Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the Contextual Teaching andLearning (CTL) approach to learning outcomes in Natural Sciences (IPA) in class V of SDN 13 Ciangkariang. This type of research is a quasi-experimentaldesign with a non-equivalent control group design. The population is the fifth grade students of SDN 13 Cingkariang totaling 46 students with class A samples totaling 23 students as the experimental class and class B totaling23 students as the control class. The results of the study obtained an averagepretest value of 46.95, the posttest value of 73.21 for the experimental class and for the control class the pretest value was 56.69 and the posttest value was 64. Based on the t-test calculation (t-test) obtained tcount (2.9323)> t table (1.68023) at a significant level of 0.05. So it can beconcluded that the use of the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) approach affects the learning outcomes of Natural Sciences (IPA) in thefifth grade of SDN 13 Cingkariang. Keywords: CTL Approach, Learning Outcomes, Science

Abstract

Problem in primary background is in science learning in fourth grade teachers were more likely to use the lecture method and not associate learning with student experience, TOD aims to describe the planning and implementation of science learning in class IV. In this case a constructivist approach of learning is oneapproach that builds students knowledge based on prior knowledgealready possessedstudents through real experience. Using aconstructivist approach to the first cycle of the first meeting of learning outcomes on average 73 and 76 at the second meeting. In the second cycle a very good increase to 82 in the first meeting and 86 in the second meeting. Thus it can be said that a constructivist approach to improve student learning outcomes state primary schools. Kata Kunci : hasil belajar; IPA; pendekatan konstruktivisme

Abstract

This Study aims to determine the effect of Course Review Horay (CRH) modeling method on integrated thematic learning process. This research is a classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. In the implementation, this research consists of two  cycles, namely cycle I two meetings and cycle II one meeting. Includes four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were 30 studen in class V. The result of cycle research on RPP meeting one earn a percentage value of 69,44% (C) increasing 83,33% (B) in meeting two and increasing 97,22% (AB) in cycle two. At theacher of the cycle realese one earn a percentage value of 73,68% (B) increasing 81,57% (B) at meeting two and increasing 95,05% (AB) it cycle two. Whereas at the activities of student cycle one a percentage of 72,36% (B) increase 80,26 (B) at meeting two increase 94,73 (AB) in cycle two. Ths the Cooperative Learning model type Course Review  Horay has been able to improve student learning procces in Integrated Thematic learning in class V SDN 06 Padang Besi Kota Padang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of student learning outcomes on Citizenship Education (PKn) subjects using the Think Pair Share (TPS) model. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study with a non equivalent control group design. The sample in the study was Class VA and VB of SDN 18 Pudung. Data collection techniques use tests and observation sheets. Hypothesis testing in this study using the t-test formula. Based on the calculation of the t test (t-test) on the posttest results, the results of tcount = 6.34 and ttable = 1.66 at the significant level α = 0.05 of 1.66, then tcount> ttable. This means there is a significant effect on student learning outcomes using the TPS model. Keywords: Think Pair Share (TPS), PKn, learning outcomes Abstract
