Abstract

Tuban is a district in East Java which is located on the coast, with its strategic location making Tuban one of the international trade centers so that many cultures influence people's daily lives. One of Tuban's unique cultural heritage is Gedog batik. Gedog Batik is unique, especially in terms of the fabric making process. By woven traditionally using non-machine looms (ATBM). The distinctive "dok dok dok" sound produced when this tool operates was the inspiration for the name "Gedog" on this batik.For all its value, this batik is still little known to the public, so efficient efforts are needed to promote it. One way is through using backpacks as promotional media, considering the popularity of backpacks, especially among men aged 19-25 years. The research was conducted using qualitative methods that focused on collecting and analyzing data from participants. The SCAMPER design method is used to develop innovative ideas in creating men's backpacks that implement the Gedog motif. The result of this research is a men's backpack whose every part is tailored to the target user, with the addition of a Gedog motif design which is expected to be an effective means of introducing Tuban culture to the intended target. Abstract

Cardboard waste, which is produced from industry and daily activities, can be processed into paper as the main material for Scandinavian-style decorative lamps, in addition to being processed into handicrafts. This time, the design produces Scandinavian decorative lamps using corrugated cardboard waste, aiming to reduce industrial cardboard waste. The inductive method is used to analyze data from field facts, while the SCAMPER method is applied to develop useful products. This decorative lamp is ideal to place in the living room as decoration and lighting. Key words: waste, cardboard, industry.

Abstract

Kampung Radjoet is a knitting industry in Bandung. Kampoeng Radjoet produces various types of knitted products ranging from sweaters, vests, cardigans, etc. However, the massive production in Radjoet Village produces production waste such as pieces of knitted fabric that can disturb the environment. Therefore, Kampung Radjoet wants to utilize the potential of fabric scraps waste from the remaining knitted production to produce new wearable products. Through an observational approach, this research aims to understand the phenomenon of leftover knitted fabric waste by conducting a field survey at Kampoeng Radjoet. In addition, it uses simple processing techniques and exploratory methods to find the potential of the waste. The final result is an exploration of the leftover knit fabric waste that can be used as recommendations for new product innovations for Kampoeng Radjoet from more valuable knit fabric waste. Abstract

Small and medium enterprises have a very important role in the economic cycle in the community. Especially in creating jobs and a source of income for the middle to lower economic community. Kampoeng Radjoet is a knitting industry in Bandung. Kampoeng Radjoet produces a wide range of products ranging from sweaters, cardigans, vests, etc. However, the large-scale production produced by Kampoeng Radjoet also has a negative impact on the industry itself. Namely with the emergence of various knitting wastes from fabrics to knitting yarns. Therefore, Kampoeng Radjoet wants to utilize this knitting waste to become a new wearable product from the existing waste. Through an observational approach, this research aims to understand the phenomenon of waste knitting fabric pieces from leftover production by conducting a field survey at Kampoeng Radjoet. In addition, with the MFC (Morphological Force Connection) method and polypropylene product waste materials, various new products can be developed that are worth selling for Kampoeng Radjoet while reducing the impact of knitting waste. Abstract

Abstract : This research is motivated by a direct review that occurred in the field during the trial activities at PT. Pindad, namely the inefficiency of the mannequin transfer process because the transfer still uses a time-consuming dismantling and reassembly process because it does not allow the use of a hydraulic jack to transport the machine, because the field trial field does not match the specifications of the machine jack which has limited specifications. Therefore, the researcher had the idea to create a special tool for the purpose of moving the vehicle trial mannequin that adopts a similar system or mechanism more efficiently. The purpose of this study is to design a vehicle trial mannequin transport tool that can support efficient trial needs with a compact size. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, through this descriptive analysis will help the author to summarize and interpret the data obtained in a systematic and objective manner. Abstract

Students as one of the roles in the academic community globally have poor sleep quality, which affects their academic performance and overall quality of life. Students themselves Students themselves have a tendency to be able to fall asleep more easily comfortably when they hug something, sleeping equipment products are designed by considering ergonomic shapes to avoid the onset of aches or pains during sleep and when waking up, as well as cool materials. This problem is the basis for designing a sleeping device to improve sleep quality for students with an ergonomic and anthropometric approach, designed using the User-Centered Design (UCD) method to make students the main users of the product as well as the main source of data for research and design. Abstract

