Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of ideal water tourism as an effort to create a blue economy for the community. This research uses a qualitative approach with the method of literature study and content analysis. The data was collected through searching scientific literature, journals, books, research reports, and other related sources of information such as community surveys in the city of Bengkalis. The data is then analyzed systematically to identify the ideal water tourism concept that supports the blue economy for the community at Wonosari Village, Bengkalis. The results of the study show that the concept of ideal water tourism in the blue economy context involves several important aspects. First, sustainable environmental management, including reducing waste, conserving water resources, and protecting aquatic ecosystems, is a key prerequisite. Second, the active participation of local communities in the development and management of water tourism is an important key to ensuring a positive impact on the local economy and people's welfare. In addition, the concept of ideal water tourism that supports the blue economy also includes the integration of social and cultural principles. Empowerment of local communities, community-based sustainable economic development, and preservation of maritime cultural heritage are important components in achieving blue economy goals through water tourism. The findings of this research can be used by governments, decision makers and related stakeholders in planning and developing sustainable water tourism destinations and contributing to sustainable economic growth. Abstract

Indonesia is one of the world's palm oil producers whose selling value has increased in the last decade, palm oil production is a sector that is relied on and provides very wide employment opportunities. To maintain the quality of palm oil, procedures and operations are needed in managing oil palm. There are several obstacles that often occur, including the lack of supervision of the transportation process, the low absorption of technology use, and the high sales of palm fruit bunches. The research objective was carried out as an effort to increase the productivity of the transportation fleet, namely by implementing the Global Positioning System. This is done to improve timeliness, maintain driver work discipline, and know the vehicle's position in real time using GPS Tracking. This study uses research methods ranging from analysis to testing and uses Vue Js as a framework for creating interfaces on websites. The components of the tools used are GPS Neo M8N, NodeMCU ESP32, and GSM SIM800L. Running the tool uses the Neo M8N GPS which gets an internet network from GSM SIM800L to send the coordinates of the palm oil trucks through the website. The results of this study are in the form of a website displaying the location of trucks, this study received positive responses from users who stated that this system can improve security, manage transport time, and can monitor trucks in real time.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the mechanism for collecting state receivables before and after the implementation of the crash program mechanism and to find out what are the obstacles in collecting state receivables at the Pekanbaru KPKNL. This research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was carried out by inter-views and documentation. The results of this study are, based on the procedures carried out by the Pekanbaru KPKNL before the implementation of the crash pro-gram mechanism was appropriate based on PMK No.240/PMK.06/2016. Whereas after the implementation of the crash program mechanism was in accordance with PMK Number 11/PMK.06/2022 while obstacles in collecting state receivables at the Pekanbaru KPKNL were caused by incomplete data from the debt guarantor, the debt guarantor was unable to pay off the debt, the debt guarantor did not have collateral and the business of the debt guarantor is not going well.

Abstract

Efforts to improve employee performance include paying attention to employee job stress levels. This study took the object of research at the Department of Bina Marga, Cipta Karya and Tata Ruang of West Sumatra. The focus of this research is on the field of Bina Marga, which is the field of technical implementation of planning, construction and maintenance of roads and bridges. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work stress on employee performance at the Department of Bina Marga, Cipta Karya and Tata Ruang of West Sumatra. This study used a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires. Respondents examined in this study totaled 51 respondents who were employees of the Bina Marga sector who were obtained using census techniques. Then an analysis of the data obtained using simple linear regression analysis was carried out. The results of this study indicate that the level of work stress is at 55.5% with a fairly good category and employee performance is at 76.3% with a good category. Based on the results of the analysis, work stress has a negative and significant effect on employee performance. Work stress affects employee performance by 25.4%.   Keywords: Job Stress, Employee Performance

Abstract

The existence of MSMEs, especially in the City of Jambi, has not been free from obstacles, one of which is related to bookkeeping or preparing financial reports. The SME Accounting Application is present as one of the technologies that is expected to be able to overcome the problems faced by MSMEs. With this application, recording of financial data can also be done online via the web or even via a smartphone, because many Android mobile-based financial recording applications have been launched to make it easier for users, especially MSMEs. This study aims to determine whether digital literacy, social influence, perceived ease of use, and technology anxiety have a partial influence on the interest of MSMEs to use the SME Accounting application. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with data collection techniques through questionnaires. The results of the study show that digital literacy, social influence, and perceived ease of use are determinant factors that influence interest in using SME accounting applications. Meanwhile, technology anxiety has no effect on interest in using SME accounting applications

