Abstract

This study aims to explain the logistics material reservation procedure implemented at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Lhokseumawe using the SAP (System Application and Product in Data Processing) system. In its operational process, PT PLN (Persero) requires an efficient and integrated system to support the smooth distribution of logistics materials, especially to support the maintenance and construction of the electricity network. SAP as an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is used to request, manage, and record materials in a structured and real-time manner, starting from submissions by user units to approval by the Warehouse section through the SAP MM (Material Management) module. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the SAP system at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Lhokseumawe can improve the efficiency of logistics management and reduce the potential for errors in the material request and distribution process. This research is expected to be a reference in the development of logistics information systems in public service-based companies.

Abstract

This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis method, chosen to provide an in-depth understanding of the visual content quality and caption consistency on the official Instagram account of Politeknik Negeri Lhokseumawe (@humas_pnl). Data were collected through direct observation of Instagram posts published between January 2023 and January 2024, totaling 184 uploads. The observation focused on identifying patterns in the use of visuals, the presence of captions, and the alignment between text and images. In addition, content analysis was conducted to examine visual elements such as design, color, and typography, as well as textual elements including caption length, language style, message relevance, and consistency. To strengthen the findings, secondary data were gathered from relevant literature and previous studies on digital communication strategies and higher education promotion. Data were analyzed thematically by categorizing findings into visual quality, caption effectiveness, message consistency, and text–visual alignment. The results were then interpreted to provide a comprehensive overview of the effectiveness of Instagram as a promotional strategy for higher education institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the BIVI (Beauty in Virtual Identity) application on the performance of Wardah Beauty Advisors at Toko Butet Joni Kuala Tanjung Batubara. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The results show that the BIVI application contributes to improving operational efficiency through online attendance features based on geolocation and real-time sales recording, which facilitate performance monitoring, payroll calculation, and product stock management. However, the study also found obstacles such as technical issues related to internet stability and limited employee understanding of the application workflow. Overall, the implementation of the BIVI application has a positive impact on enhancing employee performance and can serve as a reference for the development of technology-based management systems in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of social media in building the image of the Class II TPI Lhokseumawe Immigration Office in the digital era. In the context of public services, the agency's image greatly determines public trust in government performance. Therefore, the use of social media is one strategy in bringing services closer to the public. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation of posts and interactions provided by the public. The results show that the use of social media by the Class II TPI Lhokseumawe Immigration Office has played a fairly effective role in building a positive image through fast, transparent information delivery and direct interaction with the public. However, there are obstacles in the image building process, namely the interaction provided by the public is still relatively low. This is indicated by the minimal comments, likes, and shares given by the public. However, this does not hinder the dissemination of information disseminated by the Class II TPI Lhokseumawe Immigration Office to the public.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Jamsostek Mobile Application (JMO) as a digital innovation by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan in delivering services to participants, particularly at the Lhokseumawe Branch Office. The purpose of this research is to analyze the extent of JMO implementation, the features utilized, and the challenges encountered. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method through observation and interviews. The findings show that the JMO application has provided significant benefits such as time efficiency, 24-hour service access, transparency of balance and claims information, and reduced manual administrative burdens. Nevertheless, challenges remain, including limited digital literacy, restricted internet access, and technical issues within the application. User data also indicate fluctuations, these trends highlight the inconsistency of usage despite continuous feature development. Therefore, sustainable socialization, digital literacy improvement (especially for informal workers and the elderly), system stability enhancement, and collaboration with labor communities and digital villages are needed to optimize JMO adoption and strengthen public trust in BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Government Agency Performance Accountability Report (LAKIP) at the Regional Secretariat of North Aceh Regency, focusing on its effectiveness in achieving performance targets, identifying challenges, and assessing its relevance to strengthening accountability, transparency, and the quality of local governance. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, using in-depth interviews with government officials and document analysis, including strategic plans, performance reports, and relevant regulations. The collected data were analyzed thematically to identify patterns, supporting factors, and obstacles in the implementation of LAKIP. The findings indicate that the implementation of LAKIP in North Aceh Regency has been relatively effective in promoting accountability and achieving strategic performance indicators, particularly in governance and human resource development. However, challenges remain, including budget limitations, inter-agency coordination issues, and gaps in human resource capacity. To enhance LAKIP’s effectiveness, it is necessary to strengthen officials’ competencies, optimize budget management, and increase public participation in the performance evaluation process of local government.
