Abstract

This study examines the interpretation of QS. Luqman: 33 in constructing self-accountability awareness through a thematic interpretation approach and character education perspective. This research aims to analyze the concept of moral responsibility in the Qur’an and its relevance to contemporary social problems such as nepotism, integrity crisis, and weak professionalism. The study employs a qualitative library research method using thematic interpretation (tafsir maudhu’i) combined with the adabi ijtima’i approach. Data were obtained from classical and contemporary tafsir literature, academic journals, and character education studies. The findings reveal three main principles of self-accountability in QS. Luqman: 33: (1) individual moral responsibility, (2) awareness of worldly deception, and (3) transcendental accountability before Allah. Furthermore, the study finds that these values are relevant in strengthening integrity, professionalism, and moral responsibility in the digital era. The study concludes that QS. Luqman: 33 provides a theological foundation for developing Qur’anic-based character education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the professionalism of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in shaping the religious environment of madrasahs and strengthening students' character. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed through data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that PAI teachers' professionalism is evident in discipline, example, consistency in guiding religious activities, and active involvement in building the madrasah's religious culture. Religious programs such as Qur'an tadarus, congregational prayers, and Friday alms are effective habituation media in instilling religious values, discipline, responsibility, empathy, and social concern in students. Madrasah policy support, parental involvement, and teacher motivation are supporting factors, while limited facilities, administrative burden, and uneven student discipline are inhibiting factors. This study confirms that the professionalism of PAI teachers is not only about teaching, but also about guiding, setting an example, and sustainably advancing religious culture. Thus, the formation of students' religious character requires synergy between teachers, madrasas, families, and a consistent religious culture.

