Abstract

Purpose of the study — This study aims to analyze the effect of work motivation and work discipline on employee performance at PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk. Research method—The method used is descriptive quantitative verification with multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 25, involving 61 respondents. Result— The results of the study indicate that work motivation (X1) has a significant positive effect on employee performance with a regression coefficient value of 0.504, while work discipline (X2) also has a significant positive effect with a regression coefficient of 0.436. Overall, the regression model shows an R² value of 0.89, indicating that 89% of employee performance variability can be explained by the two independent variables. Conclusion— This study concludes that increasing work motivation and work discipline is very important to improve employee performance. The practical implications of this study indicate the need for companies to implement strategies to increase motivation and discipline in order to achieve optimal performance.

Abstract

Purpose of the study — This research aims to analyze the influence of education and career development on employee performance at PT Dian Swaistika Sentosa Tb Research method— This research used descriptive quantitative verification methods with SPSS version 25 and multiple linear regression analysis, involving 61 respondents Result— The results of the research show that the education variable gets a pretty good score, career development gets a pretty good score and performance gets a pretty good score. Partially, the education variable (X1) has no effect on performance, while the career development variable (X2) has a significant effect on performance. Simultaneously, both educational variables (X1) and career development (X2) have a significant effect on performance Conclusion— The findings suggest that career development is a key factor influencing employee performance, while education alone does not significantly impact performance. The practical implication is that the company should focus on providing effective career development programs to improve overall employee performance

Abstract

Purpose of the study — This research aimed to determine the influence of workload and work environment on the performance of Karawang Health Service employees. Research method— The study employed a descriptive, quantitative, and verification approach using multiple linear regression analysis with the SPSS 25 application. Data was collected through questionnaires and interviews with 81 respondents. Result— The results showed that the workload scored high, the work environment scored average with good criteria, and employee performance scored average with good criteria. Partially, workload had a very significant effect on employee performance, while the work environment had no effect and a negative influence on employee performance. Simultaneously, workload and work environment had a very significant effect on employee performance. Conclusion— The high workload and average work environment significantly affected employee performance at the Karawang Health Service. Improving the work environment could enhance employee performance further.

Abstract

Purpose of the study — This research aims to determine the influence of work discipline and organizational culture on performance at the Assidiqiyah Islamic Boarding School Foundation Research method— The study employed a quantitative descriptive and verification approach, utilizing SPSS version 25 for analysis. The research was conducted at the Assidiqiyah 3 Karawang Islamic Boarding School with 55 respondents. Result— Findings indicate that work discipline scored 203, organizational culture scored 201, and performance scored 205, all classified as good. Work discipline (X1) showed no significant effect on performance (p = 0.409), while organizational culture (X2) had a significant effect (p = 0.000). Additionally, both variables together significantly influenced performance (p = 0.000). Conclusion— The study recommends organizational development for Islamic boarding school administrators to enhance work discipline, organizational culture, and performance through training or workshops, thereby optimizing management effectiveness.

Purpose of the study — This research aims to analyze the implementation of salam contracts based on PSAK Syariah on the Shopee e-commerce platform, focusing on user understanding and transaction practices. Research method— A descriptive method with a qualitative approach was employed, utilizing direct observation and interviews with sellers and buyers on the Shopee platform Result— The findings indicate that many Shopee users are unaware of salam contracts; however, those who do engage in transactions meet the necessary requirements and maintain harmonious buying and selling practices Conclusion— The study concludes that while awareness of salam contracts is limited, users are capable of fulfilling contractual obligations. Abstract

