Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Tosnus System in enhancing digitalization and improving the efficiency of container loading and unloading operations at PT Prima Multi Terminal by utilizing secondary data from previous journal studies, industry reports, and information from news websites and official company publications. A descriptive qualitative approach is used to analyze how the implementation of Tosnus contributes to accelerating information flow, reducing manual processes, and increasing operational accuracy. The findings indicate that the Tosnus System significantly improves coordination between operational units through integrated digital information, resulting in more structured, transparent, and easily monitored container handling activities. Secondary data also shows a reduction in vessel waiting time and improved equipment efficiency supported by real-time monitoring features provided by the system. However, several challenges remain, including dependence on digital infrastructure stability and the need for continuous system updates to maintain optimal performance. Overall, Tosnus demonstrates a positive contribution to advancing port digitalization and enhancing the operational efficiency of PT Prima Multi Terminal

Abstract

The implementation of digital-based management information systems in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) has become increasingly important in the era of globalization and the advancement of information technology. MSMEs in Indonesia play a vital role in the national economy, but the adoption of digital management information systems (MIS) faces several challenges. Key challenges include limited digital literacy, inadequate training programs, and insufficient technological infrastructure. However, the adoption of digital technology has great potential to improve efficiency and competitiveness of MSMEs. The main objective of this study is to analyze the impact of using digital-based management information systems on the development of MSMEs. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method, examining existing research related to the use of digital MIS in the MSME sector. The results indicate that the implementation of digital-based MIS can transform the operational paradigm of MSMEs towards sustainable growth. This system helps MSMEs manage business information, improve operational efficiency, and accelerate decision-making processes. With the right adoption of MIS, MSMEs can be better prepared to compete in the global market, even though challenges such as limited access to technology and training still need to be addressed.

Abstract

Communication plays a key role in fostering an inclusive organizational culture at the Sikka Regency Communication and Informatics Office. Effective, open, and two-way communication fosters a work environment that values diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and employee competencies. Through the implementation of structured internal communication strategies—such as transparent information dissemination, dialogue forums, and feedback mechanisms—the organization is able to strengthen collaboration and enhance a sense of belonging among all employees. The use of information technology as a communication tool also expands access and participation in decision-making processes. This inclusive work culture impacts performance, innovation, and the quality of public services. Thus, communication plays a strategic role in building an adaptive, responsive organization that is oriented toward the values of openness and diversity at the Sikka Regency Communication and Informatics Office.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work skills and work environment on employee performance at PT. Satnusa Persada Tbk. The type of research used is a quantitative approach with a survey method, namely This research is included as an associative study. Associative research is a study that seeks the relationship or influence of independent variables of skills (X1), work environment (X2), and employee performance (Y) as dependent variables. The population of this study is all employees at PT. Satnusa Persada Tbk. The technique used in this study is purposive sampling. Definition of purposive sampling method "Sampling determination technique with certain considerations, The number of samples in this study is adjusted to the number of statement indicators used in the questionnaire, assuming n x 5 observer variables (indicators) up to n x 10 observed variables (indicators). The number of questions in the research questionnaire is 17 questions; so the minimum number of samples is 5 times the number of questions or 5 x 17 = 85, then the number of samples used is 85 respondents. The results of the study showed the influence of work skills and work environment on employee performance at PT. Satnusa Persada Tbk.. (R Square 424) or 42.4%. From the results of the SPSS Application data processing, it can be concluded that the skill variables (X1), work environment (X2) simultaneously affect the employee performance variable (Y) while 57.6% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This report aims to help improve the quality of interpersonal communication in the Maumere Post Office work environment. Interpersonal communication is a crucial factor in supporting work effectiveness, creating harmonious working relationships, and improving employee performance. The method used in this report is a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation of employees at the Maumere Post Office. This approach was chosen to gain a deep understanding of communication patterns, interactions between employees, and obstacles encountered in the daily communication process. The results of the report indicate that effective interpersonal communication in the Maumere Post Office work environment plays a significant role in improving teamwork, reducing misunderstandings, and creating a conducive work atmosphere. The factors of openness, empathy, mutual respect, and clarity of message delivery are key elements in effective communication. However, several obstacles were still found, such as differences in individual characters and limited communication time. Therefore, this report recommends efforts to improve interpersonal communication through training, habituating open communication, and strengthening working relationships between employees to support the achievement of organizational goals.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the organizational communication strategies implemented by PERUMDA Drinking Water Wairpu'an Sikka Regency in an effort to increase employee productivity and job satisfaction. Effective organizational communication is a fundamental element in building optimal performance, especially in public service companies that demand continuous cross-unit coordination. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and direct observation of company leaders and the organization's work environment. The results of the study show that PERUMDA Wairpu'an implements three main communication strategies, namely: (1) open communication through the implementation of open door policies and the implementation of regular coordination meetings; (2) clarity of the message with the use of simple, systematic language, and supported by visual media that is easy for employees to understand; and (3) speed of information delivery through early warning systems and emergency communication protocols. The implementation of this structured communication strategy has been proven to be able to create a conducive work climate, increase employee motivation and job satisfaction, and strengthen coordination and work effectiveness between units. This study recommends the development of an integrated communication system based on information technology and the implementation of effective communication training programs for all levels of the organization to support the sustainability of company performance.

