Abstract

Although research on Collaborative Governance in public program implementation has been widely studied, research examining collaboration between local governments and Islamic financial institutions in financing Street Vendors (PKL) remains limited. This study aims to analyze and describe Collaborative Governance between the Bukittinggi City Government and PT. BPRS Jam Gadang in implementing the Utsman Program for financing Street Vendors in the Aur Kuning Market Area, as well as identifying factors influencing its implementation. This study used a qualitative case study approach. Informants were selected through purposive sampling, involving representatives of the Bukittinggi City Government, PT. BPRS Jam Gadang, and Utsman Program beneficiaries. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that Collaborative Governance in the Utsman Program is implemented through cross-sector collaboration with clear role distribution, communication, coordination, and shared commitment between institutions. Supporting factors include regulatory support, effective communication, institutional commitment, and financial resources. However, administrative complexity, limited socialization, and challenges in achieving business independence remain obstacles. The study concludes that effective Collaborative Governance requires strong inter-organizational relationships and sustainable financial support to strengthen empowerment programs for Street Vendors.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of work-life balance, work environment, and job satisfaction on the performance of employees at PDAM Tirta Anai, Padang Pariaman Regency, while also investigating the mediating role of job satisfaction in these relationships. The research employed a quantitative causal-associative approach using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to analyze the proposed research model. The study population consisted of all employees of PDAM Tirta Anai, and a saturation sampling technique was applied, resulting in a total sample of 193 respondents. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed to assess both direct and indirect relationships among the variables. The findings reveal that work-life balance, work environment, and job satisfaction each have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, both work-life balance and the work environment positively and significantly influence job satisfaction, indicating that employees who experience a better balance between work and personal life, as well as a supportive work environment, tend to report higher levels of job satisfaction. The mediation analysis demonstrates that job satisfaction partially mediates the relationship between work-life balance and employee performance, as well as the relationship between the work environment and employee performance. These findings emphasize the importance of fostering a healthy work environment and promoting work-life balance to improve employee satisfaction and enhance organizational performance.

Abstract

Employee performance is one of the key determinants of organizational success, particularly in the banking sector, where service quality and organizational competitiveness depend heavily on human resources. Generation Z employees possess distinctive characteristics that require organizations to consider psychological and organizational factors in improving their performance. This study aims to analyze the effects of emotional intelligence and affective commitment on employee performance, with organizational climate serving as a moderating variable. The research employed a quantitative approach using a causal explanatory design. Data were collected from 103 Generation Z employees working in the banking sector in Padang City, West Sumatra, through a structured questionnaire. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software. The findings reveal that emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, whereas affective commitment does not have a significant direct effect on employee performance. Furthermore, organizational climate significantly moderates the relationship between emotional intelligence and employee performance with a negative direction, while positively moderating the relationship between affective commitment and employee performance. These findings indicate that a supportive organizational climate does not always strengthen the influence of psychological factors on employee performance but may produce different moderating effects depending on the relationship examined. This study contributes to the development of Affective Events Theory by providing empirical evidence regarding the interaction between individual psychological factors and organizational climate in explaining Generation Z employee performance in the banking sector.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of brand image and service quality on repurchase intention through customer satisfaction among Kopi Kenangan consumers in the Jabodetabek area. The research is based on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), which explains that consumers' behavioral intentions are influenced by their attitudes and evaluations of products and services. The rapid growth of the modern coffee shop industry has intensified market competition, making it increasingly important for companies to maintain a strong brand image, deliver high-quality services, and ensure customer satisfaction to encourage repeat purchases. This study employs a quantitative approach using a purposive sampling technique involving 200 respondents who had purchased Kopi Kenangan products at least twice within the last three months. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings indicate that brand image and service quality have positive and significant effects on customer satisfaction and repurchase intention. Furthermore, customer satisfaction positively influences repurchase intention and serves as a significant partial mediator in the relationship between brand image, service quality, and repurchase intention. These findings emphasize the importance of enhancing customer satisfaction to strengthen long-term consumer loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the market segmentation and demand potential of Best.Camp, a beachfront café operating in the Megamas Area, Manado City. A descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach was employed, using primary data from field observations and secondary data from the Central Bureau of Statistics and the Manado City Population and Civil Registration Office. Market segmentation was analyzed based on geographic, demographic, psychographic, and behavioral aspects, referring to Kotler's segmentation theory. The results show that although the productive age group (15–35 years) accounts for only 33–35% of Manado City's total population, this group dominates up to 55% of the estimated 30,000 daily visitors to the Megamas Area, equivalent to approximately 16,500 productive-age visitors per day. Based on actual field data, Best.Camp's current sales reach 30 portions per day for Ayam Crispi Sambal Mata and 35 cups per day for Best Coffee Milk, with market shares of 23.64% and 17.40%, respectively, relative to total market demand for similar products in the area. The substantial untapped market potential indicates significant room for growth, suggesting that Best.Camp can further expand its production capacity and marketing strategy to capture a larger share of the Megamas culinary market.

