Abstract

Every General Election, the citizens of Medan City face quite a challenge in exercising their right to vote. Lack of political understanding may be the cause of the low voter participation among the citizens of Medan City. Passive activities in political education and political socialization contributed to the low level of involvement in Medan City. Therefore, the purpose of this service is to inform youth groups about digital-based political education through digital content development training. Participatory Learning and Action methods through learning procedures that combine lecture techniques and participatory discussions to group learning are carried out in this activity. Service activities carried out for Youth Karang Taruna, Medan Johor Subdistrict, include: First, learning about political education. Second, improve digital literacy competence and digital content creation. Third, training to become a content creator. The results of the service recommend activity participants improve their skills in creating digital content. Further development and training are needed to be skilled in honing the ability to produce digital content. For the sake of knowledge that is implemented in the form of digital-based political education, continuous guidance and assistance are needed for Youth Karang Taruna, Medan Johor District.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is as an effort to improve the performance of the Bina Qurani Al-Qurani Education Center in the management of academic administration related to the management of TPA learning in terms of learning administration management in the form of a Learning Implementation Plan, in addition to providing insight into making administration in TPA learning. The method used in this Service is by training with lectures, questions and answers and mentoring. Data collection techniques were obtained by direct observation, interviews and documentation at the Bina Qurani landfill organization which is located in the hamlet of Jetis Sinduadi Mlati Sleman Yogyakarta. The results of this service resulted in an increase in the performance of the Bina Qurani Landfill by producing a Learning Implementation Plan which was used as a guide in providing Iqra and Quran learning by ustazah or Bina Qurani landfill teachers.

Abstract

SMK IT Raflesia Depok is one of the high schools in the Depok City area which currently has a website that is used as a medium of information and communication, but does not yet provide teaching material services online. Apart from getting subject matter from school, students are usually still looking for additional material by attending private classes. With the development of technology that has developed in the field of education, access to subject matter can be done online, or what is commonly called e-learning. In order to carry out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, Nusa Mandiri University held an android-based "MojadiPro" e-learning application training for students of SMK IT Raflesia Depok which aims to provide information regarding the existence of the MojadiPro e-learning application, which later can be used by students as a companion application learning that can be accessed via a smartphone. The training was held on January 14 2023 at UNM Margonda Campus with 15 participants. The research results can increase participants' understanding of the development of e-learning from time to time and the technology used in the development of e-learning platforms

Abstract

Entrepreneurship has become one of the subjects in universities including pharmaceutical colleges and colleges, but so far, the motivation to become an entrepreneur has not been seen by many pharmacy students, because the tendency is that after they graduate from the academy, they enter the world of work and work a lot in pharmacies. or familiarity. The purpose of this service is to motivate them to become pharmacists and develop according to the discipline they are pursuing. The dedication was carried out by holding a seminar attended by students of the Nusa Putera College of Pharmacy Semarang. The results of this activity became motivation and enthusiasm for students to understand the world of entrepreneurship in accordance with the education they are occupied so they can become pharmacistpreneurs.

Abstract

The use of social media for community organizations seems to be the most promising as an organizational communication facility because it can be a driving force to increase participation and democracy support. aims to produce IPM cadres who are ready to preach in the community. Communication messages on social media are on behalf of the organization, so the responsibility is not only on the individual but also on the organization, because in the organizational process usually the messages conveyed are organizational procedures. Therefore, social media must always prioritize the values ​​of integrity, professionalism, collegiality, politeness, and professional ethics. The success of every organization in achieving its goals is inseparable from the role of communication because through communication people in an organization will interact with each other, be it exchanging information giving opinions, instructions or motivating each other. The method used in this service activity is mentoring using social media wisely for da'wah activities. After holding this training, students are expected to know the ins and outs of how to use social media wisely and properly in using it, so as not to affect the wider community.

