Abstract

Papua Province, as one of the outermost and foremost regions in Indonesia, still faces various challenges in improving access to and quality of education for its children. The School Expectancy Score (AHS) for completing a certain level of education can be an important indicator for understanding the level of education in an area. This research aims to reveal the urgency of children's AHS as an effort to develop human resources in Papua Province. The research method used is a qualitative approach with secondary data collection. Data analysis was carried out to evaluate trends and patterns of AHS in Papua Province over the last few years, as well as identify factors that influence AHS. The research results show that AHS in Papua is still low compared to the national average, indicating a significant education gap between Papua Province and other regions in Indonesia. Factors such as inadequate educational infrastructure, high levels of poverty, social conflict, and cultural diversity are the main obstacles to achieving increased AHS in Papua New Guinea. It can be concluded that increasing children's AHS in Papua Province has high urgency in human resource development efforts. By overcoming these obstacles, Papua Province can encourage wider educational participation and improve the standard of living of its people.

Abstract

The market share of Islamic banking in Banten is still below 6.65 percent compared to conventional banks. The purpose of this study is to determine what factors influence people in determining financial institutions for their banking activities. The variables used are service quality, promotion, knowledge, motivation, religiosity and information technology. This study was conducted in Banten Province in June 2023 with a sample of 100 respondents. Quantitative data processing will be processed with AMOS 22 software. This study is useful for providing input to Islamic banks in making good plans so that customers become loyal to Islamic banks. The results of the study showed that the service quality variable was significant while the motivation, knowledge, religiosity, promotion and information technology variables were not significant. It can be concluded that in the variables studied, only service quality influenced customer selection of banks.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the implementation of digital services by customers and agents, and to evaluate the effect of digital marketing usage on service quality at PT. Equity Life Indonesia Makassar branch. A qualitative approach with case study and descriptive research types was used through interviews with eight informants, including the support team, agents, and customers. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis used qualitative descriptive methods. The results of the study show that PT. Equity Life Indonesia has provided digital services such as websites, My Elife, Online Chat WhatsApp, CMS applications for agents, and social media with features that can be used directly by agents and customers. Although many have used digital services, some agents and customers still prefer to get information directly from agents, support teams, and customer service. Agents use social media to prospect and recruit new agents, attract public attention by uploading superior products, proof of claim payments, rewards, agent contests, and other activities that help the company's branding. So, it can be concluded that PT. Equity Life Indonesia has provided comprehensive digital services, which can be accessed and used by agents and customers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze employee performance improvement strategies at Bank Negara Indonesia Makale Branch Office. Data were obtained from primary and secondary data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research method used was qualitative using SWOT analysis. The results showed that the strength of employee performance lies in fulfilling the workload according to SOP and job description, a harmonious work environment, and adequate work facilities. However, there are several weaknesses such as delays in repairing work equipment, lack of human resources in customer service positions, and employees who are not domiciled in Makale. Opportunities in improving performance include employee motivation and career development, while threats include employees who are not domiciled in Makale and a lack of security personnel. Obstacles faced by employees include damaged work equipment, lack of human resources, and limited security personnel. Factors that support employee performance include fulfilling the workload, a harmonious work atmosphere, adequate work facilities, and employee motivation. It can be concluded that performance strengths must be maximized and must take advantage of opportunities so that performance continues to improve.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze simultaneous and partial effects of education, income, number of children, implementation Catur Guru teachings, and understanding of the Balinese Krama KB concept on the Level Sustainability KB Participation in the KB Village Program in Cau Belayu Village. Also, to analyze the role of understanding the Balinese Krama KB concept in moderating the implementation of Catur Guru teachings on the level of sustainability of KB participation in the KB Village Program in Cau Belayu Village. This study used a quantitative method with sample of 81 people. Data analysis was using logistic regression and moderation analysis. The results showed education, income, number of children, implementation Catur Guru teachings, and understanding of the Balinese Krama KB concept simultaneously had a significant effect on the sustainability of KB participation. Partially, education, number of children, and implementation Catur Guru teachings had positive and significant effect, while income and understanding the Balinese Krama KB concept had negative effect. It can be concluded that the five variables are able to explain the factors that influence KB participants in determining the decision to continue using contraception or not, the rest explained or influenced by variables not included in the study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the simultaneous and partial influence of the number of consumers, women's contribution to family income, socio-economic conditions, the concept of work in Hinduism, and the intensity of traditional activities on the outpouring of working hours of female flower traders at Taman Sari Flower Market. Also, to analyze the role of the intensity of traditional activities in moderating the influence of the concept of work in Hinduism on the outpouring of working hours of female flower traders at Taman Sari Flower Market. The number of samples was 77 female flower traders. The design of this study used a quantitative approach in the form of associative. Data were collected using observation and interview methods, data analysis was carried out using moderated regression analysis. The results showed that all factors, including the number of consumers, women's contribution to household income, socio-economic conditions, the concept of work in Hinduism, and the intensity of traditional activities, had a positive and significant impact on the working hours of female flower traders. It can be concluded that the higher the factors that affect the outpouring of working hours, the working hours will increase, and vice versa.

