Abstract

Renewal of teaching materials can be done by utilizing Lectora Inspire based technology. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Lectora Inspire based data presentation teaching materials with the CTL approach in grade IV elemantary school. This research is a quantitative study with the type of experimental research using the pre-experimental method. This research was conducted at SDN 01 Bandar Buat. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, and class IV B was chosen as the experimental class. The results of hypothesis testing obtained using the t-test with a real level of a = 0.05, obtained tcount = 16,83 > t table (0.05) (29) = 2.042, then reject H0 and accept H1. So there are differences in learning outcomes before and after using Lectora Inspire based data presentation teaching materials with the CTL approach in class IV B SDN 01 Bandar Buat. Thus it can be concluded that the teaching material for presenting Lectora Inspire-based data with the CTL approach is effectively used.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of student learning outcomes on learning mathematics for data presentation material in class V of Elementary School for the 2019/2020 academic year. The population in this study were all elementary schools in the Cluster II of Lubuk Kilangan District, which consisted of 7 schools (3 schools were groups). The samples of this research were class V SDN 08 Padang Besi, totaling 28 people as the experimental class, and class V SDN 06 Padang Besi, totaling 30 people as the control class. The instrument used in this study was an objective test in the form of multiple choices. The data analysis technique used was the t-test. The results showed that the average score for the experimental class that applied learning with the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI) approach was 86.7 higher than the average value for the control class that applied conventional learning was 73.2. This proves that there is a significant influence on student learning outcomes in mathematics learning in elementary schools using the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education approach.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was toknowing difference between the use of demonstration methods with lecture methods on student learning outcomes on the material of human senses in class IV SD Negeri 13 Cingkariang. This research is a quantitative research with experimental research type, and quasy experimental research design. Sampling data was coleccetd by Total Sampling technique. The sample of this study amounted to 42 people with a population 42 people. The instrument that used to ccollecting data  is objective test with multiple choice item. The results is tcount> ttabel, 3.4927> 2.021 withα = 0.05 which means H0is rejected. The average posttest result in the experiment class is 83.80 and the control class is 75.23. So Ha accepted that there is a significant difference that the use of demonstration method is better than the lecture method on the students' science learning outcomes on the material of the human in class IV SD Negeri 13 Cingkariang. Keywords: Demonstration Method, Learning Outcomes, Human Senses

Abstract

The research is caused by low outcomes of critical thinking skills of students. The purpose of this research was to describe the improvement of critical thinking skills using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the integrated thematic class IV SDN 03 Feed Labuah Bukittinggi City. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research subjects were the fourth grade students of SDN 03 Feed Labuah, Bukittinggi City, amounting to 25 people. The study was conducted in two cycles. The results showed an increase in the average observation results of RPP cycle I was 73.60% (C) increased in the second cycle to 94.44% (AB), this is also seen in the average results of the implementation of learning aspects of the teacher cycle I was 74 , 99% (C) increases in cycle II to 95% (AB). On the aspects of students, the average cycle I was 71.66% (C) increased in the second cycle to 93.33% (AB). While the average assessment of students' critical thinking skills in the first cycle was 61.68% (C) and increased in the second cycle, 83.45 (A-). Thus the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can improve critical thinking skills in the integrated thematic class IV students of SDN 03 Feed Labuah, Bukittinggi City.

Abstract

This study originated from the fact that the school students in the learning process less active and interested in the subject, thus causing low student learning outcomes. This is due to lack of teachers in the learning process using the steps appropriate approach in the learning process, the teacher is more dominant and less conventional methods using a variety of methods, less teacher worksheets given in accordance with the material being taught. This can be overcome by using experiment methods. The purpose of this study was to describe an increase in student learning outcomes in learning science by using the experiment method in class IV Elementary School 38 Kuranji Padang. This study used qualitative and quantitative approaches to classroom action research. The subjects were elementary school fourth grade students 38 Kuranji Padang, the class teacher as an observer, and researcher as teacher practitioners. In practice, the study was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of research on learning plan cycle I is 66% and in the second cycle increased by an average of 84%. Implementation of the activities teachers learning cycle I is 67.5% and in the second cycle increased is 87.5%. In the student activity cycle I get an average of 62.5% and an increase in cycle II is 85%. Furthermore, student learning outcomes in all three aspects of the cycle I is 65.40 with a qualifying (C) and the second cycle of student learning outcomes in all three aspects of increasing is 75.10 with a qualifying (B). Experiment method can improve learning outcomes of students in the learning of  IPA in elementary school.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find learning outcomes in accordance with the theory. This type of research is literature study research. The results showed that there were 5 articles with moderate categorization of the final score of cycle II, and there were 10 articles with high categorization of the final score of cycle II. From 10 articles with high final cycle II grade categorization, it was found that the steps of the discovery learning model in the implementation of learning were: 1) Stimulation: The teacher gave questions, suggested reading books, looked at pictures or told stories according to the material to be studied. 2) Problem Statement: The teacher directs students to identify problems that are relevant to the subject matter, formulate problems to formulate hypotheses. 3) Data Collection: The teacher directs students to collect information by reading books, through direct experiments and asking and observing. 4) Data Processing: The teacher directs students to process data through discussion. 5) Verification: The teacher directs students to practice directly, ask questions and discuss. 6) Generalization: The teacher directs students to make conclusions.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine how much influence the use of cooperative learning model numbered head together (NHT) on student learning outcomes in PKn learning. This research is a type of quantitative research with experimental research methods, and a quasy experimental design research design. The population in this study amounted to 84 people with a sample size of 32 people, sampling data was carried out by purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were objective tests with multiple choice forms. The results showed that t count> t table is 2.146> 2.04 with α = 0.05 which means Ha is accepted. The average posttest results in the experimental class 81,31 and the control class 75.81. So that Ha is accepted, namely the influence of the use of cooperative learning model numbered head together (NHT) on student learning outcomes in PKn learning. Keywords: Cooperative Model NHT Type, Learning Outcomes, PKn