Abstract

The Literacy Program as a community service activity is part of the Teaching Campus Program Batch 4 of 2022.  As a form of implementing Merdeka Belajar, the deployment of students to predetermined schools is intended to help the learning process in schools. The object of this activity is students of SMP IT AL-INABAH PONOROGO which is located at Jl. Harapan Jaya, Japan, Babadan District, Ponorogo Regency, East Java. The method of implementing service, through making means based on student creativity, to be taught to students. Literacy and Numeracy are not limited to literacy activities, but rather add insight to students in terms of art, skills, and technology-based learning such as the use of computers for typing and others. The literacy and numeracy improvement program is  one of the branches of the interests of Technology Adaptation, improving Administeration, and assisting the school in the teaching process. The result of this service activity is the implementation of several activities that are integrated with Literacy and Numeracy, namely as follows: Procurement of reading gardens, reading corners, traditional dance training, hygiene guard training, and Joyfull Learning activities. The objectives of the above activities are to foster empathy and social sensitivity, improve skills in thinking and cooperation between teachers and students, develop knowledge, identity, and student skills, increase the role and real contribution of universities and students in national development

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia have become the biggest contributor to economic growth. The success of small and medium businesses is inseparable from digital developments. In increasing financial managerial capacity in terms of financial reporting, one of the methods used is to prepare financial reports with the help of the SME Accounting application. Community service implementation partners are SMEs engaged in buying and selling groceries. In order to improve financial literacy of partners, the methods used are in the form of lectures, discussions, mentoring and practice. In implementing the SME Accounting application, partners are assisted in creating accounts and inputting transactions. The purpose of this activity is to facilitate partners in preparing financial reports through the implementation of the SME Accounting application. The results of the activity show that partners are assisted by this activity, and hope that this activity can continue

Abstract

The existence of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia is quite dominating and is the backbone that supports economic growth and provides jobs. Its existence needs to be appreciated and developed by providing access to financing, guidance and assistance so that it can develop its business. Training and mentoring activities are carried out in order to improve accounting skills for one of the micro businesses in Padang City "UD. Sala Lauak Kito. There is a need for partners to gain knowledge and understanding of accounting books and the ability to make financial reports. Until now, partners have not carried out the bookkeeping process so that cost and income information is not generated accurately. Implementation of activities consists of three stages: planning, implementation and final stage. Overall, all stages were carried out for 2 months. From planning to final stage. The training was carried out for 1 day and mentoring was carried out 1 month after the training. The method of implementation is in the form of material explanation presentations, exercises, discussions, question and answer discussions and independent learning through modules. The training material provided is in the form of knowledge related to the accounting cycle from recording to financial reporting. After the implementation of the activities there is an increase in accounting knowledge, the creation of complete and valid financial information, the existence of documented bookkeeping, the preparation of financial reports as information from the business. The output of this activity is the publication of print/digital newspapers and activity videos via YouTube media.

Abstract

Catfish (Clarias sp.) is one of the freshwater commodities that is favored because of its high economic value, rich in protein, can be cultivated in narrow land or yards and of course much in demand by the public. Efforts to develop in cultivation continue to be made, including an increase in seed production. The purpose of this activity is to provide training to partners in this case are students of the Department of Fisheries Cultivation, SMKN 1 Sebatik Barat regarding the semi-artificial spawning system (injection mating) and enrichment of feed with turmeric flour to support increased production and quality of catfish seeds. The methods used are socialization and counseling with lectures, hands-on practice related to injecting mating techniques with ovaprim hormone and making feed enriched with turmeric flour. The results of the activity showed an increase in partner knowledge regarding the benefits of turmeric and the role of hormone use in hatchery activities. In addition, partners have also been able to select gonadally mature broodstock, make feed enriched with turmeric flour and perform injection mating of catfish with hormones appropriately. The hope for follow-up is that partners can apply the techniques that have been learned for hatchery activities so that the scarcity of seeds, especially in West Sebatik, can be overcome and no longer have to bring in from outside

Abstract

The lack of student skills, especially in the practice of tax reporting and socialization of tax reporting for students, makes training necessary for students, where this understanding will be embedded in the minds of students when they can become taxpayers. Therefore, the community service team at the Semarang University proposed training activities on MSME taxation for students at SMKN 2 Semarang. The purpose of holding this activity is to provide tax reporting practices in accordance with applicable regulations and increase self-awareness to comply with paying taxes. Community service activities in the form of MSME taxation training are packaged in seminars containing hands-on practice, namely the practice of simple income tax calculations, as well as the final tax reporting mechanism (Final Income Tax) using the DJP System in accordance with the latest tax laws. Tax training was held in October 2022 in the SMKN 2 Semarang. After the activity is carried out, the results of the pretest and posttest can be concluded that students can understand the steps for reporting MSME business taxation properly and correctly according to applicable regulations. Therefore, tax training especially for MSMEs must be carried put early on to raise awareness of tax reporting for graduates, especially those who are going to be entrepreneurs and work so that they can carry out MSME business tax reporting practices properly and correctly according to applicable regulations
