Abstract

Muara Tami district in Jayapura has significant potential for vaname shrimp farming. However, environmental problems and pathogens are often the main obstacles that reduce the productivity of this culture. One of the innovative solutions being developed to overcome these problems is the application of nanoparticle innovation in aquaculture, especially silver nanoparticles (AgNPs). This study aims to assess the effectiveness of using silver nanoparticles obtained from microalgae Chlorella pyrenoidosa and Dunaliella salina as an alternative that can support the development of vaname shrimp farming. The research method used a qualitative approach, with data collected through direct observation, involving the manufacture of silver nanoparticles from microalgae C. pyrenoidosa and D. salina, which were then used as feed for vaname shrimp. After observation, the data were processed and supported by related literature. The results showed that the application of silver nanoparticles from microalgae was effective on the growth and survival rate of cultured vaname shrimp in Muara Tami District. Thus, these findings indicate that microalgae have great potential as natural agents that can help reduce toxicity in aquaculture environments, creating healthier and more sustainable shrimp farming conditions.

Abstract

This study explores the legal ambiguities and challenges in handling cryptocurrency evidence in criminal cases, particularly in Indonesia. Cryptocurrencies, with their decentralized and anonymous nature, are increasingly being used in illegal activities such as money laundering, fraud, and drug trafficking. The absence of clear regulations on the legal status and treatment of cryptocurrencies as evidence creates significant hurdles for law enforcement, including difficulties in seizure, identification of owners, and admissibility in court. By employing a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis, the study analyzed legal frameworks, conducted interviews with legal experts, and reviewed cases involving cryptocurrencies. Findings highlight the need for clear regulations defining the legal status of cryptocurrencies, structured training programs for law enforcement on blockchain technology, and international cooperation to address cross-border challenges. The study offers actionable recommendations, including legal reform, capacity building, and enhanced international collaboration, aiming to improve governance and ensure justice in cases involving cryptocurrency evidence.

Abstract

This research examines the legal policy direction of pretrial arrangements in Indonesia's criminal procedure law, focusing on Constitutional Court Decisions Number 21/PUU-XII/2014, 102/PUU-XIII/2015, and 66/PUU-XVI/2018. These decisions have significantly shaped the evolution of pretrial provisions, ensuring alignment with constitutional principles of justice, legal certainty, human rights protection, and simple, fast, low-cost justice. Through normative legal research employing statutory, conceptual, and case-based approaches, the study analyzes how the Constitutional Court's rulings address ambiguities in existing norms, enhance judicial oversight, and strengthen the protection of suspects' rights. Findings indicate that the Constitutional Court’s decisions aim to refine pretrial norms by expanding judicial authority, clarifying procedural ambiguities, and balancing human rights protection with efficient judicial processes. The research underscores the role of legal politics in harmonizing criminal procedural law with evolving societal and legal demands, offering insights for further reforms to uphold justice and human dignity. Future research could explore comparative analyses, implementation challenges, and the integration of digital technologies to enhance the efficiency and equity of pretrial systems.

Abstract

Lion Air is one of the leading airlines in Indonesia's low-cost carrier (LCC) market. However, the airline faces several public concerns related to service quality and customer experience. This study aims to explore the reasons behind customer retention and the dynamics of customer satisfaction in the face of operational shortcomings. The study employs a qualitative approach to explore and understand customer experiences, perceptions, and preferences in-depth. Data were collected through primary and secondary sources, and interviews were conducted with participants. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively through stages of collection, presentation, reduction, and conclusion. The results show that customer satisfaction and loyalty to Lion Air flight services are influenced by several factors, including product quality, price, and service quality. Among these factors, affordable ticket prices are the main factors that encourage customers to make repeat purchases, stay loyal customers, and provide positive recommendations to others. The findings of this study can guide Lion Air's management in formulating effective strategies to improve service quality, strengthen customer loyalty, and maintain its position as a leading airline in Indonesia. Furthermore, it is hoped that further research can produce more comprehensive and useful findings for Lion Air management in improving performance and competitiveness in the aviation industry.

Abstract

This study aims to know and analyze the influence of work motivation and work environment on employee performance at PT X. Using a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression, this research analyzes data obtained from questionnaires distributed to all permanent employees. The results indicate that both work motivation and work environment significantly and positively affect employee performance. High work motivation encourages employees to achieve the established performance targets, while a conducive work environment provides a sense of security, comfort, and challenges for employees to continue developing. The interaction between the two variables also shows significant results, where a good work environment can enhance work motivation, and vice versa. These findings indicate the importance of the company in managing both factors in a balanced manner. Recommendations for PT X include focusing on programs that can enhance work motivation, such as a fair reward system, career development, and participation in decision-making. Additionally, it is essential to create a conducive work environment through facility improvements, effective communication, and a positive work culture. Thus, this research contributes significantly to the company’s understanding of the factors influencing employee performance. By implementing the provided recommendations, it is hoped that PT X can achieve more optimal and sustainable performance.

Abstract

This study examines the Merdeka Curriculum, a recent educational reform in Indonesia designed to empower teachers and students with greater flexibility in learning. Rooted in the philosophy of "Merdeka" (freedom), the curriculum allows teachers to tailor instructional methods to students' individual needs, optimizing content delivery and enhancing competencies. Central to the curriculum is character development, inspired by Indonesia's national ideology, Pancasila, through the Pancasila Student Profile. This approach fosters integrity, empathy, and social responsibility—values crucial for local and global success, which align with Global Citizenship Education (GCE) that equips students to navigate an interconnected world meaningfully. Employing a qualitative research approach, this study endeavors to capture the perspectives of policymakers and educators responsible for implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. Utilizing semi-structured interviews, participants are encouraged to openly share their insights, challenges, and recommendations. The study concludes that the Merdeka Curriculum has been integrated into approximately 70% of Indonesian schools in three years. Successful strategies include resource allocation, teacher training, and enhanced visual support, which proved especially impactful during the COVID-19 pandemic. The findings highlight the transformative effects of character-based and project-based learning approaches, which increased student enthusiasm and necessitated cultural and mindset shifts. Key recommendations emphasize maintaining curriculum consistency, prioritizing character education, and maximizing the Merdeka Mengajar Platform to support educators. Additionally, fostering collaboration among stakeholders and expanding teacher involvement remain critical to successful implementation. This dissertation contributes to educational reform discussions, offering insights for enhancing curriculum design and improving Indonesia's education system to prepare students for 21st-century challenges.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze consumption behavior and purchasing power of society in the digital era, focusing on the use of e-commerce platforms and digital payment methods. The study employs a purposive sampling method to select 150 respondents aged 18 and older, who have internet access and have transacted through digital platforms. Data collection involved online questionnaires and structured interviews. Correlation and regression analyses were conducted to evaluate relationships between digital transaction frequency and the purchasing power level. The results demonstrate a significant positive relationship between the frequency of digital transactions and the buying power level with a correlation coefficient of 0.65 (p  0.01). The findings reflect the changes in consumption behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic, where society increasingly relies on technology to meet their daily needs. This research is expected to serve as a reference for local governments in formulating more effective fiscal policies, particularly in managing Regional Original Income (PAD) to promote sustainable economic development and enhance the quality of life in Bandungan District.
