Abstract

The research is aimed to describe the improvement of the student’s learning outcomes in learning the Integreted Thematic Subject by using the Problenm-Based Learning Model (PBL) at 5th grade of using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subject of the research were the the teacher and 20 student of the school (11 male students, and 9 female student). This research wass conducted in two cycles where each cycle consists of planning, acting, observing dan reflecting. The results of the research is the improvement of student’ learning outcome in learning the Integrated Thematic Subject by using the problem-based-learning outcome is learning the Integrated Thematic Subject by using the Problem-Based-Learning Model at 5th grade of SDN 04 Simalanggang, Payakumbuh.   KEYWORDS : Learning Outcome, Integrated Thematic Learning, Problem- Based Learning Model

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research was to compare to know the difference of students' cognitive ability using model cooperative Jigsaw type with model cooperative STAD type in the fourth grade of primary school. The design form of this research is quasi experimental. The technique sampling is total sampling and determining to class samplel with random.The study sample used 30 students for the class using the model cooperative Jigsaw type and 28 students for the class using the model cooperative STAD type. The data analysis of both groups uses t test, the result of tct 2,462 and ttable at significant level α = 0,05 2,003, ttest > ttable. This shows significant differences in students' cognitive abilities by using model cooperative Jigsaw type with model cooperative STAD type in Grade IV of primary school.Keywords: Jigsaw and STAD, cognitive abilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve thematic integrated learning process using Discovery Learning model at grade 4 of SD Kartika 1-11 Padang City. This research was classroom action research, consisted of 2 cycles each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation and reflection.  Subjects of this research were teachers and 21 grade 4 students in SD kartika 1-11 padang City. Data of this research were obtained from the assessment of lesson plans, and learning processes. Techniques of data collection were document analysis, and observation. Instruments of this research were lesson plan assessment sheet and observation sheet. The results of the study showed that there were an increase in: a) the assessment of lesson plan in cycle I was 84,37% (good) and went up to 93.75% (very good) in cycle II; b) the result of observation of teacher aspect in cycle I was 81.25% (good) and increased to  90,.62% (very good) in cycle II; c) the result of observation of student aspect in cycle I was 81.25% (good) and increased to  90.62% (very good). It can be concluded that the Discovery Learning model can improve thematic integrated learning process in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research early from fact in elementary school that study is there isn’t discus in the class with specialist, so there is noresponsibility of allmembers ofthe groupto thematerial being studiedand the resultinglow learning outcomes. This research isan act of class study using qualitative and quantitative approaches. Cooperative learning model Jigsaw requiresthe involvementand responsibility and interdependence of allmembers ofthe group. Results showed improved learning outcomes spacious trapezoid and kite first cycle with an average value of49.37cognitive, affective value average 72.26, and the average value of psychomotor 74. Then in the second cycle ofthe averag evalue of 81 cognitive, affective value ​​average 82.5, and the average value of psychomotor 82.91. Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in integrated thematic learning outcomes of students in class V of Primary Schools using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This type of research is classroom action research, which was conducted in two cycles. The approach taken in this study is a qualitative approach and quantitative approach. The observations of the Learning Implementation Plan in the first cycle obtained an average of 87.49% good qualifications (B), and experienced an increase in the second cycle so as to obtain an average of 96.42% with very good qualifications (AB). In the implementation of the first cycle learning aspects aspects of teachers and students each gained an average of 78% with good qualifications (C), and in the second cycle increased to 96% very good qualifications (AB). In the aspect of knowledge and skills of students in cycle I obtained an average of 74.36 with a good predicate (B), and also an increase in cycle II so as to obtain an average of 88.33 with a very good predicate (A). This shows an increase in student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in class V SDN 01 Bandar Buat City of Padang.

Abstract

This research backed by sum of integers learning in elementary school still use teacher center, consequently the result of the study is still low. Purpose of the research is to describe improving the student outcomes in sum of integers learing by used RME strategy at fifth grade in SD N 26 Teluk Bayur Padang. Kind of this research is an action research with quantitative and qualitative approach. The result of this research showed that, the student outcomes in cycle I was 74 and this increased to 80 in cycle II. From the result it can be concluded that strategy RME can increase the students outcomes in sum of integers learing at fifth grade SD N 26 Teluk Bayur Padang.   Kata Kunci : hasil belajar penjumlahan bilangan bulat; realistic mathematics education: RME

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the effect  of the Polya model on student learning outcomes of fractional story problems  at 5th grade of Elementary School in III group  Ampek Angkek Subdistrict Agam District in the 2018/2019 school year. This research is a quantitative research with a type of quasi-experiment, design of Non-equivalent control group design. The population in this research is 5th grade in Elementary School III group in Ampek Angkek Subdistrict. The sample of this research is the 5th grade students of SDN 07 Sitapung consisting of two classes that is VA class is 20 students and VB class is 20 Students. Sampling was done with purpose sampling technique. The data announcement instrument used is a description test.  Based on the results of the research obtained tcount  ttable where tcount = 7.84  ttable = 1.72 means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This shows that the use of the Polya model has an effect on students learning outcomes of fractional  story of the of 5th grade  of the Elementary School III group in Ampek Angkek Subdistrict.Keyword : Polya model, learning outcomes, fractions

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of research is to describe the improvement of student’s social science learning outcome by using the group investigation of cooperative tipe at the fourth grade of SDN 11 Sungai Geringging. The design of the research was class action research by using both qualitative aprroch. The subjects of the research were the teacher and sixteen fourth grade student. The data analisis shows that students’ learningoutcome  in cycle I was 66.7. the score increased in cycle II into 80. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the learning outcome from the student in Smallest multiples and biggest allience factor story question which  using Mathematic Realistic Education at Fivth grade student  from elemantary school of 25 Air Dingin Solok District. The subject at this research is the student from elementary school of 25 Air Dingin Solok District. The data from this research obtained from the result of observation on the action from the student. The results of each cycle are : (a) the teacher aspects increased from 78,57% to 96,43%, and the student aspect from 75% to 96,43%. (b) The learning score increased from 77,27 to 88,32. The Realistic Mathematic Education approach can improve student learning outcomes in social science knowledge fivth grade student from  elementary school of 25 Air Dingin Solok District.Key words : Learning Score Smallest multiples and biggest allience factor ; Realistic Mathematic Education approach

Abstract

This research is motivated by integrated thematic learning that has not been well implemented, is still in the process of improving. This causes the integrated thematic learning process to be carried out to the maximum. The purpose of this study, to improve the integrated thematic learning process using the Discovery Learning model. This type of research is classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. This research was conducted in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The results of the study showed an increase in: (1) the learning plan, namely cycle I obtained a percentage of 78,12% (enough), cycle II obtained a percentage of 93.75% (Very Good). (2) the implementation of learning cycle I obtained a percentage of 84,37% (Good), cycle II obtained a percentage of 96,87% (Very Good). It can be concluded that the Discovery Learning model can improve the integrated thematic learning process in elementary schools.
