Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to knowing the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach on learning outcomes to determine the area of building a trapezoid and the kite of class V students of SDN 38 Lubuk Buaya in the 2018/2019 academic year. This type of research is quasi-experimental. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of Gugus 2 Elementary School in Koto Tangah District consisting of 250 students. The sampling technique uses probability sampling and cluster random sampling technique by determining which area will be used as a sample with random to determine the experimental and control classes so that the VA class is obtained as the control group and the VB class is the experimental group. Data collection techniques in this study use tests, test hypotheses in this study using the t-test formula which is preceded by an analysis prerequisite test using normality test and homogeneity test. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence on the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach to learning outcomes to determine the area of trapezoid and kite of class V students of SDN 38 Lubuk Buaya. This is evidenced by the results of the t-test with a significant level of 5% (0.05) obtained by tcount (4.10)> t table (1.67). Learning outcomes obtained by the experimental group were higher than the control group, indicated by the posttest mean obtained by the experimental group 87.25 and the posttest mean obtained by the control group by 75.3. Keywords: Contextual Teaching and Learning approach, determining the area of trapezoid and kite.

Abstract

Research on integrated thematic learning in class IV is motivated by the still low student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the planning, implementation, and integrated thematic learning outcomes using Cooperative Learning models of Think Pair Share (TPS) type in grade IV SD. This type of research is a classroom action research (CAR) that uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of this study were teachers and fourth grade elementary school students with a total of 32 people. The study was conducted in two cycles. The results showed an increase in: a) The average RPP of the first cycle was 80.55% (good) and the second cycle was 94.44% (very good) b) The average implementation of the aspects of the first cycle was 77.27% (good) and second cycle 92.85% (very good), b) The average implementation of the aspects of the first cycle students 74.99% (good), and the second cycle 92.85% (very good), c) Average student learning outcomes cycle I 71.12 and cycle II 82.05. Thus the Cooperative Learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) type can improve learning outcomes Thematic Integrated students of class IV SDN 17 Pakan Kurai BukittinggiKeywords: Think Pair Share (TPS), Learning Outcomes, Integrated Thematic

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the effect of the problem based learning (PBL) model on the learning result PKn in fifth grade of SDN 15 Ampang Gadang Kabupaten Agam in first semester in 2018/2019. The type of this research is quasi experimental research. The sample of this research is fifth grade students of SDN 15 Ampang Gadang. Based on the results of the analysis by using t-test, researcher find that the result of t-count is 2,51 and t-table at significant level α =0.05 is 2.02, so t-count>t-table. This shows there is a significant effect in applying problem based learning (PBL) model on the learning result PKn in fifth grade of SDn 15 Ampang Gadang Kecamatan Ampek Angkek Kabupaten Agam.

Abstract

The research on integrated theatrical learning in class IV is a dilator behind the still low learning outcomes of students in integrated thematic learning. The purpose of this study was to describe planning, implementation, and integrated thematic learning outcomes using models Make a Match in class IV SD Negeri 17 Batu Gadang Sungaipua District. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using a qualitative and quantitative approach. The research subjects were class IV students with 24 people, 14 men and 10 women. The study was conducted in two cycles. The results of the first cycle of research obtained an average of 84.08% (Good) and increased in the second cycle to 93.18% (Very Good). Implementation in the aspect of teacher activity cycle I obtained an average of 80.35% (Good) and increased in the second cycle to 96.42% (Very Good). The implementation of the activity aspects of students in the first cycle obtained an average of 80.35% (Good) and increased in the second cycle to 96.42% (Very Good). The learning outcomes of students in the first cycle obtained an average of 76.62 (enough) and increased in the second cycle to 91.69 (good). Thus the Make a Match type cooperative model can improve the integrated thematic learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 17 Batu Gadang Sungaipua District.

Abstract

Kata Kunci : Hasil Belajar IPA, Model Problem Based Learning (PBL), Pembelajaran Konvensional