Abstract

The high contribution of human factors to truck fleet accidents has encouraged PT XYZ to implement a GPS-based Safety Driving Monitoring System (SDMS) as an effort to improve driving safety and operational performance. This study aims to analyze the effects of SDMS completeness and reliability, feedback and coaching, and managerial integration on SDMS usage intensity, as well as to examine the effect of SDMS usage intensity on driver safety performance and operational performance through the mediating role of driver safety performance. This study employed an explanatory quantitative approach involving 170 tronton truck drivers as respondents selected using a probability sampling method. Data analysis was conducted using Covariance-Based Structural Equation Modeling (CB-SEM) to examine the relationships among research variables. The results indicate that SDMS completeness and reliability, feedback and coaching, and managerial integration positively influence SDMS usage intensity. Furthermore, SDMS usage intensity significantly improves driver safety performance and operational performance, while driver safety performance strengthens the relationship between SDMS usage and operational performance. This study implies that the successful implementation of SDMS is not only determined by technological aspects but also by managerial support and user behavior management in improving fleet safety and operational efficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of AI literacy and digital competence on the work readiness of room division employees at star-rated hotels in Tasikmalaya Regency. A quantitative approach with an explanatory survey design was employed, involving 110 employees selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a closed-ended questionnaire based on a five-point Likert scale, distributed through Google Forms and direct administration, and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares with SmartPLS. The results indicate that AI literacy has a positive and significant effect on work readiness, with a path coefficient of 0.381, while digital competence also has a positive and significant effect, with a path coefficient of 0.472. The R-square value of 0.647 shows that both variables explain 64.7% of the variance in employee work readiness. Digital competence emerged as the more dominant factor in enhancing work readiness. These findings imply that hotel management should integrate digital competence and AI literacy training, strengthen employees’ understanding of data ethics and security, and provide continuous assistance to support effective adaptation and human–AI collaboration.

Abstract

This study discusses Canang Ceureukeh , a traditional music form originating from Lhokseumawe City, Aceh. The research aims to explore the musical structure of Canang Ceureukeh , its social functions and cultural values, public perception in the modern era, and the challenges and efforts related to its preservation. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, with ethnographic methods involving observation, interviews, and documentation in two main locations: Gampong Hagu Teungoh and Gampong Ulee Jalan. The results show that Canang Ceureukeh is performed in groups using canang (small gongs), drums, and serunee (Acehnese wind instruments), characterized by fast rhythms and vocal improvisation. It serves as entertainment, a vehicle for moral messages, and a cultural identity marker. While the older generation still values this music tradition, interest among younger people is declining due to modern musical influences. Preservation efforts are ongoing through village art centers, but they face obstacles such as lack of regeneration and limited institutional support. The study concludes that Canang Ceureukeh is a valuable cultural heritage that requires serious attention for its preservation.