Purpose of the study — The study aims to determine the influence of Competence and Work Motivation on Employee Performance, highlighting their roles in achieving the organization’s vision and mission. Research method—This research employs descriptive and verification analysis methods with a quantitative approach. A nonprobability sampling method using purposive sampling technique was applied, gathering data through questionnaires distributed via Google Forms to 78 respondents from the production division of PT XYZ. The respondent selection was based on the Slovin formula, with a population of 352 employees. Data analysis was conducted using multiple regression analysis with SPSS software version 23. Result— The analysis reveals a positive and significant effect of both Competence and Work Motivation on Employee Performance when considered individually. Additionally, a simultaneous positive and significant effect of both variables on Employee Performance was confirmed. Conclusion— Competence and Work Motivation are crucial factors that significantly enhance Employee Performance, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Abstract

Purpose of the study — This study aims to obtain qualified nurses by analyzing the influence of career development, motivation, and job satisfaction on nurses’ performance at Pertamina Cirebon Hospital. Research method—The study employed a quantitative method. Data were processed using IBM SPSS Statistic 25, and the sample consisted of 64 nurses, determined through the Slovin formula. Result— Partial test results indicate that career development (t = 2.214 > 1.670; sig. 0.031 < 0.05) and work motivation (t = 3.993 > 1.670; sig. 0.000 < 0.05) have a positive and significant effect on nurses’ performance. Job satisfaction (t = 1.733 > 1.670; sig. 0.088 < 0.05) also shows a positive and significant influence. Simultaneous testing (F = 41.201 > 2.75; sig. 0.000 < 0.05) reveals that career development, motivation, and job satisfaction collectively have a positive and significant impact on nurses’ performance. Conclusion— Work motivation is the most dominant factor affecting nurses’ performance, while job satisfaction requires more attention. Pertamina Cirebon Hospital needs to improve job satisfaction effectively to further enhance nurses’ performance.

Abstract

Purpose of the study — This research aims to find out: How big is the influence of Compensation, Work Facilities, Skills and Motivation on the Performance of Village Office Employees in Suranenggala District, Cirebon Regency, both partially and simultaneously. Research Place at Village Offices in Suranenggala District, Cirebon Regency. Research method— The population in this study was 111 Village Office Employees in Suranenggala District, Cirebon Regency, a sample of 53 people. The research design uses a quantitative approach, survey method, with data analysis techniques using Multiple Linear Regression analysis. Result— The results of this research show: 1) There is a significant positive influence of partial compensation on the performance of Village Office employees in Suranenggala District, Cirebon Regency, 22%, the remaining 78% is influenced by other factors. 2) There is a significant positive influence of partial work facilities on the performance of Village Office employees in Suranenggala District, Cirebon Regency, amounting to 22.6%, the remaining 77.4% is influenced by other factors. 3) There is a significant positive influence of skills partially on the performance of Village Office employees in Suranenggala District, Cirebon Regency, amounting to 68.8%, the remaining 31.2% is influenced by other factors. 4) There is a significant positive influence of partial motivation on the performance of Village Office employees in Suranenggala District, Cirebon Regency, amounting to 31%, the remaining 69% is influenced by other factors. 5) There is a significant positive influence of compensation, work facilities, skills and motivation simultaneously on the performance of Village Office employees in Suranenggala District, Cirebon Regency, amounting to 99.9%. The remaining 1% is influenced by other factors. Conclusion— Overall, compensation, work facilities, skills, and motivation are interrelated and collectively contribute to employee performance. Effective management needs to consider all these factors to create a productive work environment and motivate employees to give their best.

Abstract

Purpose of the study — This research aims to investigate the impact of service quality and brand image on customer satisfaction and its subsequent effects on customer loyalty at Banco Nacional Comercio Timor-Leste, Suai Branch. Research method—A quantitative descriptive approach was employed, utilizing surveys distributed to customers who have been clients for at least three years. The data was analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) structural equation modeling. Result— The findings indicate a weak influence of service quality and brand image on customer satisfaction (R-Square = 0.185), while customer satisfaction, along with these variables, significantly contributes to customer loyalty (R-Square = 0.487). Conclusion— The study concludes that enhancing service quality and brand image is crucial for improving customer satisfaction, which in turn fosters customer loyalty. Practical implications include recommendations for the bank to refine service strategies to meet customer expectations effectively.