Abstract

Krisis iklim global saat ini telah mencapai tahap yang mengkhawatirkan dan mengancam keberlangsungan ekosistem serta kehidupan manusia. Menanggapi fenomena tersebut, pendidikan Islam memegang peran strategis dalam menumbuhkan kesadaran lingkungan melalui pendekatan ekoteologi berbasis rahmah (kasih sayang) sebagai landasan etis dan spiritual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan konsep "kurikulum cinta" (curriculum of love) yang berfokus pada nilai kasih sayang, kepedulian terhadap lingkungan, serta tanggung jawab moral terhadap alam semesta. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif-deskriptif melalui analisis literatur yang mendalam, studi ini mengkaji integrasi prinsip rahmatan lil ‘alamin ke dalam struktur kurikulum pendidikan Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum berbasis cinta efektif dalam membentuk karakter ekologis peserta didik. Hal ini dicapai melalui internalisasi nilai rahmah, pengembangan empati lingkungan, serta penerapan praktik hidup berkelanjutan. Lebih lanjut, model pendidikan ini memperkokoh hubungan spiritual antara manusia dan alam yang dipandang sebagai bentuk ibadah ekologis. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa transformasi pendidikan Islam melalui ekoteologi berbasis rahmah merupakan strategi krusial untuk memitigasi krisis iklim sekaligus mencetak generasi yang berwawasan lingkungan. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengembangan kurikulum, metode pedagogi, serta perumusan kebijakan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh literasi digital guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar di era transformasi pendidikan digital. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa SD Negeri 1 Sungai Bungin Kecamatan Pangkalan Lampam Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir, sedangkan sampel penelitian ditentukan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan skala Likert yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan bantuan aplikasi Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) melalui analisis deskriptif, uji normalitas, dan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi digital guru berada pada kategori tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata 82,47, sedangkan motivasi belajar siswa berada pada kategori tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata 84,13. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 dan nilai thitung sebesar 6,782 > ttabel 2,001 sehingga terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara literasi digital guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa literasi digital guru memberikan kontribusi sebesar 56,3% terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan, perhatian, dan semangat belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, penguatan literasi digital guru menjadi faktor penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar pada era pendidikan modern.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi dimensi Berkebinekaan Global dalam membangun karakter toleransi beragama pada peserta didik di SDN 3 Tugumulyo. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru, dan peserta didik yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi dimensi Berkebinekaan Global dilaksanakan melalui tiga strategi utama: (1) pengenalan budaya lintas agama dalam kegiatan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5); (2) dialog interkultural sebagai sarana menumbuhkan rasa saling menghargai; dan (3) pembiasaan sikap toleran tanpa mengorbankan identitas keagamaan masing-masing siswa. Integrasi dimensi ini terbukti efektif membangun sikap inklusif dan meminimalkan potensi intoleransi di lingkungan sekolah. Tantangan yang diidentifikasi meliputi keterbatasan waktu P5, belum meratanya pemahaman guru, dan pengaruh negatif media sosial. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa keteladanan guru dan desain pembelajaran kolaboratif lintas agama merupakan kunci pembentukan karakter toleransi yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Qur’anic tahfidz excellence program in improving students’ memorization at SMP Al Hikmah Sirampog and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. The tahfidz Al-Qur’an program is one of the school’s flagship programs oriented toward improving the quality of students’ memorization while also developing their religious character. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects included the principal, tahfidz coordinator, tahfidz teachers, and students participating in the tahfidz program. The findings reveal that the implementation of the tahfidz program at SMP Al Hikmah Sirampog consists of three main stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. In the planning stage, the school determines memorization targets, arranges activity schedules, and prepares competent tahfidz teachers. The implementation stage is carried out routinely through several methods, such as talaqqi, ziyadah, muraja’ah, and halaqah, to improve both the quality and quantity of students’ memorization. Program evaluation is conducted periodically through memorization deposits, tajwid assessment, and fluency evaluation. Supporting factors include a religious school environment, strong school management support, student motivation, and active involvement of tahfidz teachers. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors include limited time, differences in students’ memorization abilities, and inconsistency in muraja’ah activities. Overall, the tahfidz excellence program has made a positive contribution to improving students’ Qur’anic memorization at SMP Al Hikmah Sirampog.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan pendekatan deep learning dalam pembelajaran menulis karangan narasi pada siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Riding. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian 1 guru kelas IV dan 24 siswa kelas IV. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan deep learning memberikan dampak positif terhadap kemampuan menulis karangan narasi siswa. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan melalui peningkatan nilai rata-rata siswa dari 64,8 sebelum penerapan menjadi 82,0 setelah penerapan pendekatan deep learning. Selain itu, persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa meningkat dari 37,5% menjadi 87,5%. Pendekatan deep learning membantu siswa memahami struktur narasi secara lebih mendalam melalui tahapan stimulasi, eksplorasi, konstruksi pengetahuan, dan refleksi. Dengan demikian, pendekatan deep learning dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis karangan narasi siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The phenomenon of the crisis of meaning and spiritual emptiness in modern society reflects a gap between the advancement of modern psychology, which tends to be secular, and the profound spiritual needs of human beings. While modern psychology emphasizes empirical and behavioral aspects, Islamic Sufism through the concepts of tazkiyatun nafs (purification of the soul) and ma‘rifatullah (knowledge of God) offers a transcendental path toward genuine meaning in life. This study aims to analyze the concept of meaning in life according to Al-Ghazali and Viktor Frankl, and to synthesize both perspectives in order to develop an integrative psycho-spiritual model addressing the modern human meaning crisis. Using a qualitative library research method and a hermeneutic-comparative approach, this study integrates classical Sufi texts with modern logotherapy theory. The findings reveal that Al-Ghazali views the meaning of life as theocentric and rooted in divine revelation, whereas Frankl’s perspective is existential and based on human experience. The integration of both produces a psycho-spiritual model that harmonizes psychological and spiritual dimensions, offering relevance for the development of Islamic-based psychotherapy and the rediscovery of meaning in contemporary human life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis ḥurūf muqaṭṭaʿāt dalam Al-Qur'an menggunakan pendekatan semiotik triadik Charles Sanders Peirce, yang meliputi ikon, indeks, dan simbol. ḥurūf muqaṭṭaʿāt merupakan fenomena linguistik yang unik karena muncul sebagai huruf-huruf terisolasi tanpa makna leksikal yang pasti, sehingga menghasilkan beragam interpretasi dalam tradisi penafsiran Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain penelitian kepustakaan melalui pendekatan deskriptif-analitis. Data dikumpulkan dari ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an yang mengandung ḥurūf muqaṭṭaʿāt, literatur tafsir klasik dan modern, serta teori semiotik Charles Sanders Peirce. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ḥurūf muqaṭṭaʿāt tidak memiliki karakteristik yang kuat sebagai ikon karena tidak ada kemiripan antara tanda dan objeknya. Sebagai indeks, huruf-huruf ini hanya menunjukkan hubungan relasional terbatas yang tidak dapat diverifikasi secara empiris. Sementara itu, kategori simbolik menjadi pendekatan yang paling relevan karena makna ḥurūf muqaṭṭaʿāt dibangun melalui proses interpretatif dinamis dalam tradisi eksegetis Islam. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa makna ḥurūf muqaṭṭaʿāt tetap terbuka dan terus berkembang melalui semiotika yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study analyzes the construction of religious myths in contemporary Islamic discourse in Indonesia through Roland Barthes’ semiotic perspective. It focuses on the hijab symbol, the concept of sabr, the labeling of kafir, and exclusive salvation claims as forms of meaning naturalization in digital public spaces. The study employs a descriptive-critical qualitative approach using semiotic discourse analysis. Data were collected from digital religious texts and analyzed through sign identification, denotative and connotative analysis, and myth deconstruction. The findings reveal that religious symbols have undergone mythologization processes that make them appear as natural truths. The hijab is constructed as a singular symbol of piety, sabr as legitimation of resignation, kafir as a producer of identity boundaries, and exclusive salvation claims as reinforcement of group superiority. This study confirms that religious meaning is shaped by power relations and discursive reproduction. The findings contribute to interdisciplinary Islamic studies through integrating semiotics, Qur’anic interpretation, sociology of religion, symbolic anthropology, and discourse criticism.