Abstract

This study examines the role of behavioral finance of MSMEs in Bali province in making financial decisions, both financing decisions, investment and profit distribution policies. This study uses a quantitative research design, which is based on the positivist paradigm. This study was conducted first using in-depth interviews since conducting the initial survey and distributing questionnaires to respondents and then calculating three financial ratios to assess the quality of financial decisions. Furthermore, a quantitative analysis was carried out based on multivariate analysis using a structural equation model or SEM (structural equation modeling) based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The respondents selected in the study came from real sector MSMEs that received financing from the banking sector as many as 212 MSMEs. The results of the study showed that behavioral finance had a negative and significant effect on the company's financial decisions, which were stated as negative and significant. It can be concluded that the increase in Behavioral Finance as measured by Overconfidence, Representativeness, Herding, Anchoring, Cognitive Dissonance, Regret Aversion, Gambler's Fallace, Mental Accounting, Hindsight can reduce the quality of financial decisions as measured by the debt to asset ratio, capital structure ratio and retention ratio.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemasaran media sosial dan citra merek terhadap keputusan pembelian melalui kepercayaan merek pada pengguna pasar bukalapak. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini terdiri dari seluruh pengguna pasar bukalapak. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 150 partisipan yang berbelanja di bukalapak. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara acak menggunakan metode non-probability sampling.kuesioner digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Skala masalah yang digunakan antara 1 sampai 7. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi berganda dan analisis jalur yang didukung software SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pemasaran media sosial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepercayaan. (2) Citra merek berpengaruh positif dan kuat terhadap kepercayaan. (3) Pemasaran media sosial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. (4) Citra tidak mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. (5) Kepercayaan merek berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. (6) Kepercayaan merek dapat mempengaruhi dampak pemasaran media sosial terhadap keputusan pembelian. (7) Kepercayaan merek dapat memediasi pengaruh citra merek terhadap keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi prinsip-prinsip etika bisnis dalam Islam, implikasi penerapan etika bisnis Islam dalam praktik kontemporer, dan perbandingan antara etika bisnis Islam dan etika bisnis konvensional. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah penelitian pustaka atau tinjauan literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dalam perspektif Islam, etika bisnis membentuk fondasi fundamental yang mempengaruhi setiap aspek operasional perusahaan dan interaksi dengan pemangku kepentingan. Berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip inti seperti keadilan (al‘adl), kejujuran (sidq), amanah (trustworthiness), dan tanggung jawab sosial (mas'uliyyah), etika bisnis Islam menekankan pelaksanaan bisnis dengan moralitas dan integritas yang tinggi. Etika bisnis dalam perspektif Islam memainkan peran penting dalam memastikan praktik bisnis yang adil, transparan, dan berkelanjutan. Etika bisnis Islam tidak hanya berfokus pada keuntungan ekonomi tetapi juga pada keseimbangan antara kepentingan individu dan masyarakat. Islam menekankan pentingnya keadilan, kejujuran, kepercayaan, dan tanggung jawab sosial dalam setiap transaksi bisnis. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa etika bisnis Islam memberikan panduan yang komprehensif untuk melaksanakan praktik bisnis yang etis dan bertanggung jawab sesuai dengan ajaran Islam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis strategi inovasi manajemen sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kinerja organisasi. Inovasi dalam manajemen sumber daya manusia mencakup berbagai aspek seperti rekrutmen dan seleksi, pelatihan dan pengembangan, manajemen kinerja, dan sistem penghargaan. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus dengan perusahaan teknologi terkemuka di Indonesia untuk mengidentifikasi beberapa praktik inovatif yang berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan kinerja bisnis. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan manajer sumber daya manusia dan karyawan, serta analisis dokumen internal. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi digital dalam rekrutmen dan seleksi, program pengembangan berbasis e-learning, sistem manajemen kinerja adaptif, dan kompensasi berbasis kinerja efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan produktivitas karyawan. Ringkasnya, strategi inovasi dalam manajemen sumber daya manusia merupakan elemen kunci yang dapat mendukung organisasi untuk meningkatkan kinerjanya di dunia yang semakin kompetitif.
