Abstract

The potential and role of MSMEs, which has a large portion of employment and its influence on gross domestic product, makes MSMEs the prima donna of the Indonesian economy. The growth rate that has not met the target and the development of MSME businesses still does not show a positive value in East Java in particular is a concern for improvement. Business processes are the most common problem faced by MSME players. The limitations possessed by MSMEs as well as the abstract form and the many influencing factors make business process identification difficult for MSMEs. By introducing Business Model Canvas (BMC), which can reduce the complexity of creating business processes, MSMEs can identify business processes. In this service, an explanation was given to the MSME association in Sidayu Gresik sub-district regarding the importance of business processes for a business. And in the end, MSMEs are invited to learn to identify their business processes with BMC.

Abstract

Skills and fluency of students or prospective teachers in using Microsoft Word application are highly demanded to ensure the successful completion of tasks. The issue at hand is that the majority of students lack sufficient proficiency in typing mathematical formulas into Microsoft Word documents. The purpose of this training and assistance activity is to help enhance the knowledge and share experiences with prospective teacher students regarding writing mathematical expressions in Microsoft Word. The method employed in this training activity involves the demonstration of materials and direct practice and exercises by the participants. Based on the results of the activity, out of the 12 participants, 10 were able to practice without direct assistance, while 2 still needed direct guidance and support. Consequently, it can be concluded that most of the prospective teacher students already understand how to write mathematical expressions in Microsoft Word but still need to practice to improve their fluency.

Abstract

Desa Duwet is a village located in the Tumpang sub-district of Malang Regency. The majority of the residents work as farmers and engage in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). There are several creative industries, such as crafts made from various bamboo products (besek), satay skewers, various banana-based pastries, and the production of cookies. The besek bamboo crafts are of good quality and should be sold at competitive prices.. The main challenges faced are the lack of promotional techniques and marketing supported by digital information technology through offline and online marketing platforms. A team from the State Polytechnic of Malang helps the village of Duwet with marketing through digital media by creating a website, Shopee account, and Instagram account so that the sales of besek bamboo crafts can be directly from end to end to the customers.

Abstract

Soap is a substance whose majority of its raw materials come from chemicals and use as body cleanser. Soap can be said as an item that must be fulfilled considering its very vital function. Papaya (Carica papaya L.) is a plant that contains secondary metabolites that have important functions for the body such as alkaloids, capin carikaxanthin, papain, saponins, flavonoids and tannis which have pharmacological effects as antibacterial. This activity is descriptive and experimental in nature, starting from the process of delivering material, question and answer sessions, carrying out experimental processes, packing processes and product designs. The purpose o this study is that students can find out the process of making soap made from papaya, which is a home industry-based production process.

Abstract

Digital marketing digitization has become one of the alternatives to increase the sales of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) products. One of the limitations in implementing digital marketing is the lack of skills and knowledge among MSME players in marketing matters. This issue is addressed through the implementation of a digital marketing assistance program focused on MSMEs in Bandilan Village, Prajekan District, Bondowoso Regency. The program targets businesses involved in knitting crafts and cassava chip production. The assistance activities include sharing sessions, creating social media and marketplace accounts, providing training on social media content creation, and direct implementation of digital marketing by the MSME players. The digital marketing platforms utilized in this program are Instagram Business, WhatsApp Business, and Shopee. The benefits of this program are twofold: it increases the sales opportunities for MSME products and also helps the MSME players improve and expand their businesses. This program serves as an alternative and sustainable solution to assist MSME players.

Abstract

Al Anwar Mosque is located in Sawahan Pendowoharjo Sewon Hamlet, Bantul. Currently, the mosque management is planning to renovate the mosque yard in the form of installing paving blocks as a pavement layer. The courtyard of the mosque is still dusty soil, so that in the rainy season it becomes muddy and disturbs the comfort of people who come to worship in the mosque. Funding and technical assistance are the main problems in the renovation program of the pavement layer of the mosque courtyard. On the basis of these problems, it is necessary to carry out community service in the form of funding and also technical assistance for the renovation of the pavement layer of the mosque courtyard. The results of community service activities increase the safety and comfort of Al Anwar mosque worshippers.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is that MSME actors can understand the importance of applying ethical principles in doing business, MSME actors are willing to participate in the socialization of understanding the application of ethical principles in business and understand the application of ethical principles in business. The implementation method used is by means of lectures and discussions using leaflets. The material provided includes discussion of (1) the role of ethics in doing business for MSME actors, (2) the benefits of doing business for MSME actors and (3) the application of ethical principles in doing business for MSME actors.

Abstract

Family support for the completeness of immunization is needed so that children get complete basic immunization and as an initial step to prevent disease. Immunization is the most effective effort to provide specific immunity/immunity against Immunization Preventable Diseases (PD3I). National Immunization Week (PIN) is an immunization activity carried out simultaneously throughout Indonesia. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase understanding of immunization through campaigns to provide information, increase knowledge as an effort to improve the health of infants and toddlers. The method used is counseling in the form of health education, targeting families with toddlers 0-59 months with a total of 80 participants. Evaluation of this service activity is carried out by giving leaflets and banners with a question and answer process at the end of the activity. The results obtained from this activity were an increase in the knowledge of participants in community service activities related to understanding immunization, there was an increase that occurred before or after the activity, which was 50%.

Abstract

AgenPos is a network development concept through partnership cooperation between PT Pos Indonesia and individuals or business entities in order to provide wider postal services to the community. The practice of conducting Field Work Lecture activities lasts for one month, starting from May 1, 2023 to June 1, 2023. The package delivery input system and payment input system, along with the realization review that has been carried out by the Gunung Sari Indah Post agent is very good and contributes greatly to the target at the Gunung Sari Indah Postal Agent, but there are obstacles that occur as well as balance changes in the postal agent program, both for payments and for shipments so that the company has to lose customers. The advice that the author can give is to retain customers, improve optimal service so as to create customer satisfaction and establish good relationships with customers as a form of customer retention strategy.

Abstract

For everyone education is where people will be very competitive in life in the world. In addition, a good education will create a good mental condition in a person, so that it will have an impact on increasing creativity. This tutoring is one of the efforts to improve Human Resources, especially for children by utilizing the learning facilities at the Al-Qur'an Education Park. This study aims to overcome the low learning styles of children in Bungkuk Village, Parang, Magetan. The method used in this community service research is the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method which prioritizes the utilization of assets or potential. The results of this community service research prove that this tutoring activity is an effort to improve human resources in terms of reading, writing, arithmetic and worship practices. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of the children in participating in existing guidance activities, gaining new knowledge, and being more enthusiastic about reciting the Koran..
