Abstract

This paper discusses the evolution of Islamic education, emphasizing the transformative role it plays in shaping the individual’s behavior, social interactions, and environmental context. The primary objective is to explore the contributions of influential Islamic thinkers, including Hasan Al-Banna, Muhammad Abduh, Mohammad Iqbal, and Naquib Al-Attas, to the development of Islamic educational paradigms. A descriptive and analytical approach is employed to examine their thoughts on the integration of Islamic principles with modern education. The findings reveal that these scholars advocated for education as a tool for moral and intellectual development, with a focus on fostering a balanced individual capable of contributing to society. Al-Banna emphasized character building, Abduh promoted critical thinking and the integration of religious and secular knowledge, Iqbal emphasized self-realization and independence, while Al-Attas highlighted the moral and spiritual dimensions of education. In conclusion, the study highlights that Islamic education, as envisioned by these thinkers, aims to produce individuals who are intellectually, morally, and spiritually equipped to face modern challenges while adhering to Islamic values.

Abstract

Abstract: The form of muamalah business is very varied as well as affiliate programs. Shopee affiliate is a program that aims to increase the promotion of a number of stores in the Shopee marketplace. By promoting a number of links or product links from stores on Shopee on a number of applications and social media. However, in practice, it is widely found that the selling price of products can change. The unilateral price change resulted in shopee affiliates not knowing for sure the commission they would get. If the affiliate commission is equated with wages in Ijarah, then it makes the commission punished invalid because the wage conditions in ijarah must be clear and known in advance by both parties. The Ju'alah contract is a non-binding contract, so it can be canceled. Meanwhile, the scholars of Shafi'iyah and Hanabilah are of the opinion that it is permissible for ja'il to increase or decrease wages, because Ju'alah is a non-binding contract, so it is permissible to increase or decrease wages. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to examine the values of character education contained in the book "Ayyuhal Walad" by Imam Al-Ghazali, as well as its relevance to the film "Negeri 5 Menara" directed by Affandi Abdul Rahman. The book "Ayyuhal Walad" is a work that emphasizes the importance of morals, ethics, and ethics in education. Values such as honesty, discipline, responsibility, and love of knowledge are the main focuses that can shape an individual's character. On the other hand, the film "Negeri 5 Menara" depicts the journey of a group of young people who are trying to pursue their dreams in the midst of life's challenges, reflecting the same spirit and values. Through comparative analysis, this study found that the values of character education in "Ayyuhal Walad" are in line with the theme raised in "The Land of 5 Towers". This research divides character education in the book "Ayyuhal Walad" into four parts, namely: (1) character education in becoming the best servant, (2) character education in pursuing knowledge, (3) character education in worship, and (4) character education in maintaining behavior. The four classifications of character education above are found to be relevant in the film Negeri 5 Menara in four different scenes. Keywords: Ayyuhal Walad; Negeri 5 Menara; Character education.

Abstract

Radikalisme menjadi salah satu tantangan serius yang dihadapi oleh generasi muda, terutama di era globalisasi dan kemajuan teknologi informasi. Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk pemahaman keagamaan yang moderat, toleran, dan berorientasi pada perdamaian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran PAI dalam mencegah penyebaran paham radikal di kalangan remaja, dengan fokus pada metode pembelajaran, kurikulum, dan pendekatan yang digunakan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur dan analisis data sekunder dari berbagai sumber terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PAI yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai moderasi, dialog antaragama, dan pemahaman kontekstual terhadap teks keagamaan dapat menjadi benteng pertahanan terhadap radikalisme. Selain itu, peran guru sebagai teladan dan fasilitator pembelajaran juga menjadi kunci penting dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai Islam yang rahmatan lil ‘alamin. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa PAI tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai transfer pengetahuan keagamaan, tetapi juga sebagai instrumen strategis dalam membentuk karakter remaja yang inklusif dan anti-radikalisme. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya penguatan kurikulum PAI yang berorientasi pada moderasi beragama serta peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam menghadapi tantangan global. Kata Kunci : Pendidikan Agama Islam, Radikalisme, Remaja, Moderasi Beragama, Pencegahan Radikalisme.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the meaning of symbols contained in the cultural tradition of Merti Bumi Serasi in Semarang Regency which is oriented towards religious moderation, and efforts to mainstream religious moderation. The research approach is descriptive qualitative and phenomenological, while the data analysis method is descriptive, verstehen and interpretation. The theory of analysis to examine the meaning of symbols is the theory of symbol meaning from Roland Barthes, while for the theory of religious moderation used is religious moderation which includes Al Adalah, Tawazun, Tasamuh.. The findings of the research show that starting from the process to the uborambe used, everything has a meaning, namely pitulungan (help) and kawelasan (compassion) harmony, kempel (unity), protection, and gratitude, for the prosperity and blessings given by God Almighty. The values of religious moderation are the value of justice (Al Adalah) in the form of fairness in all aspects as individual creatures of God and social creatures, the value of balance (Tawazun) in the form of maintaining the balance of nature and the value of tolerance (Tasamuh) by involving all elements of religious leaders in the implementation procession. Steps and strategies taken so that the mainstreaming of religious moderation can be realized is the model of cultural evolution and acculturation in the context of nguri-nguri culture. Abstract

This study discusses about Majlis dzikir and Sholawat as a basis for the development of Islamic education in the community, with a focus on IPNU and IPPNU youth in Bambang Turi Village, Lamongan. The approach used is qualitative research through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that Majlis dzikir and Sholawat not only function as a forum for ritual worship, but also as a means of character and spiritual education for adolescents. The participation of teenagers in this activity has a positive impact on their understanding of Islamic teachings, strengthens moral values, and increases awareness of the importance of togetherness in social life. In addition, this council is also a space for moral development and improvement of social skills through interaction with religious leaders and fellow community members. The role of Majlis dzikir and Sholawat in the development of Islamic education is further strengthened by the guidance of scholars and educators who convey Islamic values systematically and applicatively. Thus, this council contributes to shaping the religious character of adolescents and strengthening their Islamic identity in the midst of the challenges of globalization.
