Abstract

The rapid growth of digital media has positioned YouTube as a key platform for consumer information seeking, particularly through smartphone review content that shapes purchasing decisions. This study examines audience sentiment and identifies dominant discussion topics within comments on a YouTube review video of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Series. A quantitative descriptive approach was employed using text mining techniques, with data collected via web scraping yielding a dataset of 1,001 comments. The analysis comprised text preprocessing, lexicon-based sentiment analysis using the Indonesian Sentiment Lexicon (InSet), and topic modeling using Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA). The results indicate that positive sentiment dominates the discussion, accounting for 665 comments (66.4%), while 336 comments (33.6%) reflect negative sentiment. Positive comments cluster around themes of feature innovation, design appreciation, and favorable product evaluations, while also reflecting active audience engagement through content requests directed at the creator. Negative comments are primarily driven by concerns over screen reliability issues, particularly the green line problem associated with previous Samsung Galaxy devices. These findings highlight the value of YouTube comment analysis as a source of consumer intelligence, offering practical insights for digital marketing practitioners in managing brand perception and communication strategies during new product launch phases.

Abstract

This quantitative study analyzes the influence of toxic leadership on turnover intention in the retail sector in Indonesia in the post-COVID-19 context. Using an explanatory research approach with the PLS-SEM method, data were collected from 170 employees through a purposive sampling technique. The analysis results show that toxic leadership has a very strong positive and significant influence on turnover intention ( β = 0.850, t = 16.440, p < 0.001). Toxic leadership is able to explain the variation in turnover intention by 72.0%, The effect size value of f² = 2.550 indicates a very large effect. Key findings indicate that the Negative Spiritual State which is toxic leadership dimension is the most dominant behavioral manifestation. This is characterized by negative emotional outbursts in leaders, such as high volume, erratic moods, and inconsistent behavior that create uncertainty for subordinates. Retail companies must prioritize improving the quality of first-line leadership and establishing safe feedback mechanisms. Without intervention in leadership culture, other employee retention strategies will be difficult to maintain effectively, which may threaten the company’s operational stability.

Abstract

The growing complexity of risks and crisis situations across various sectors has encouraged the development of Artificial Intelligence-based Decision Support Systems (DSS) to support more accurate, responsive, and data-driven decision-making. These systems are considered valuable because they can help decision-makers analyze uncertainty, recognize potential threats, predict possible impacts, and determine appropriate actions in complex conditions. However, the use of black-box AI models creates serious challenges, particularly regarding transparency, accountability, interpretability, and user trust. Therefore, this study focuses on examining the trend of Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) integration in DSS for risk and crisis management, identifying the XAI methods commonly applied, and revealing research gaps that still need further attention. The study applies a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method using the PRISMA approach, involving 47 selected articles obtained from Scopus, IEEE Xplore, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar databases, published between 2020 and 2025. The findings show that XAI plays an important role in improving transparency, interpretability, and trust in AI-based DSS, with SHAP and LIME being the most frequently used methods. Nevertheless, gaps remain, especially limited XAI implementation in real-time crisis scenarios and insufficient human-centered design approaches. This study contributes a conceptual framework integrating DSS, XAI, and risk management.

Abstract

Global halal tourism is growing rapidly but is hindered by limited infrastructure and constrained access to Sharia financing. This study analyzes the strategic role of Islamic banks as financiers and digital integration innovators within the halal tourism ecosystem. Using a descriptive-qualitative literature research method, the study reveals three main findings. First, Islamic banks play a dual role as funding providers (via musyarakah and mudharabah) and ecosystem developers. Second, digitalization via AI and blockchain is a key catalyst for operational efficiency and end-to-end service integration. Third, integrating Islamic finance and tourism through digital platforms strengthens the competitiveness of global halal destinations. In conclusion, accelerating this ecosystem requires cross-sectoral collaboration supported by financing innovations and digitalization.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of mentor teachers in revitalizing the management of Ma’had Al-Zaytun toward fostering student independence in the digital age. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research informants consist of mentor teachers and students directly involved in the boarding school-based mentoring system. The results indicate that the management of the Islamic boarding school at Ma’had Al-Zaytun is implemented in a structured manner through the boarding school system and the “one-pipe education system” concept, which integrates religious education, science, information technology, and life skills into a single sustainable system. In its implementation, the mentor teacher plays a strategic role not only as a character guide and informal educator but also as a digital system mediator, a communication liaison with students’ guardians, and a supervisor of students’ expenditures through a cashless system. Mentor teachers also play a role in monitoring technology use, managing student information, and fostering students’ digital literacy and financial literacy through the cashless transaction system. This study confirms that the success of revitalizing the governance of modern Islamic boarding schools is determined not only by systems and leadership but also by the effectiveness of the “guru sandaran” as the primary implementers of character development and digital transformation within the boarding school environment.

Abstract

eSIM is an innovation born from the rapid development of technology and digital connectivity. However, its adoption rate still faces a significant gap, with only 1 million eSIM users out of 332 million mobile subscribers in Indonesia. Generation Z, as digital natives and the largest demographic group at 75.49 million, accounts for 25.54% of internet users with an 87.80% penetration rate, making them a highly relevant subject to explore in understanding the phenomenon of this technology adoption intention. This study seeks to address the aspects influencing the intention to adopt eSIM among Generation Z in Indonesia by applying a modification to the UTAUT2 model. This quantitative research involved 203 Generation Z respondents collected through a purposive sampling method. Model testing was conducted by utilizing SEM-PLS analysis via the RStudio application and the SeminR module. The results show that Performance Expectancy, Social Influence, and Environmental Awareness have a positive and significant effect on eSIM adoption intention. Conversely, Effort Expectancy, Facilitating Conditions, Hedonic Motivation, and Perceived Risk do not have a significant influence. These findings confirm that Generation Z tends to adopt eSIM if the technology is capable of providing practical efficiency, enhancing social image, and promoting environmental sustainability values.
