concepts, dimensions, and challenges of kindergarten teacher professionalism through a literature review of relevant national and international journals, books, and research reports. The findings of the review indicate that the professionalism of kindergarten teachers is proven to be highly determinant of the quality of early childhood learning and is influenced by pedagogical competence, academic supervision, and school principal management. Suboptimal supervision and weak evaluation of training are the main obstacles to improving teacher performance. Competence development is proven to have a positive impact, but it is not yet evenly distributed due to limitations in facilities, experience, and access to learning. Furthermore, internal and external factors such as motivation, administrative burden, and working conditions significantly affect the teachers' sustained professionalism.

Abstract

Transformational leadership is regarded as a leadership style capable of responding to the challenges of contemporary dynamics while fostering innovation, motivation, and commitment within Islamic educational institutions. This article aims to: (1) describe the concept of transformational leadership in Islamic education, (2) identify transformational leadership techniques applied in Islamic educational institutions, and (3) analyze the effectiveness of its implementation based on literature published from 2020 to 2025. The research method employed a systematic literature review, examining scientific articles and empirical studies from journals on Islamic education and educational management. The findings indicate that techniques such as developing a collective vision and mission, staff/teacher empowerment, motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration remain relevant and effective in improving teacher performance, innovation, work motivation, school culture, and educational quality. Recent studies also highlight the importance of work climate and organizational support as mediating factors for successful implementation. Therefore, transformational leadership remains relevant and is highly recommended for implementation in Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to formulate a multidisciplinary da’wah communication strategy by integrating digital media, psychological approaches, and Islamic values to mitigate the hazards of online gambling. Unlike previous studies that focus on singular approaches, this research proposes an original integrative model specifically designed to address the challenges of 2026, where gambling platforms utilize highly aggressive and hyper-personalized algorithms. This study employed a library research method with a qualitative-descriptive approach. Data were systematically collected from primary and secondary sources, including 2026 digital industry trends, psychological literature, and theological foundations. The data analysis followed an interactive model involving data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that an effective mitigation strategy requires precise audience segmentation and the utilization of interactive technology, such as gamification, to counter AI-driven gambling algorithms. The study finds that this original synthesis—combining empathy-based psychological interventions with “sticky narratives”—is more effective in motivating behavioral change among digital-native addicts compared to traditional normative prohibitions. Furthermore, the synergy between the theological principles of maysir prohibition and digital literacy creates a robust, systemic social defense. In conclusion, this multidisciplinary framework provides a practical and pioneering guide for preachers and educators to conduct humane and relevant behavioral interventions amidst the rapid technological developments of 2026.

Abstract

This study analyzes leadership regeneration and management transformation as integrated strategic approaches to organizational human resource development (HRD) within a professional organization. Using a qualitative case study approach at AMA-Indonesia Batam, the research examines leadership succession not merely as a leadership change but as a strategic process that drives managerial transformation and human resource strengthening. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis involving organizational leaders, members, and the Muscab committee. The findings reveal that participatory and transparent leadership regeneration stimulates changes in organizational structure, decision-making processes, and work culture, which subsequently enhance member competence, organizational adaptability, and sustainability. Practically, this study provides guidance for professional organizations in designing participatory leadership succession mechanisms and adaptive management systems to support continuous HRD and long-term organizational sustainability. This study contributes analytical insights into the linkage between leadership succession and HRD in the context of local professional associations.

Abstract

This study examined the effects of training, career development, and role clarity on employee performance at the Bogor Medium Tax Office (KPP Madya Bogor). The research employed a quantitative causal research design to analyze the relationships among the variables. The population consisted of all 118 employees of KPP Madya Bogor, and a census sampling technique was applied, resulting in 118 respondents. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire measured with a five-point Likert scale. The data analysis techniques included validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 20. The results showed that all measurement instruments were valid and reliable, and the regression model met the classical assumption requirements. The multiple linear regression analysis revealed that training, career development, and role clarity each had a positive and statistically significant effect on employee performance. Among the three variables, training demonstrated the strongest influence on employee performance, followed by role clarity and career development. The coefficient of determination indicated that a substantial proportion of the variance in employee performance could be explained by the combined effects of the three independent variables. These findings suggest that employee performance in public sector tax institutions can be enhanced through effective training programs, structured career development systems, and clear role definitions. The study provides empirical evidence for the importance of integrated human resource management practices in improving performance within government organizations, particularly in the context of tax administration.

Abstract

Employee productivity is a crucial factor in determining organizational performance in the public sector, particularly within tax administration institutions characterized by high workload intensity, strict accuracy requirements, and performance targets. This study aims to analyze the effect of work experience, work discipline, and physical health on employee productivity at KPP Madya Surabaya. A quantitative approach with a causal associative design was employed. Data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 124 employees using a census method and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results indicate that work experience, work discipline, and physical health each have a positive and significant effect on employee productivity. Among the three variables, work experience emerges as the most dominant determinant, followed closely by physical health, while work discipline also contributes significantly. Simultaneously, the regression model demonstrates strong explanatory power, indicating that these individual human capital factors jointly explain a substantial proportion of employee productivity in the studied institution. These findings suggest that employee productivity in tax administration institutions is strongly influenced by individual human capital attributes rather than organizational procedures alone. By integrating work experience, discipline, and physical health within a single empirical model, this study extends the public sector human resource management literature and provides practical insights for policymakers and managers in designing experience-based development programs, reinforcing disciplinary systems, and supporting employee health to enhance productivity.