Abstract

Server security on a computer network is very important, maintaining computer network security in order to maintain information, data and maintain infrastructure so that it can work and function properly and provide access rights to registered users, this study aims to build an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) on networks and servers using Raspberry Pi 4 with SNORT which is useful for monitoring Server activities when an attempted attack occurs by sending notifications to BOT Telegram via the administrator's cellphone in realtime, this system is tested with three attack scenarios namely, PING Attack, Port Scanning, and DOS / DDoS Attack. From the results of testing attacks, Snort can detect and provide alerts that will be stored in the Snort Log and forwarded to the Telegram BOT notification in real time.   Keywords: Raspberry pi, Server, IDS, Snort, Bot Telegram

Abstract

Currently, motor lubricants that are widely consumed are lubricants produced from the processing petroleum. The avaibility of petroleum as raw material for lubricants was decreasing. Therefore we need an alternative material can be further processed into alternative lubricants. This can be done by making biolubricant from processing vegetable oil derivatives. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of makin biolubricant from red palm stearin, to determine the effect of reaction time in the second stage of the transesterification reaction on the quality of biolubricant from red palm stearin and to produce bio lubricant with characteristics according to SNI No. 06-7069.5-2005. Research on the manufacture of this bio lubricant made from red palm stearin used a transesterification process. The fixed variable in the study were temperature 150°C, stirring in 400 rpm, mole ratio 1 : 3.9. and 1% sodium methoxide catalyst. And the variables of this study were the transesterifications time for making triesters TMP, namely 120,150,180,210, and 240. The analysis carried out was analysis of yield, density, viscosity, viscosity index, and corrosion rate. The results of this study showed that the length of time for step 2 transesterification had an effect on viscosity, viscosity index, corossoin rate, and yield. The optimal transesterification time of step 2 is 210 minutes to produce a biolubricant with a kinematic viscosity of 14.7991 cst at 40°C, 6,0991 AT 100°C, a viscosity index of 443 and a corrosion rate of 1.083 mpy.

Abstract

Currently, a significant portion of fish feeding still relies on conventional methods involving manual or hand-feeding techniques. However, this manual approach proves to be less efficient due to its strong dependence on human labor. The emergence of information technology has paved the way for a more advanced solution: the potential for automated fish feeding conducted remotely through the utilization of the Internet of Things (IoT) framework. This application of IoT principles for fish feeding automation is executed using the NodeMCU ESP8266 as a microcontroller and transmitter-receiver devices for internet connectivity, a proximity sensor tasked with detecting the quantity of available feed, a servo motor employed to operate the feed valve lid, and the Blynk application employed for both control and monitoring of fish feed activities. The outcome for this project is an IoT-based Automatic Fish Feeder, purposefully designed for versatile deployment, functioning seamlessly from any location with access to the internet.

Abstract

Every company has a responsibility to build a safety culture and safety climate in its work environment. As workers in the production operator section, women workers interact with the production environment, physically in contact with production tools or machines. The work of women in production as operators can be vulnerable to the risk of accidents and long-term health disruption which can ultimately have implications for the quality of life of the working women themselves and their families. The company needs to make an organised effort to realise the behaviour of awareness on safety and health of working women which is expected to have implications for the performance of women in the workplace, so it is necessary to assess (evaluate) the extent of safety culture in Assembly-based manufacturing companies in Batam. The results showed that 1). Management Commitment to Worker Behaviour is positive and significant. So Management Commitment also has a direct effect on the performance of female employees. 2) Involvement (worker involvement) has a significant effect on worker behaviour and has a direct effect on the performance of female employees.3), that Safety Competence has an effect on worker behaviour and performance of female employees. Simultaneous test results show that Management Commitment, Involvement, Safety competence and Worker behaviour have a positive and significant effect on the performance of female employees in assembly-based manufacturing companies in Batam. It can be said that assembly-based manufacturing companies have implemented safety culture for female workers in the production operator section.

Abstract

Optimal laboratory availability holds utmost importance in the pursuit of educational and research objectives at Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis. Confronting the global challenges and competition in today's digital age, Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis finds it imperative to ensure the effective and efficient utilization of its academic resources. Through observations, it has been noted that instances of suboptimal laboratory usage are not uncommon due to instructors' absence from the laboratory as per the designated schedule. This circumstance renders the laboratories unused, consequently disrupting the teaching and learning process. The focal point of this research is to craft academic administration software at Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis, enabling the real-time monitoring of laboratory availability and seamless adjustment of laboratory usage schedules. This ambitious task is undertaken using the innovative DevOps application development methodology. The adoption of the DevOps application development approach yields significant advantages throughout the stages of development, testing, and eventual implementation of this application.