Proses transportasi ayam broiler dari peternakan menuju rumah pemotonganyang berada di kota menggunakan kendaraan bak terbuka seperti pick-up maupun trukmemiliki risiko terhadap unggas, mulai dari stres, penurunan bobot, hingga mortalitasyang dapat dialami oleh unggas. Selain itu, bau yang dikeluarkan oleh kendaraanpengangkut turut membuat pengguna jalan lain dan masyarakat yang berada dilingkungan sekitar kendaraan merasa kurang nyaman. Terdapat penelitian terdahulu yangdilakukan oleh sekelompok peneliti asal IPB yang membahas tentang permasalahan inidengan terobosan berupa boks M-CLOVE pada kendaraan pengangkut, sayangnya masihterdapat kekurangan dalam penelitian tersebut. Untuk pengumpulan data padaperancangan ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yaitu wawancara dan observasi, denganmetode perancangan berupa UCD. Didapati bahwa risiko dalam proses transportasiterhadap unggas dan lingkungan sekitar memang sering terjadi, maka dari itu penulismenciptakan dan mengembangkan boks untuk kendaraan pengangkut unggas denganpenerapan M-CLOVE. Tentunya produk boks dalam perancangan ini memiliki beberapatambahan fitur untuk menunjang dan meminimalisir risiko terhadap unggas maupunlingkungan sekitar selama proses transportasi berlangsung. Abstract

UKM furnitur kayu sebagai studi kasus dalam penelitian ini menghasilkan berbagai bentuk material sisa produksi furnitur dari kayu olahan dan kayu solid. Seperti UKM furnitur yang berada di Bandung yakni Brotherwood Living, Ironwood, Curiuose OneCabinet, dan Konco Studio menghasilkan sisa produksi berbentuk potongan kayu, serbuk kayu, dan serutan kayu. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni melakukan perancangan desk organizer dengan menggunakan teknik upcycling yang digunakan untuk mengolah limbah kayu menjadi produk baru yang memiliki nilai guna. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi untuk mengungkap dan memahami mengenai peristiwa dan kondisi khas yang dialami oleh individu yang bersangkutan. Perancangan produk dilakukan dengan menggunakan design thinking yang berfokus pada pengguna. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data diantaranya studi literatur, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari perancangan ini adalah desk organizer dengan menggunakan material limbah serbuk dan serutan kayu solid dan kayu olahan dengan perekat plastik. Abstract

Ruang kerja steril yang nyaman dan terjamin keamanan, penggunaannya semakin meluas dalam berbagai industri, termasuk laboratorium biologi molekuler dan penelitian mikrobiologi. Teknologi ini standar dalam menjaga kebersihan ruangan kritis. Ergonomi dalam konteks penggunaan laminar air flow (LAF) melibatkan desain dan pengorganisasian ruang kerja dan peralatan agar sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan kenyamanan operator. Entkas sederhana yang memiliki fungsi kerja yang hampir mirip dengan LAF namun tingkat kontaminasinya besar. Tujuan penelitian merancang Enlaf untuk UMKM kultur jaringan dan pembibitan jamur yang lebih ergonomis dan memahami dan memenuhi beragam kebutuhan dan preferensi pelaku UMKM kultur jaringan dan pembibitan jamur. Metode penelitian mixed methods dapat diterapkan dalam perancangan Enlaf (Entkas Rasa LAF) dengan menggabungkan aspek Kualitatif dan Kuantitatif yakni : Identifikasi Kebutuhan Pengguna, Pengembangan Desain Prototipe, Evaluasi Desain Prototipe, Pengujian Material dan Performa, Nordic Body Map dan SCAMPER. .Pelaku usaha Kultur jaringan dan Pembibitan jamur objek pengambilan data dan validasi hasil desain inovasi yang sudah diciptakan sebanyak 7 UMKM. Skor tingkat risiko rendah 2,4 yang menunjukan belum ditemukan adanya tindakan perbaikan. Biay dibutuhkan dalam membuat enlaf inovasi produk dari LAF dan entkas , lebih murah dan efisien dari LAF yang sudah ada di pasaran Kata kunci : desain ruang kerja, enlaf, ergonomi, inovasi, kualitas kerja.
