Aceh Journal of Community Engagement (AJCE) adalah jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan secara online (OJS), yang membahas praktik dan proses keterlibatan masyarakat. Yaitu kegiatan berupa pelatihan, penyuluhan, sosialisasi, bimbingan teknis, pengembangan program dan pengajaran. Edisi pertama terbit pada Agustus 2022 dan kami terbitkan tiga kali setahun (April, Agustus, Desember). Jurnal ini menyediakan forum bagi akademisi, praktisi dan perwakilan masyarakat untuk mengeksplorasi isu-isu dan merefleksikan praktik terkait dengan berbagai kegiatan yang me,ibatkan masyarakat. AJCE merupakan jurnal online peer-review yang didedikasikan untuk publikasi hasil layanan berkualitas tinggi yang berfokus pada pemanfaatan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, budaya dan sosial humaniora. Sesuai dengan namanya, jurnal ini menyebarluaskan isu-isu pelibatan masyarakat di Provinsi Aceh dan nasional, terlepas dari afiliasi penulisnya. Kompleksitas, keunikan dan kearifan lokal di masyarakat menjadi bagian tak terpisahkan dari kegiatan yang dilakukan untuk ditulis dalam artikel di jurnal ini. Jurnal ini didukung oleh Universitas Almuslim Peusangan Bireuen (Umuslim) yang diterbitkan oleh Lembaga Penelitian Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LPPM Umuslim). Peer reviewer berasal dari beberapa pakar dari perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Dan anggota tim redaksi yang mewakili setiap fakultas di Umuslim.

Abstract

The low level of literacy and numeracy skills for elementary school students is something that deserves attention so that it can change the level of children's abilities to be better at strengthening literacy and numeracy. The purpose of this activity is to increase the learning interest of elementary school students from various levels related to literacy and numeracy skills. This activity was carried out in Bandar Bireuen Village by utilizing existing village facilities and places. In addition, the service team from the lecturers and students also brought and provided some reading materials and mathematics learning media that could be used as a reference for children while studying. This activity took place in an orderly manner, the children looked enthusiastic with innovative and fun learning methods so as not to make children get bored quickly in learning. The children's vacation time is utilized by useful activities which are continuously accompanied and facilitated by a team of lecturers and students from the Mathematics Education Study program Almuslim University.

Abstract

Lecturer service activities in the form of training aim to increase participants' understanding, ability to use path analysis and skills in processing data with the SPSS application program. The training method is divided into the stages of material preparation and selection of participants, implementation by face-to-face interviews and practice, as well as evaluation of training results through discussions and post tests. The results of the activity show an increase in ability, understanding of the application of path analysis and the benefits of knowledge, skills from training and application of data processing results by being able to interpret them to help students complete thesis research analysis as teaching materials. requirements for later completion of the master of management studies

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian akademik tentang Penerapan Konsep Green Building dalam Konservasi Sumberdaya Air di Waduk Lhok Batee Desa Seuneubok Lhong Kecamatan Jeumpa Kabupaten Bireuen ini bertemakan “Penerapan teknik konservasi vegetatif (penanaman pohon) pada kawasan Agrowisata di wilayah Lhok Batee-Bireuen”. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam 3 tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan pelaporan. Hasil yang dicapai dari pengabdian ini adalah (1) pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat pengelola kawasan wisata Lhok Batee terhadap pentingnya menjaga kelestarian alam, (2) penerapan ilmu teknik konservasi tanah dan air kepada masyarakat pengelola kawasan agrowisata, dam (3) terciptanya masyarakat yang peduli terhadap lingkungan dengan pengeloaan kawasan agrowisata yang tepat. Keberlanjutan kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan kontinyuitas oleh dosen dan mahasiswa program Studi Pengelolaan Sumberdaya Alam dan Lingkungan Program Pascasarjana Universitas Al-Muslim

Abstract

Based on data from the Aceh Social Service there were 32 cases of violence in 2016, and this continues to increase starting from the elementary, middle and high school levels in Aceh, including cases of violence at Islamic boarding schools in the city of Banda Aceh. Dissemination of Information and Education about the impact of bullying cases on the development of social psychology of children at MTsN Negeri 2 Bireuen Regency which is carried out with dedication, to find out what is meant by bullying and the types of actions included in it, to find out the factors that cause bullying and the impact it has As a result, students' understanding of the dangers of bullying has a negative impact on the development of social psychology of children, giving students an understanding of the importance of helping each other and caring for each other, getting students to respect and respect each other so that students know how to deal with bullying. Equipping Class 3A students with knowledge about bullying and being able to avoid bullying practices at MTsN 2 Bireuen District. The Program Socialization Stage by conducting sociali-zation to the target group and agreeing on the time of implementation of the activities. The program implementation stage at MTsN 2 Bireuen, socializing the activity program to class 3A students and continuing to transfer knowledge and skills from the team to the target group.

Abstract

Lecturer service activities in the form of training aim to increase participants' understanding and ability in managing the OJS website and the use and application of OJS in managing online journals. The training method is divided into three stages, namely the planning and implementation stages, the activity observation stage and the activity evaluation stage. The results of the activity follow the flow following material on the introduction of OJS 3 which outlines journal publishing, the initial process of publishing a journal through the OJS portal (Open Journal System) and journal managers are introduced to website features. The target for managing journals currently managed is to be accredited nationally (SINTA). Furthermore, as a benchmark for respondents participating in the training, it can be analyzed in the question and answer session of participants to journal sources.

Abstract

The uniqueness and diversity of agricultural land culture and the cultural customs of the Takengon community have become the selling points of agrotourism in recent decades and are in great demand by the community. Takengon, in Central Aceh district, can be used as agrotourism with the presence of coffee plantation agricultural land. Agrotourism can be a solution for additional income for rural communities through the entrance to tourism, which will later attract national and international visitors. By utilizing the uniqueness of the region, the introduction of the concept of agrotourism to the Gayo Highlands Community, Bebesen District, Central Aceh Regency is needed. Abstract

Livestock plays an important role in terms of providing animal protein, social and economic (source of income and/or savings for livestock farmers) in the farming system in Indonesia. Fermentation is the process of preserving feed by providing starters (microorganisms) which is carried out anaerobically. The mechanism for implementing this community service program is carried out with the stages of problem and needs analysis, offering cooperation with partners, implementing activities, and evaluating activities. In community service activities, the stages that will be carried out to increase knowledge and skills will be outlined. The results obtained are an increase in knowledge, skills and attitudes in livestock business owners and workers at CV. Fadhilah Farm will utilize agricultural waste as raw material for making fermented feed and how to make it.

Abstract

The training focuses on introducing and implementing effective digital marketing strategies, such as social media marketing, search engine optimization, online advertising, and online reputation management. The methods used include workshops and direct mentoring for SMEs. The results of the activity show a significant increase in participants' understanding of digital marketing strategies, as well as an increased awareness of the importance of digital marketing in improving business competitiveness in the digital age. Additionally, this activity successfully facilitated the formation of a communication network among SMEs, serving as a platform for sharing information and experiences related to utilizing digital marketing strategies. Through this initiative, it is expected that SMEs in Gampong Beurawang will be better prepared to face business competition in the digital era, thereby increasing their income and well-being