Abstract

Employee performance and transformational leadership are the central focus of this study, which seeks to examine the extent to which leadership style influences employees’ work outcomes. The research involved a sample of 68 participants drawn from the organization under study. Data were collected using structured questionnaires to minimize interpretation bias and ensure consistency between respondents’ perceptions and the researchers’ measurements. The collected data were then processed and analyzed using SPSS version 26 as the primary statistical analysis tool. The results of the hypothesis testing indicate that transformational leadership has a significant effect on employee performance. This is evidenced by the t-test results, where the calculated t-value for the transformational leadership variable (9.458) exceeded the t-table value (1.997), and the significance level obtained was 0.00, which is lower than the predetermined alpha value. These findings demonstrate that transformational leadership positively and significantly influences employee performance, suggesting that leaders who inspire, motivate, and support employees can effectively enhance productivity, work quality, and overall organizational performance.

Abstract

This study investigates the dynamic interconnection between digital transformation and sustainability by employing a bibliometric analysis based on publications indexed in the Scopus database. Using VOSviewer, this research maps keyword co-occurrence networks, identifies thematic clusters, and examines research evolution from 2000 to 2024. The results reveal that “digital transformation” and “sustainable development” form the central core of the research landscape, strongly linked with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, big data, and smart manufacturing. These technologies are shown to facilitate environmental efficiency, green innovation, and the advancement of sustainable business models. Over time, research trends have shifted from early industrial digitalization themes toward more complex topics including climate change mitigation, green economy, ESG integration, and financial inclusion. Citation analysis further identifies influential works that shape the field, emphasizing major themes such as Industry 4.0, AI applications, and smart city development. Despite the potential benefits, challenges persist, including data privacy, energy consumption of digital infrastructures, ethical dilemmas, and socio-economic disparities in digital access. This study contributes to expanding interdisciplinary knowledge and provides strategic insights for policymakers, organizations, and academics to harness digital transformation as a catalyst for sustainable development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of raw material management strategies and cost efficiency on product quality at Mirah Catering in Surakarta. The research is motivated by the operational challenges commonly faced by catering businesses, particularly related to material availability, storage procedures, cost control, and consistency of food quality. A quantitative approach with an associative design was applied, involving a saturated sample of 56 employees directly engaged in production activities. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression supported by SPSS. The results indicate that raw material management strategies and cost efficiency show a positive direction of influence but are not statistically significant in improving product quality. The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.067) shows that both variables explain only 6.7% of variations in product quality, while the remaining 93.3% is influenced by other factors beyond the model. These findings imply that improvements in production standards, employee skills, and quality control procedures may play a more dominant role in determining product quality. The study contributes by integrating three operational variables—material management, cost efficiency, and product quality—into a single model within the catering industry context and provides practical recommendations for optimizing food production processes at small-to-medium catering businesses.

Abstract

The waste crisis in Indonesia requires creative and innovative approaches that go beyond traditional regulatory measures alone. This study examines the application of nudging strategies in public policy as an effort to encourage behavioral change toward sustainable consumption and the formation of zero-waste communities. The research employs a qualitative approach through a literature review and comparative analysis of relevant waste management policies and practices. The findings identify five main nudging strategies—default options, social norms, simplification, framing, and salience—which have the potential to influence individual decision-making in a non-coercive manner. The results indicate that nudging strategies are more effective in shaping environmentally friendly behavior when supported by adequate infrastructure and active involvement from government, the private sector, and the community. The implementation of packaging return systems, simplification of waste sorting processes, and social norm–based campaigns have proven effective in increasing public participation and awareness. However, major challenges remain, including limited infrastructure, high consumption patterns, and weak coordination among stakeholders. Therefore, this study recommends the development of an integrated policy model that combines nudging strategies, economic incentives, and local regulations to accelerate the transition toward a zero-waste society in Indonesia.
